I think everyone has had this problem at some point, where the formatting of a post is completely destroyed by the post editor.
How, you may ask?
It seems almost at random that the editor will put the text font as Verdana and the size as 9. This more than often makes some posts as unreadable and it will almost always take you as surprise.
It will even sometimes happen as you remove text while you edit the post, most notably when you hit the backspace at the front of a line of text.
Besides this, one big issue that annoys me most of all (funnily enough) is that when I create paragraphs, somehow the empty line, becomes 2 empty lines instead, really spacing out the text. The only work around is to disable the WYSIWYG editor which has become a habit for me before posting.
Can we address this age old annoyance I wonder?

I was wondering when someone else would bring this up! :D
I use the Toggle View button (which I assume you mean by the WYSIWYG editor) all the time (especially now being a moderator, I'm much mroe fearful of making text unreadable should I post something important :P).
While I think typing with BBCode and seeing everything I write clearly suits me and I enjoy that the most, I don't expect (and don't want) anyone to have that if they prefer the current formatting system.
Meaning: I'd like to see the tiny text issue get solved when someone isn't using the Toggle View button (whether they forgot or simply don't want to).
And the Toggle View button still have a function and being there.
If this makes sense.

Just to add, I found that this issue often occurs during the insertion of a quote, I dunno if anyone else has experienced that but when inserting a quote the format will usually stuff up.

It also happens when I want to copy any text anywhere from the forums. I'm not sure if it also happens if I copy text from somewhere else... can't remember.
