Title: Going to China!

Okay my furry friends. I'm traveling to China very soon, and I will be living there for a minimum of 2 years. I'll be training in martial arts the whole time I'm there.
So here's my thing. I'm kinda really nervous about actually living there, so far away from my family and friends for such a long time. I have this laptop, and skype, the school I will be going to has 24 hour internet. I guess I'm just nervous about being so far away. Any advice on how to cope?

find some friends, make some friends. For the love of god find someone to hang out with.

Haha don't worry about that! The school I'm going to is full of westerners that I can connect with. But being away from my friends and family that I've known all my life for SO long. I'm a little worried about. For obvious reasons.

China is a very beautiful country with rich culture and history. I am sure you will enjoy your trip. Do you speak any mandarin. It would relly help you on your jorney If you know a little bit of mandarin before going to china.
