I would have either a Katana or a Scythe both beautiful weapons and a scythe is difficult weapon to master but worth it ^_^
So what'd you guys and gals have?
-
Always wanted an Ivy Whip, that's the sword that can turn into a whip. Like this.

most likely, i would choose my version of a katana :P or something like tht ivy sword up there but with more blade, and less string XD
-
I think a katar would be what I'd want.

Nice an assassination blade

Butterfly knife with a 8" blade, godly weapon of magics!

Butterfly knife with a 8" blade, godly weapon of magics!
As a trained knife fighter... WHY????? :'(
They're so slow and hard to use! Not to mention they're rate of breaking / malfunction DURING a fight and inability to do anything beyond a slow stab into VERY soft tissue.
As for me, I have to go with a form of the rapier known as the Sweiter, a lighter version of the German Kriegsmeiser.
-
Well, I do already have various knives, pistol blades (pistol-grip knives), wakizashis, katanas, and even a couple of shira-sayas.
What I wouldn't mind getting hold of are a couple of kama (hand-sickles) and finding some way to have the sword in my profile made.

Lucky wolf ^_^
-
Oh... hard choice... damn....
I'm gonna be posting here A LOT....
I'll start off, though, with a few things...
I would LOVE a real version of my fursona's dagger. And that bada$$ sword that Brad Pitt uses in Troy.
-
I would have Katana build that is crafted through vary rare and hard metal. As well the blade it self would be ingraved with runic letters.
-
That would be beautiful :*
-
yes it would :*

HAS to be one that is one blade that can be opened to form three.

Bat'leth

And yes, I would want that style too.
Sliding (Flip) Sword

I have this sword and it is freakin' awesome. You can have the blade fully out of either end of the handle or you can have the handle in the middle so it's a double-ended sword. I love it.
Yes, I do love weapons. I would like to have a nice big collection some day.
-
That makes two of us I'd love to have at least on of every bladed weapon in the world
-
Gotta go sword all the way.
-
No master sword anyone? XD
To me it seems like a katana is the way to go for a beautiful and deadly blade, but I think I would personally pick a smaller sword to use with a shield to give me a better chance of surviving like a falchion or something.
-
The hidden blades from assasins creed, but it think i would end up stabbing myself with it...
-
Anduril from LOTR
-
Is there such thing as a balistic bayonet? As in a balistic knife that's able to be mounted under a gun's barrel? For those situations where the last bullet is never enough?
Otherwise I'd chose a normal balistic knife, bladed bow, or another throw weapon such as a spear or hatchet.
-
I have a ceremonial Katana, and a Japanese WWII pilot sword. But I would really love to have a Pata.
Pata: http://www.georgehernandez.com/h/xMartialArts/Media/Swords/Pata.jpg (http://www.georgehernandez.com/h/xMartialArts/Media/Swords/Pata.jpg)
-
TBH? A triangular bayonet. Obviously attached to a rifle.
If I must be more humane then I'd go with a Dolne Apache :D
Or a Claymore. Not the modern explosive, of course, but the traditional scottish piece.
-
I will try to post a pick of the new sword I got recently, looks Awesome!
-
I'm just going to throw this in here...
Omni-blade, Molten Diamond... deadly :P
-
I would go with a Katana that is 2/3rd the size of a full one, maybe made with a aluminum/ titanium alloy and with artificial diamonds on the ends of the blade, and in the handle would be some thin hemp rope, which is attached to the handle for either utility or to swing the sword.
or something like that :3
-
Hidden blades are a must for personal defense... need to make sure whatever they are made of does not trigger metal detectors though xD.
And as a main weapon... a weapon with a mono molecular energy field. The only thing it won't be able to cut through would be another force weapon or shields.
-
I'm not sure if light sabers count, but I wouldn't use them, because A) they are actually really heavy. (if they existed) and B) I would cut myself to ribbons in the first five seconds....
-
Zweihänder in reality, but my fursona already has twin daggers.
-
Longsword as it goes with my Fursona's shield.
-
A steel claymore
-
^ we're of a similar mind!

-
yeah your right XD .wait do you like mythology?
-
Depends. For example I just spent all my spare cash on a bilingual adaptation of Beowulf. Which is inherently a myth. That count?
-
*hugz* bro you are awesome
-
I take it that counts :P
Back on the topic of this thread, I desire an axe. Axes are nice.
-
Ruful axe and Anduril
-
DO you mean the Rueful axe? The one that Vile tried to give me? I prefered the masque. No idea if he gave it in Oblivion because his shrine had a bug in it -_-
-
I liked the mask in oblivion but in skyrim I took the axe
-
By the time he gave me the axe I had already obtained a Daedric [legendary] battleaxe with a health sapping and fire enchantment. Had no use for his axe :P

Ah, sorry Macid.
So I suppose I'd still have to go with a serrated triangular sword bayonette. Ideally attached to a Nagant 1944 Carbine but, really, even attached to a handle.
-
My favourite weapon would actually be a large ball-and-chain flail, but oh well. :/
My favourite bladed weapon would be a long silver gladius. It's a short sword, but I prefer shortswords.
-
Interesting how you compared a gladius to a shortsword, because they are used so very differently .-.
-
This one... only with black instead of copper red.
-
I know they're used differently, I was just comparing them by size. :/
Edit: Wikipedia says that they're used in fairly similar manners: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gladius#_
I don't know who's right here.
-
Gladius is thicker. Often used just to hack through an oponent whilst a shortsword can be used for the same thing, however is more potent when used to thruse through weak points in your oponents armor.
Or run hm through, if hes unarmored.
-
I love knives, especially balisongs (Butterfly knife). Here's a video I made (I hope not to have problems @3@)
Demonstraçao[Balisong Beginner] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxRv3jfVtJ8#)
-
I bought a few machetes this weekend. Military grade. ;3
-
Do love machetes. Own two, oculd use another one. Prefferably a sawback.
-
I want to get one of those fancy cavalry swords the CSA had.
-
A wakazashi and a Katana.
Then I can eviscerate my foes with my Daosho! >:3
-
A friggin battle axe!
-
Well, now that's confusing. What type of battle axe? I know the standard dual expansion-bladed variation seen in most media is very old, and was only ever used in actuality in mediteranean religious practices, and even then only by women.
-
A Deadric greatsword
-
I would have Ice, the fabeled sword of Ned Stark of House Stark, made of Valyrean steel and sharpened to its finest.
