Nori toony suit progress :D

Figured I'd post a few progress photos of the stages for my Nori suit so far!
I'm just wrapping up the head now She's my first foam head, so criticism is appreciated!


The initial foam head:


Getting the cheeks on and the basic shape down!


Finding out the muzzle would be too long....


Snipped it down, and now it looks MUCH cuter, and starting to figure out the smile


Figuring out how to make the eyes...


Starting to fur, and getting the ears on!



(pretty big jump) Settling on the eyes and painting them, lining and putting the tongue in the mouth, attaching the nose, and sewing in the brows...



Finally, attaching the ears, the sabers, the horns (I'll be putting another layer on) and doing some finishing touches. She's nearly done!

Oh wow, she's soo cute My first head looked nowhere near that great
I really like the muzzle shape, and the big boopy nose. Even the expression is good; a lot of newer makers need eyelids/smaller/bigger eyes or something but yours looks fine c:

Yeah, the eyelashes were being a pain, she looked very stern for a while Eventually I trimmed down the width of them, and it looks better now I wish I made the muzzle a bit... less wide, but it looks alright with the big nose.

Thanks! I haven't brushed them yet so they're really scruffy. lol
And did the end of the tail, 17 pattern pieces total and you can't really tell. Soo I could have gotten away with 4.

Sooo I got the tail done:

Realized how massive the feetsies are. O_O

Slapped fur on the feetsies:

And planning out how to do the head hair. (3 inch pile fur, wigs looked too funky)

Did a DTD (It's all cut up now ) And did the leg padding! It's gonna be not fun to walk in. lol

I think you could have done a bit more effort with the foam base
It's hard to cut foam though, so its pretty understandable.
But overall,
it's epic! Love it

Thank you! And yeah, it was a struggle with trying to get the expression right, and dull scissors don't cut as clean At least I know a bit more of what to look for for the next one

So here's the body suit so far! The padding for the legs is just pinned right now, so it moves a lot. And I added way too much seam allowance to one side, so it looks really crooked right now
