-
I'm just gonna go out and say it
I'm a Christian
-
I'll tip my hat
Just give it a little while. There'll be some dickhead that comes along and bashes this thread.
-
^^ Of course
Miss Armonia here, I'm a Christian! It's really nice to see other furries interested in this. :)
-
Yay. It's nice to meet other christian furries than myself ^_^
-
Wow, I'm actually surprised, I thought I was the only one on the forums :P
*Waits for an anti-christian a-hole to come along*
-
I never new it was going to catch on im very happy i listen to God
-
This group has my support!
-
I'd be careful with this thread.
I'm not Christian myself but I do believe in a non-secular force. I also come from a Catholic and Baptist background.
-

I think they call that "tolerance"
why it's not hurting anyone
freedom of religion

I'm a Mormon, but I think Chirstain religon is ok with me.
-
I'm a Mormon, but I think Chirstain religon is ok with me.
But isn't Mormonism a denomination of Christianity?
-
Yes, but I don't go to church anymore.. So I don't count me as a Mormon anymore.
-
Oh okay. I was just curious.
-
I think when the baby boomer groups try to update morning sermons with modernized hymns, it's somewhat hilarious or when they use altered forms of songs to further the agenda. People who go to church already "get it", no need to bash it in lol.
-
I prefer the older hyms than anything. They're a lot simpler than the new or modern ones.
-
Well the end is upon us
every thing is going down hill
It makes me sad
-
I guess it depends on how you look at it.
-
And let me tell you this i first died on Sep 5/2008 in a car crash
I seen Jesus and he told me to warn his people that he is coming soon
-
I guess it depends on how you look at it.
So what do you know about are lord and master Jesus Christ
-
It's kind of hard question to answer without writing a book about it haha.
-
Ya eh
-
Do you read the bible
-
Yes. Often times I use it for my nerves.
-
That's good to hear
-
I'm indifferent on the hymn thing
Also I read the bible too ^~^
-
I love traditional hymn music, but some of the modern stuff is good.
-
So it's a new day that are father god has given us *sitting in a meadow*
-
I guess it depends on how you look at it.
My brother in Christ
-
Pray for Paris, Rome, and all the other cities which will be possibly bombed today, according to Isis. May God bless us all.
(yes, i'm Christian.)
-
I grew up Christian (Methodist to be specific) until I was about 12 or so. Nowadays I consider myself agnostic and slightly pagan-curious. Despite that I still have some nostalgia for the church/community I used to go to even if I don't believe in that religion anymore.
I don't think it should matter what religion(or lack thereof) a person is, as long as they're decent people right?
-
I am a proud Catholic-Christian.
[Smiles]
-
I know right
-
As a Christian myself I have no problems with the things you're saying. You have the ability to believe whatever you want. Free will is God's gift to all humanity.
-
That's right
-
God has given everyone talents to show how much He loves us. But it's what you do with those talents is how you show Him your love and gladness.
I mainly use music.
-
I soon will speak up and i hope that ppl will listen
-
My ears are always open OneFang, say whatever is inside of your heart.
-
Well it's the end and no one is seeing it just some but we are dubbed crazy people the time is so close and yet ppl are still not believing it we are seeing the signs all around us
-
I do believe that the world will eventually end. However I think that we still have a few good centuries ahead of us.
-
You don't need to go to church it's just nice to be around others whither the same beliefes you
-
The son of god will return when you least expect it
-
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saint, aka: "Mormon", which is indeed a part of the Christian community.
-
Does anyone have any sort of specific keepsake, if you will, that someone got to help with the connection to God or just made you feel the presence of God?
-
Just read the good book and pray god wants us to be close to him
-
Scriptures or a photo of family are definite good ones.
-
When I hear stories about people getting healed by god's will, or when I pray, and he helps me with what, I prayed for, I really feel like, I know, he's there.
-
I have a necklace given to me for confirmation of the Presbyterian church. The cross is bent silver and looks very nice. (Picture maybe?) It just reminds that I'm not alone, even if I feel like it.
-
Thanks, Vosur
I would appreciate it if you guys could pray for one of the youth ministers at my church who's being deployed in December
-
Will do ^_^
-
Added to the prayer list. <3
-
Thanks guys ^_^
-
God bless you
-
I'm not a Christian, but I guess I'd like to be. I wasn't raised in a (practicing) christian family, but I was still baptised lol. Tbh I'd say most people in the UK aren't practicing christians
-
That is the first step to Jesus
-
@Aelyn: During my time in the UK, I'd say they were (or at least the area I was in did seem like it), just that most of them are rather appreciative for their "me" space. They can be friendly, but they are rather "reserved" in how friendly they are due to a lot enjoying their privacy. There are a fair number of churches and some of them are almost constantly used due to the number of members within that area.
-
I agree with you there, we are a pretty reserved country. But there are a lot of churches, (at least where I am) one is over 1000 years old near me
-
I've always wanted to baptized, but just so that I can know what it feels like. I've been to a couple friends' and it looks like a life changing event.
-
It is
-
I can't remember it as I was a baby, Lovien. But if you want too, go for it! ^_^
-
If it's on your soul
Do it
-
It's not on my soul, it's on my bucket list, but the experience of the... Spiritual ritual(?)... I don't onow
-

Relics of the past, you're quite right, religion has dramatically fallen in the U.K. particularly over the passed few years. I really like the churches that it's left behind, they're really nice buildings, I live right next to one and would sit in it and write all the time, I however wouldn't say I'm religious and more that I share similar views to [Amethyst]. :)
-
I find it funny when people say "There's no proof that the bible is true" When it's the most reliable source of history of its time. It passes bibliographic and external test better that any other historical document of its time
-
OMG, yes thank you wolx
-
Proud catholic right here! x3
-
Alonzorion, yeah ^_^ I mean you have to admire the craftmanship and architecture of them, as well as they are very peaceful places :)
-
I do photography of them for my Japanese friend where ever I travel, along with train stations. n.n
-
Interesting choice train stations lol. I imagine he/she wants to see the sights and such? ^_^
-
Correct, in return I get a lot of photos of Japan. We both love places of religion, culture and err... trains hahah. :D

Why it's not evil or anything
It's against forum rules, so it is evil.
-
O srry

But it is legal
-
But it is legal
It's still against forum rules, legal or not.

OK OK I got it

What happened?

It's over now ^_^

This thread has been moved twice. Dang

Where is it now
-
It was under Random then the Meet ups and now it's under General
-
Kk
-
Sorry, there has actually been a lot of debate within the staff on where this was to go outside of Random. General consensus led it to General eventually. I do apologize about any confusion it caused.
-
*hugs vosur* x3 hehe
-
Who is out there
-
OK
Please remember to keep posts above 2 words in length
-
Christian here. Though I definitely have more open beliefs than my Church of Christ and familial background... Good to see there is religious tolerance here. These days freedom of religion seems to mean freedom to have no religion or be insulted... :S
-
Well have a open mind
-
I like people who have a open mind
-
I'm not that strict in my beliefs as well. I have a more open mind about what I accept than my parents and I involve myself in things they wouldn't accept. It has never lead to conflicts, but that's because they don't know I involve myself in those things. (FYI: it's about two PG-13 comics and Pokémon.)
As for freedom of religion, this even happens in Christianity. Some Christians are so strict about some things that they think their way of believing is the correct. Ugh...
That's a heinous understatement. Ever heard of Westboro? Gives me headaches to think about..
-
Fair play Michen, good work mate B) I'll check em out :)
-
Cool, I may have to check them out
-
I'm in-and-out on Christianity. I remind myself that I'm a child of God every time I get stuck behind some dumbass in traffic. I pray every time I'm close to dying in a game or IRL.
-
I identify as theistic (belief in a god), and in some aspects I do identify with Christianity. I support this thread completely :P
-
WELL I HATE- I cant even joke about this but hey I'm a Christian as well and I support this thread *slaps on Dumbscootrs seal of approval*
