Wow, I am glad i stumbled upon this. I have been searching the web for a community that could help me with all the questions i have.
First let me say hello! I am new to the furry world. I had some idea about the culture and have always sorta liked it. I really hadnt given it any serious thought until my fiance' made a small joke about me becoming a furry when i was walking around with my tail and ears on. In that small comment i saw a door open and said you know I just may be. I am entirely intrigued and excited to meet new people and talk with anyone and everyone about being a furry.
I did notice on the registration that it asked about a species, now from the reading i have done about it. It really seems to be a personal preference of what best represents you, but there are many species that i believe everyone can share similarities with. I myself seem to be more like a cat(independant, curious,demanding(lol) and a rabbit(shy and reserved but playful at times), i dont know what i am trying to say. I guess I am trying to find my true fursona but am uncertain in which direction to go. Everything about this is new to me and overwhelming but oh so exciting. I wish i could express in words what it feel likes to finally say yeah thats me. :)

Your welcome. Im Macid the Lynx. Welcome to our forums. As for your fursona, it CAN be an animal you relate to or a combination, or it can just be an animal you like. You can be a cat rabbit if you want, you can change it at any time, there's no pressure. What is your favorite color?

I love deep jewel tone colors, red would definately be my favorite out of them followed very closely by purple then blue. A cat-rabbit hmm never thought of combining the two, that makes my heart sing YAY!

Thank you, Macid for the welcome and the information. I think that eventhough the idea of combining the two species intrigues me, after talking with my fiance' (a fact in which i enjoy, never before have i been able to talk to someone so openly about this) and discovering that i mew and purr in my sleep apparently(in all my years i would have never known) i am definately feline, and believe I am more of the domesticated kind as well. A plain simple housecat i think not lol, but definately a domesticated cat.
