Votes for Samurai:
Who voted Samurai:
-
(been watching a bit too much Deadliest Warrior, perhaps?)
KNIGHT!!
-
Too much indeed! You face one of the shows largest fans!, I will moniter this thread regularly, and FF is currently seeking a artist! Just thought I'd say it in the start, we need an artist, for it is planned to make a comic on the results. So, have fun voting!
-
I vote Knight
-
I think a Samaria is deadlier in fighting style, but knights are better armed and more protected
-
I vote samurai.
In almost any situation with a samurai, they tend to win and my competitive side wants to win B)
-
Better fighters, yes, better equipped no.
Knight: I have a rocket launcher you opinion is invalid

Sorry to say this, but the slight curvature of the samurai blade (O'dachi, katana, wakizashi, tanto) would give them a better surface edge, allowing their swords to be lighter and faster without losing blade strength. As for protection, they do wear armor (a type of brigandine under their plates) that resembles much like a scale-mail under outer armor. It's lighter and more maneuverable compared to the full-plate armor, but yes it does have vulnerabilities.
I say that the samurai has my bet on this due to their favor of movement over brute strength.

I'd have to go with the Samurai.

Aye, that's a given. But, the knight has more than a sword. Maces, axes, bows/crossbows, lances/spears...
But that goes for both, I suppose. People sometimes only think about one or two possible weapons, but most warriors of any culture/time period are trained to use many weapons.

knight, the samurai be a wee bit forward in time but still, knight wins no doubt
-
Horsemanship vs Cunning
Chivalry vs Bushido
Crossbow vs Yumi Bow
too many options
On one hand, the Samurai Katana (forgive spelling if incorrect) can slice through pretty much anything medieval era
On the other hand, there's lances and armor crushing weaponry
On the Other one uses his brain to take down his opponents
the other uses force of arms
I'm giving my Edge to the Samurai, (http://www.jasondunn.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/spiketv-deadliest-warrior.jpg)
Due to the fact their main weapon is incredibly versatile, and not to mention extremely deadly, and their secondary weapons are also very dangerous to mounted opponents, the Naginata especially considering it can be used to yank people off of horses
Sure the knight has Plate Armor, but the Samurai would most likely find the weak points and exploit the Knight's clumsier actions to his advantage in his lighter armor
and also because Samurai beat Viking, who was all about the usage of Brute Force

Wow, this really is a hit! Forget it on Newgrounds, this is gonna be the main FF game location! But as I can only access the site through my phone, due to some bloody virus-security error, I'll count the votes on the dealine when my computer works. Oh, and still need artist and writer!
