What kind of Fur are you?

Hey there I'm just really curious as to what kind of furry is more popular and why?
Whats your reasons, why did you pick that animal to be you. Was it a pet that you loved dear and felt close to, or maybe you felt that you understood it so you thought you were it.
something like that


Im a Fox and the reasons i picked fox is because foxes are me. They not smart but sly. There small and love to eat chicken! They enjoy the night time and curling up in small places. This is the reason i picked a fox.
I use to be a dragon but i only liked them cause they were cool and had anger issues so i gave that up for something that suited me better.
It wasn't until i found out there was a fandom for people who like animals, that foxes are just as popular as dogs and cats and I wondered why. So this is how I can figure out.

There's been quite a few threads like this before and I may be wrong, but i think that in every single one, lagomorphs are left out, and I don't understand why. It's not like we're a tiny minority... unless rodents refers to rabbits and hares and the like... Just so you know rabbits aren't rodents. We're lagomorphs.

I'm surprised that there were no scalie options on the list at all, like lizard or dragon.  Of course I fit in a small minority, being a dinosaur, and an even smaller minority of that being a Spinosaurus.  That's the reason I'm extinct in the wild.

i thought rabbits were a type of rodent, so thats why i put them there oh well

well I'm a lace monitor, i guess it just made sense to me to be a scalie due to the majority of my upbringing being in a herpetolgical society. and my favourate lizard we had at the time was, you can probably guess, a lace monitor. and that's how i became the scalie you know me as today.

FYI, herpetology= her·pe·tol·o·gy–noun= the branch of zoology dealing with reptiles and amphibians.

I choose Painted dogs because... Well...
They are social pack animals, fiercly territorial and although they may not be the worlds most dire threat, they got brass ones, if you catch my drift.
Soo... Yea.
They also form tight bonds with those around them, so I guess that fits into me as well, and I've always been one for canines....
It was a tough decision though, I was this close *makes arbitrary paw motion* to choosing a Western Diamondback ('cuz of their violent tendencies, extreeme toxicity and of course, because they are getting smarter. Go rattler's! They may just stop rattling altogether soon enough, hows that for deadliness!?).

what kind of rattler? the snake or something i don't know about?...... cos if its the snake....if they stopped rattling then what would they be called? *ponders for a moment.* i know! I chose the Siberian Tiger because it fits me most.
Felines are more like me (or at least how I try to be), calmer, more serious(I guess this doesn't always fit me.....), more contemplative.
Then I chose Siberian Tiger because I like the cold .
