Hello All!! I have a few questions...

Ok more like a general wondering or survey.

I am new to the forum and I have only done anthro work (or any drawings) for about 2-3 weeks now. I've always been attached to animals and didn't really realized how attached I was til recently. Anyway I KNOW I'm a furry now and I just want to know somethings about other furries:

What is the usual age? What are your ages?
How did you choose your fursona?
How did you decide a name?
How far do you take your furryness?
Are any of you college students/alumni? if so what major?

I just would like to know as much as I can. I've always searched for more understanding in all things. I realize I few of these questions are already posted, but I just wanted to know more.

Thanks for the reply and hello. Also I guess I should answer my own questions:

-I'm 20
-I like wolves and dogs, and just chose my favorite aspects of certain breeds
-its latin for icy, which just seems to fit
-nothing but drawing so far
-I'm a physics major

Hey, it's good to meet new people! your drawings are great for only 3 weeks of practice, kicks the shit out of anthing I can do.

1. The age can range from people that are in there early teens all the way up to middle-aged adults. I'm 15 though.
2. I choose my favourite animal and changed it up a bit.
3. Well my fursona's last name (Álvares) was my grandmother's last name, I have a bit of Portuguese blood so I show it that way.
And my first name, Alexei? I just like Russian names.
4. I draw and look at anthro art, not much further then that. Although some take it as far as fursuiting and going to conventions and stuff.
There are many different ways that people choose to enjoy the fandom but all are accepted.
5. Not yet.

- Depends a lot on where you go. We tend to have a younger age group around here (around 16-21 is the average range, I'd guess). There are plenty of older furries out there though, and we do still have some here. I'm 21, myself.

How did you choose your fursona?
- Kinda long story, but I basically chose the animal(s) whose personality/social traits I felt lined up with my own.

How did you decide a name?
- Found the word in a book and liked it. There's more to it than that, but that's the short version.

How far do you take your furryness?
- I participate in this forum, obviously, and I both draw and browse furry art on various art sites. I don't take it much beyond that, though I do occasionally wear a collar. Most people don't understand the meaning of that though, and that's about it. I don't talk about it much in RL.

Are any of you college students/alumni? if so what major?
- I'm close to graduating. I study animation.

so, hum, i'm Dakes, and i'm a bit busy chasing a bird right now..but i'll explain this to ya^^
