"Hm, hm, hm." The girl began to hum a small song. This song is sung to her by the trees in the morning. They sing it in the afternoon and at night so the little kitsune can sleep. She's alone. She always has been. No one comes through this forest unless it is the monarch or they are banished by the monarch. This forest has no end. Only a beginning. And she was born here, raised by the trees. Her name is Vixella. She likes being alone. Today, she won't be so alone.
"Tell me, Fernarus," she speaks to one of the tall forest trees as she looks down at the lily blossoms. "Have you ever hurt a human?" It was silent and then she giggles brightly. "Oh, my. That must have been a bloody hoot!" Around the bend, a twig snaps. Quickly, she jumps down under the bridge and into the water, waiting and watching.

(No, you don't have to. More of an improv rp so add details as it goes! ^-^)

((HERE COMES THE NAI!))
The knife maker sighed, plodding through the forest. He had been banished here three days ago, and his food supplies were running low. He would have to start foraging soon, and he didn't know the first thing about that. He was at home in a world of steel and cobblestone, in the heat of a furnace. Not the cool shade of a forest morning. All of the little tiny hidey-holes that the various animals of the forest can hide in (most of them poisonous, he was sure) set him on edge. Which is why he nearly jumped out of his pants when a branch snapped under his left boot, his large, 13" knife in his hands before he could give it another thought.

She can't help but whisper to some of the trees, searching for an answer to who this man was. She'd never seen him before, so he must be new. Trying to stay as quiet as she can, she begins to tiptoe through the water. It still makes quite some noise but what else can she do? There's no way she's getting stuck helping, yet another fugitive. Last time, the other one started to hurt the forest out of pure insanity. Humans are NOT to be trusted.

He heard something plodding through the water, most definitely not him this time.
"H-hello?" he said, just barely keeping himself from panicking "W-who's there?" he looked around, his knife trembling, hardly fit to fight. Truth be told, he had only been on one true fight before. And he had almost died, saved by the timely arrival of a town guard. The other times, his weaponry had scared most people off, and he knew a few tricks to make it seem like he knew what he was doing. But he didn't, not at all.

Her head poked up above the bridge and she sniffed at his feet "Yes, I know it'd be rude but he's human!" She spoke to the forest right in front of him as it were a normal thing. Well, it was for her. She hopped up onto the bridge and stared at him. Her tail swayed back and forth behind her and her ears twitched to the sound of singing birds. "Hello. My name is Vixella. I speak for the forest. Are you lost?"

The knife maker jumped, and made what seemed to be a speaking noise. Then, he saw vixella, the first thing he noticed was the fact that she wasn't some monster of the forest, out to kill him. He didn't notice her speaking to the forest, however.
"y-yes..." he said, though in truth, he had no real destination, so it was impossible for him to get lost. "I-I'm Naismith.... Nice to uh... Meet you."

"Well..." She sat on the ground and thought for a second. "To the east, there's a camp of banished elven. To the west, humans. Or maybe..." She looked around and stood up. "Maybe it was the north and south. Fernarus, do you remember?" She paused. "Well, I know I've been here longer. That's why you should remember more than me!"

"I'll just be going." h said, sighing. She was obviously s child of the forest, as he had hear a few tales of. Born into the trees, raised in the trees, destined to die in the trees. Even if she did remember where the camps were, he couldn't go to any of them. Just then, you notice a long, black tail twitching behind him, and if he hadn't been wearing a hat, you would see black dog ears of the same color.

The black tail glints in her peripheral vision and she freezes, her eyes wide. She slowly turns to him and her jaw drops. In. one swift movement, she jumps on him and her tail twist around his. "Oh, another one? Am I not the only one? My prayers have been answered have they?"

He cocks his head as her eyes widen, gulping slightly, and letting out a loud whimper "yes... I... Am.." he shied away from her, blushing furiously

She reaches up and gives his cheek a small peck. "Oh, I won't have to be alone anymore. Why didn't you just say you were a forest nymph? Oh, look at this tail. Do you have the ears to?"

"yeah, I do." he went, briefly removing his cap, and just as quickly placing it back onto his head "so... You've been alone out here, all your life?"

"Yes. But I wasn't the only one born here. I slid right out of Lady Thorneus." She took his hand and began to lead him through the brush. "Almost like a human birth. She tells me that there use to be more like me but they've all grown up and moved into the outside. That's a funny thing, isn't it? To move in the out?"

"huh... Well it does make a certain amount of sense but... It does sound kinda funny. As for me, I lived in a rather large town, leetown, for as long as I can remember. Got quite good at making knives, so that's what my job was!"

(Is there a limitation to how many characters someone may have?)
