I have a rather interesting question that I have never pondered, but suddenly curious about.
What is the plural of Furry?
Searches in several areas have yielded mixed results. Dictionary.com gives back 'furry' as the typical definition of having fur. Other spellings of the word are furrily and furriness the adverb and noun, respectively. Other searches on the same site yield different results. Furies, which is a popular one I've seen floating around redirects to Fury; anger, violent rage, etc. Below it comes up with Erinyes from classic mythology, a hideous female monster who relentlessly pursued evildoers Also known as 'Furies'.(learn something new everyday, I swear).
When searching the spelling 'furries', dictionary.com doesn't know what the hell I am trying to spell. fail
At this point I decided to ask Google since they apparently know EVERYTHING. It came back with this site http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Furry. (http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Furry.)
The problem there is they use furry's and furries.
My best guess is that 'FURRIES' is the best spelling as a plural for furry.
Do you agree? I ask this because I am building a web server this week and the site I want is available with the spelling of 'furries', but I don't want to drop the 12$ on the registration unless I know I have the correct spelling. :D

Well from what I have seen from four years in this fandom "furries" is the correct spelling. But it can be taken either way (English language am I right?)

I should have expanded my search a little further and paid more attention. Even though my job requires me to pay HUGE attention to detail(e.g. don't want to enter an IPv6 address wrong in a routing table x.x) I failed miserably to notice in our very own Forum Profiles that the word 'furries' appears there a few times. Made my determination that furries is the plural and have purchased my domain. :D
Thanks...
