Title: Anyone else Down With the Sickness?

Hey all,

Just wondering if there are any other fans of Disturbed here. I'm finally going to see them live when they come to my hometown next month. Got my ticket within ten minutes of them going on sale. :P

I can listen to them pretty much no matter what mood I'm in, but they are especially good anger therapy. I actually discovered a couple years ago that I can actually fall asleep to them. :P

I'm listening to them right now.....but it'll be Slipknot or Dethklok soon...but for now its two Albums of Disturbed...10,000 Fist & Indestructable. great music anytime of the day or night

O: oh man I can fall asleep to some of the hardest Metal bands. like they're singing lullabies or somthing! like These Are They, DethKlok, or, some of NuclearBlast Europe's music from Youtube....great stuff....

There pretty good. But to me all of their stuff sounds too similar. Tried different songs from different albums and thats what I thought. Well thats just my opinion of course.

Yeah, but I like the similarity. One of my other favorite bands has dramatically altered the sound of their music, and I only like two songs off their new 18 track album because of it. So for me, Disturbed maintaining essentially the same sound across their albums is a godsend for me.

Well, they're not fixing what isn't broken. But, that means that they're not really evolving, but hit a plateau. I think bands should change, but keep their roots in mind. Kind of like how Rammstein changed a lot, then started to revert back to their old days. I can't listen to Disturbed's new album because I've heard it all before. That's just me. Love their first couple albums though.

I used to listen to Disturbed but I moved to much more harder stuff like Job For A Cowboy and Suicide Silence. But I still listen to them and get the urge to headbang.  X3

I can't listen to them and NOT headbang. Gets me some weird looks when I'm walking down the street, rocking out to their tunes on my iPod. XD
