The Arctic Islands were a wonderfully exotic place for one to behold. Everything about the Islands had a new and exciting feel to a newcomer stepping onto the cold shores. Hundreds, perhaps even thousands, of years of isolation had given them their own, unique community.
There was a young fox by the name of Crimson. Crimson Rose Sinclair to be specific. Though, she hadn't heard anyone speak her surname in years. She had already arranged meeting with a group of poachers in this spot, meeting a re-presenters at one of the many sleazy pubs.
On the diplomatic island of Slimtla, the towns and cities thrived under the influence of the rest of Feila. A whole new plethora of goods were introduced, including agricultural products. The trading port of Okipok was no exception to this new rule. Once just a small village that was home to mainly Foxes, Wolves, Keidran, Dragons and many Hybrids, it's key location of the shores of Slimtla near Shiya made it's population sky-rocket. The natives here had assimilated with the merchants of Feila looking to make it big in the new world. Marketplaces arranged in long lines parallel to the shore were established, and ports were built for boats of all manners and sizes. And while many 'proper' houses and buildings had been built (some still in the process) there were still small pockets of traditional huts. Not igloos, mind you. Igloos were only temporary homes built for long hunting trips.
Sitting quite contently on one of the many crates brought off of the large boats was a young Keidran. Like the rest, she was covered in only a few layers of furs and Clothing. Even though it was the middle of one of the Arctic's harsh winters, the young Keirdan had the upper hand over the 'newcomers.' Hundreds of generations living in this land before she granted the hybrids a wonderfully thick coat that hardly needed covering at all.
The Keidran was barely 17 years old, an age at which the natives were considered full-blown adults. Showing off her Keidran heritage marvellously was an almost dark-brown pelt, with a few black-brown marking spots on her legs, chest, arms and top of her tail. A prime example of Keidran fur, her coat was almost sherbet in places, and her underbelly a creamy brown. A long, fluffy tail was rested on the crate, sometimes swaying whenever she got the urge.
A small shard of a crystal was tied around her neck, signifying more than most would know. The way it was tied, bound in leather, showed that she was a willing guide to the many crystal caves just outside of Okipok. However, this was an illegal act, to guide foreigners to the caves, so she couldn't just right and advertise her knowledge. Most other native would look down on the young keidran for her willingness to defile the caves. However, in her mind, a keidran had to stay alive somehow.
You do not need a character info section in the Fun RP boards.

Age:14
species:flying fox
Character background:streets
Clothing: ripped skirt or jeans and a torn t-shirt
Weapons/magic:small knife,shapeshifter,esplody things
-
The shifter in the form of a sleek black panther was just over 17. Her thick brown hair blew into her face, annoying her. She brushed it aside, looking around the woods. Wearing a thin red shirt and plain light blue jeans, she adjusted her anklets and paced.
-
Name: Koleyn Erela Xenosa.
Age: 18.
species: Arctic wolf.
Character background: She's a native of the land. She doesn't really like the newcomers and how they've practically taken over. She doesn't have any friends, even though she can be pretty friendly, or family to speak of. She's kind of loner, even though she doesn't like it that way. No one knows much, if anything, about her or her past.
Clothing: White t-shirt, blue jeans, and a long sleeve light blue overshirt.
Weapons/magic: Silver twin sai, her hands and feet, pyrokinesis, telepathy, telekinesis.
She walked along the shore, not in a good mood at all. She glared at some of the newcomers as they arrogantly passed in front of her within an inch or two, her fingertips setting on fire, but she balled her hands up into fists and clenched her teeth as she continued onward along the shore.
-
Her skills in shifting, archery, and swords led her to lots of places but this place was the strangest of all. "Where am I?"
-
she swooshed out her wings and landed with a thump and lay sill on the graasy gorund
-
The young Keidran was sat on a create by the docks, which is beside a small tavern. She was approach by an outsider wolf pack who asked her some questions about what Slimtla was like and what it was there was around the place.
-
Eyes narrowed, she sniffed the air and crouched, adjusting her body to blend in with the darkness. After a shadow had passed, she sighed, standing again.
-
She finds a spot down the shore away from most of the docks and sits down. She stares out at the water. It's hard for her to look inland now and seeing how much has changed. She exhales and makes a small, short jet of fire come out of her nostrils.
-
she woke up and looked around.she spat out some sand and lay there cheking what bits were broken and what just hurt like hell.once done she sat up slowly looking around and wraping her arms around her. she didnt notice vee away behind

HoKaze no Flames was well known for randomly travelling through dimensions. He was well known in his time and in his world for his feats of Heroism and great skill. What wasn't so well known was his irritation at being flung through time and space. Cursing the Gods quietly he took a survey of the Arctic Island he was on, never once leaving the shadows. He had good reason to hide, his fiery orange fur, ominous crimson armour and general appearance clearly not being the norm here.
Flames crept away from the port town, making sure that nobody was looking before he blasted off, into the freezing wilderness, travelling at inhuman speeds with little more than a gentle whipser of wind. He certainly wasn't normal. It would probably be a while before he was randomly thrown away again, like an unwanted toy, so he might as well enjoy the beauty of the islands.
Still, he mused, something's bound to happen. It always does with me...
This wasn't right, he thought, a strange cam flooding him as he looked out to the sea, the waves rippling with grace as a light breeze blew across the landscape. He removed his helmet, letting his long, orange hair fall to his shoulders as the wind blew it back. It wouldn't be any good if the natives saw an armour-clad warrior weilding an Energy-Blade, would it? He would try and blend in for a while, learning of the location. The "casual" clothes he wore underneath his armour were not the best of clothing, nor where they what most would refer to as "casual", but they would do.
The wind picked up and the waves grew, lapping at the islands with a strange widness, almost like an animal. The sound of people in the distance reached the Flames' ears, he paused for a tenth of a second before he vanished, a slight afterimage in his place.
-
((Wow))
shifts to a standing positoion and wonders over towhere the persn had just dissapeaered from she wiped her paw through to test it but othing.she sighed and squinted into the distance
-
After giving the outsiders the information they need she decides to go to the tavern behind her, Luckily for her the drinking limit was 16 and she is the age of 17. She sits down at the bar and orders a glass of Grapevine, before going to sit at a table in the corner, her head down so her hair covers her eyes, but she can see through a small bit so she keeps her eyes on who is coming in and just generally sitting round drinking.
-
she dumped herself down on the doround and looked around at the scenery and wonderedwhere se was exactly.
-
"That had been too close..." Flames muttered to himself as he walked back to the port town. He had hid his armour under several tonnes of ice several miles away. Few could move the weight and the armour would remain undamaged.
Flames breathed deep breaths of the fresh, clean air, his bare chest and the patch of white fur on it clearly visible. He had some baggy trousers, but no shirt. He was used to extreme conditions, so going around without a shirt on was no big deal.
Still, the strange orange fur he had with the odd patch of white was somewhat out of place.
His X-Sabre was firmly strapped to his back as always as he entered the tavern, the blaster strapped to his hip concealed by the baggy atire he wore. The winds blew fiercely as the door to the tavern shut.
-
Looks up from her seat at the fur who had just walked into to the tavern, She sipped her drink and minded her own business as her crystal necklace hung from her neck and shone in the sunlight. She took out one of her swords and started to examine it in the shine of the sun, and soon found a few specks of dirt and a few finger prints, so she decided to rip the bottom off of her top and used it to polish the katarna 's blade.
-
grabs the necklace that was hsnging round her neck and walks towards the tavern, whilst jangiling her money in her packet whilst looking forawrds
-
Flames drifts around randomly, trying to gather infomation, when he suddenly realises that he has no money...At least, not a form of currency he could use. He somewhat doubted that 3 spheres of pure energy, 200 digital credits, a 'dragon whisker' and an all-access pass to the universe would get him much. Was it just him or where there a lot of necklaces around? "I must be imagining things." He says to himself mentally as he ponders on his next move.
Now where could he get some money...?
-
What seemed like an eternity passed. She could hear footsteps near the town she was outside of. Mustering up her courage, she walked in, looking for the tavern. It seemed somewhat of a ghost town, and the locals were giving her odd looks. Shivers ran up and down her spine as she pushed the door to the tavern open. "Hello? Can anyone help me?"
-
Gets up and sheaths her katana in her back holster before walking over to the bar and placing her glass down and looking at the bar keep
"Same again please"
she sits down at the bar as she waits for her drink to be made, also she looks at her Crystal shard and thinks why her is the only one of its kind.
-
Flames' mind may have been focused on his own plight, but he wasn't exactly selfish. A newcomer entered and requested help. Flames paused at this, his mind working at great speeds. It was in his nature to try and help, but as he wasn't even from this world he couldn't help anyone could he? Logic or nature? "Would you be alive now if you had listened to your logic?" He asked himself. He thought about it for a hundredth of a second. His answer: "No". Nature won and he walked over to the newcomer.
"How can I help?"
-
She looked at flames, smiling. "I was wondering if you could show me where I may get a room?"
-
"Kuso!" Was Flames' initial mental reaction, until he remembered the snippets of info info he had heard earlier.
"Sure. This tavern has 3 rooms free upstairs and the price is supposedly quite reasonable. Just ask one of the people behind the bar. There are other places around, but the rooms here are cheap and cosy." He says confidently, not once letting the fact that he's an outsider show in his speech or body language. "May I ask your name?"
-
She glanced down at her feet and blushed unintentionally. "I...I don't remember..I think it's Sam though." She replied, moving her eyes up till they were level with his. "What's yours?"
-
Flames stares Sam straight in the eyes, revealing a pair of orbs in which a fire is forever burning and a wind eternally blowing. Strange, abnormal eyes which tell a thousand tales everytime they are seen.
"I am known as HoKaze no Flames......but everyone calls me Flames, for short."
-
Gets up and leaves the tavern swaying her tail behind her as she goes to practices with her katarnas in a local training place
-
"Nice to meet you Flames."
-
She stands up and walks from the beach into the town. She walks past a few buildings before reaching the tavern and entering it. She closes the door and walks swiftly past the bar, sneezing once so hard that a short, abrupt jet of flames came out of her mouth which didn't usually happen cuz she only let flames out of her nostrils and mouth when she needed to soothe herself or just felt like it. She shrugs at herself and sits down at a table by herself, ordering a drink and watching all of the other people in the tavern.
-
walks with her head down towards the tavern when she heard someone walking before her
-
"The pleasure is mine." Was Flames' reply. He mentally cycled through his options before landing on the best one for this scenario.
"Do you know of any problems recently? People being attacked, ice needed moving, strange creatures that need taking caring of, anything like that? It's just..." Flames reddens slightly (although it isn't noticible unless you look really closely) before continuing: "...that I'm good at dealing with those sorts of things and I don't have a source of income right now..."
-
walks arounf town for a bit an dthen finally gathers up courage and walks into the inn to see two fur tlkin, she stood a few footsteps away lookingdown and holding her rightarm she waited
-
She chugs her drink when it's delivered to her table, then looks around at all the others inside the tavern and shakes her head. She gets up and goes to the bar, paying the bartender for her drink and giving him a tip that seems a little big for her just getting one drink. The bartender just nods and smiles at her. She walks down the bar and mumbles something to the extent of "Too many outsiders", her paws becoming covered in flames. She smiles and opens the door, the flames on that paw moving to her wrist just while she touched the door so she wouldn't set it on fire then moving back to her paw again, and walks out, just letting the door slam shut in the breeze.
-
wonders what was wrong with the toher fur biut hopefully she hadnt been noticed ad no one hd seeemd to think she was there at all, that was the briliance of it i guess. she thought with a smile
-
"There was something in the last town I was in. Would you like me to show you?"
-
"Yes please, if it is okay with you. If you need to rest or go somewhere, I can wait..." Flames answered in a thankful tone.
-
She shook her head. "No, its fine. I'll take you now." Her eyes scanned the tavern as she talked, searching out someone she'd been sent to talk to. "Where are you from?" She asked, smiling.
-
Flames' insides froze at those words. Idiot! He should of known something like this would happen. His expressions remained casual as he said: "Names of places aren't important to me, as I simply follow my own path through the world, moving with the wind. I don't know anymore where I'm from..." It was actually the truth, in a way. He had simply neglected to say that he came from a different time period and possibly a different world. His tone and body language was casual and friendly, as opposed to the cryptic manner one would expect from an answer like that.
The wind had changed direction slightly outside. Nobody noticed, nobody cared...
-
She doesn't wander to far from the tavern after she leaves. She actually stands across the street for no particular reason, having nothing to do. She covers her whole arms in flames just for fun and shoots fire at random spots in the snow in front of her.
-
"Ah, I can tell you're not from around here though. Probably not even this country." The smile widened. "I'm not from this world." She whispered, turning to walk out.
-
continuous to train with her katanas
-
Flames' expression froze for a fraction of a second before a wide smile appeared on his face. He followed, before softly replying: "I see...That puts me at ease. Was it really that obvious about me?"
There was a pleasant breeze outside...
-
She stops shooting flames at the snow when a couple people came out of the tavern, but the flames covering her arms remain since she really had no reason to be ashamed of her power over fire.
-
~Sheaths her katarna and sits on the floor playing around and making little earth people and water people, before making then fight, seeming she has power over, earth, water, fire, wind and blood.
-
Flames glanced back as he left the tavern. He sensed something...unusual about the fur with the katanas. Their eyes locked for a brief moment which seemed to last an eternity. One set of eyes revealed nothing, hiding away their knowledge, whilst the other eyes spoke a grand tale of suffering, pain, war and death; all ablaze in a roaring fire. One set of eyes revealed nothing, the other set morphed the atmosphere with emotion. And then their eyes went elsewhere, as Flames closed the door behind him, one set of eyes still filled with a crimson fire, empowered by an ever-changing tornado. The eyes blinked a few times as the wind made its way through the air...
-
After killing the earth and water people, she makes mud men with the remains and then freezes them using wind
-
She slaps her forehead with a flaming paw and curses under her breath. She was supposed to be somewhere else by now and she had forgotten. Her whole body became covered in flames as she sprinted past people in the street to get to her destination, ignoring practically everyone around her.
-
"It was, but don't worry. I'm sure you'll fool everyone else." She looked back at the tavern for a second then continued walking, felling pinpricks of ice trickle through her skin. It was starting to rain.
-
Why rain? Why, now of all times did it have to rain? Flames wasn't exactly fond of water, especially ever since that time he had been cursed to change whenever it rained...but that was back in that crazy world of waffles and immortal pancakes.
Why now? Why did it rain on him? Why? Flames double-checked himself for a moment and confirmed that he had been cursed again during his journey between worlds. It seemed to be a popular curse right now. At least hot water would negate it...
"I'm glad to hear that I can fool at least some people..." Flames replied, his voice sounding slightly off.
It just had to rain, didn't it...At least the curse wouldn't fully change him for a while...his resistance seemed to be working.
-
looks up at the sky and then back at the water before getting off of the concrete steps and going for a walk in the rain
-
"Ah, the sky's crying." She murmured, slowing down to keep pace with flames. "How did you get here?"
-
She kept sprinting through the rain. The flames that were covering her body not faltering much from the rain drops. This would be a long run and she felt better running when she was covered in her comforting flames. She glanced back over her shoulder as she sprinted and locked eyes with random people, then turned her head back and continued forward.
-
"Meh, I got here the same way I get to every other freaking alternate universe, world, planet or reality: the Gods decide to hurl me through a rift of space and time to entertain themselves as I suffer...How about you?" Flames said, his voice strangely cheery...
-
her fur is drench and her clothing plastered to her because of the rain so she starts to head back the way she came from occasionally stopping to look at a few places to get Flu-flu arrows
-
"I got here by about the same thing. 'Cept I asked to be thrown in the warps. It was a humbling experience, let me tell ya." she chuckled, shaking her head in amusement. "So where are you originally from?"
-
"Me? Planet Earth, the year 24XX. My world is mostly dry and made up of badlands, although there are greener places too and a few seas. I come from the outskirts of Neo Babylon, the last city on my world. The Gods have been throwing me into alternate versions of my home a lot, especially after I saved my kind from this maniac who turned out to be a Demi-Demi-Demi-God of some sort. They weren't very happy when he died...
How about you?"
-
sits out side the training arena tipping her Flu-Flu arrows with poison because she is going to be trying her last match at Moon-flow arena to see if she can become a Arena master. She has been in the arena trade since she was a novice, and slowly working her way up to apprentice, She has been fighting in many battles and it has taken her a few years to get to get were she is now. She looked around at the novices and gave a small smile and thought
~They have no idea how long and hard it is going to be to get to master.~
she then started to try and dry the tips of her arrows from poison and thinking what type of beast/monster there have her fight this time and sighed heavily,
"This would be so much easier if magic wasn't forbidden in the arena...I hate not being able to use it..."
-
Suddenly she's grabbed by her flaming shoulders, jolting her to a stop. Whoever grabbed her wasn't getting burned; she knew who it was. She grins as she turns around, the barkeeper, Keahi, being the one behind her. "And I thought I was late." She chuckles. "Well, work went longer than I expected." He says, sliding his paws down her still flame-covered arms and holding her paws. "Then there's no need for me to hurry home and make dinner then." She smiles at him and returns her body to its normal state with no flames. "No need at all, baby." He says and kisses her forehead, then turns her in the right direction and puts an arm around her shoulders. She puts an arm around his waist and walks home with him.
-
She lent against the door frame of the arena whilst sitting on a barrel, as she watched the people walk around in the streets and she listens to the clicking noise the claws of somefurs who don't wear shoes hind paws as they cam into contact with the stone flooring.
-
runs around in the rain, looking around she could see that she seemed to bet hte only one who enjoyed it, she loked around again unsure of wher to go
-
She snorted. "What does it matter. No one's ever heard of it anyway and probably never will. Ever heard of the warrior Cenet?"
-
Keeps her ears perked so she could hear her Ring named called, if it was even gong to be called on this days.
-
Flames frowned. "It sounds familiar, but I can't say I have. Why?"
(Sorry about not being online lately. I've been ban from my Wii for a week so I won't be online much as this computer is hard to get ahold of)
-
(Stuff happens.)
She smiled. "She's my mother and trainer. I was sent here to find someone to bring back with me when the time came. They said he/she was fox about your height with gloves like yours. They were pretty vague on everything else."
-
"When the time came?" Flames asked, his pace and expression having not changed at all despite the possibility that he would have to be sent off again to a different world.
"The wind is ever-changing, its course changes over time, as does its flow. Destiny is not a straight line, but an unidentifiable ripple of descisions and emotion..." He thought to himself, musing silently.
-
She picked up bits of what he was mumbling and the smile disappeared. "True, most anyway. You're to come back with me to my home. We need you to help us make our planet one again." She paused, face darkening for a second in frustration. "If you are who I'm looking for."
-
"Does it really matter whether I am the person you're looking for or not? Regardless of whether I am wanted or not..." Flames voice took on an unusaul tone as he continued: "...I shall do everything within my power to help, alone or with the person your people want..." Flames smiled confidently before he realised that his voice had changed. The curse he had recieved had already activated. "Umm...do you have a spare top or something? It seems an old curse of mine has come back..." Was sll the Anthro said, gesturing towards her now clearly female (and topless!) body. "This is why I hate it when it rains in other worlds...!"
-
She looked down and grinned, pulling one out of her bag, holding it just beyond his reach. "You need it? What curse?" She teased, giggling.
-
Flames looked somewhat irritated as she replied, making sure to cover her chest: "In some worlds I have a curse where I transform into a female version of myself. Whenever I'm out in the rain, or I'm feeling tired and cold, I change, although there seem to be other things that change, too. I can usaully go back once I dry out and concentrate enough, but that drains a lot of energy. Now are you going to let me cover myself up, or do I have to continue giving all the males a show?"
-
decides to shuffles by were the others were, not knowing if she should be there or not
-
"fine, here. You're no fun though." She trembled a little since the rain was soaking into her skin through her midnight fur. The crimson markings were glowing. "Don't bother about returning it, I got a few more just in case." She smirked, handing it to him and purred quietly at the warmth of his hands. "My world we don't wear clothes, I thought they didn't anywhere else either since we have fur but I guess I was wrong." She ducked her head in shame and shrugged.
-
"So why'd you leave the tavern so quickly?" Keahi questions her as they walk home. "Too many outsiders..." She mumbles her response. "You know, baby, you've really got lighten up about them. They aren't that bad and I get a lot of profit from them which goes towards us." He says, pulling her closer with the arm he has around her shoulders. "I know. Some of them aren't that bad, but sometimes I just feel like I'm suffocating when there are so many of them around me." She says, staring at the ground. "It'll be alright. You'll get used to it. You're just not around them as much as I am." He says reassuringly. "Thanks, Keahi." She looks at him and smiles. "Your welcome, Koleyn. I love you." He says, looking back at her and smiling. "I love you too." She says and gives him a quick kiss before continuing to walk.
-
Finds out her next fight is in 4 days, sighing heavily she got up off of her barrel and looked around before running off, starting off as a light jog but soon became a sprint, Because she though she might as well train more in the time being. She passed a few furs who she had seen in or near the tavern earlier, she tried to make it look like she wasn't looking at them, but found it hard to do so seem if she has seen someone she has seen before she tends to look at them for awhile longer then normal to make she it is.
-
"Thanks, it's not your fault for not knowing." Flames said, blushing slightly. It would probably be for the best not to talk about her actual gender and whether her mind's gender changed or not. She had spent two years trying to sort her 'problem' and identity crisis. She was as close to accepting it as she'll ever be, although it is still annoying. "In my world the other two races wear clothing and we were simply expected to do the same, especially as we're the minority by far. You occasionally see a bare-chested male, but that's about it. Where exactly are we headed?"
-
Skidded a little because of the wet flooring and nearly lost her balance
"I hate the rain so much....Always gets in the way of training"
she mumbled as she was peeling her clothing off of her fur and rang it out before flattening the now crinkled parts of the bits she rang out, and her silk black hair was plastered against her face as the ends dripped with salty rain water.
-
"To Cyras, the town I was talking about. I've got some things to pick up and then we can head to my world. It's a hop, jump and a skip away." She smirked, gently brushing his cheek. "You're not blushing, are you?" She teased, giggling.
-
"Maybe I am, maybe I'm not..." Was all Flames said, picking up the pace. Curse or no curse, she hated the rain...
-
"It's nice when it rains." She mumbled, sliding her arm around his waist. "You should be proud of yoursefl. At least you don't freak when you flip back and forth." She groaned in pain then shrugged.
-
"I don't flip _anymore_, you mean." Flames corrected. "And that's only because I learnt to accept that we all have both a female and male half. In any case, it might be good idea to pick up the pace, especially if your people need aid..." She trailed off at this, not really having else to say. The raindrops sparkled for a brief moment before impacting the earth and scattering everywhere.
-
she 2walked beside broken n flames for a bit then sighed and let the rain drops collect on her eyelashes
-
still running round and with out warning she slipped on the wet floor and landed on her behind, sighsing heavily and just sits there looking round
"Why do I bother to Train in rain?...."
she asked herself before getting back up
-
Her eyes narrowed to thin slits of purple as a crushing wave of pain pounded her skull. "Ooh, not again..."
-
"Hey...Are you okay? What's wrong?" Flames asked, clearly showing great concern, yet remaining oddly calm.
-
"I'm fine. Just a headache is all."
-
"Of course..." Was the neutral, cool reply. Flames continued walking along, keeping an eye on her. Flames would never admit it to anyone, but her female form was a lot more comfortable to stand, walk and sleep in. It ached less and was less scarred from battle. She preferred her male form when it came to exercising or if she'd been female for almost a month, but there was something so calming about this form. Perhaps it was because she accepted the curse, in a way?
It didn't matter. What mattered was that Sam was in pain and was most likely lying about her 'headache'.
-
Her fingers slipped in their grasp on flames' waist as she started to fall backwards, biting her lip in anguish.
-
Flames caught her just before she hit the ground and hefted Sam into her arms. "Try and remain still whilst I ease your pain..." Flames told her softly, worry in her eyes but calmness in her actions. She held Sam in one hand as she placed the other on the suffering fur's forehead. Flames mouthed a few words in an unknown language, using up her Ki to transfer some of the pain from Sam to Flames. It had not worked too well, but some of the pain had been shared and the actual problem shouldn't be quite as major. Flames gritted her teeth, enduring the agony they shared, and carried her, keeping her firmly in her arms. Flames had to get help......
The wind was silent and cut people's eyes like a frozen blade...
-
The pain lessened and her body stiffened. "I have a secret, Flames." She whispered, chest flattening.
-
Flames expression never changed, her eyes never shifting, her tone remaining calm yet full of emotion: "And that is?" She asked as she hurried back to the tavern or anywhere else where they could find help and a bed.
Flames had a pretty good idea what the secret was, but it was best to be sure about things, especially if was something painful.
-
Comes through the tavern door dripping wet and slightly bleeding because training, she stood at the bar and talked to the keeper of the tavern about getting a room for her to stay in.
-
"My moods flicker and my body changes between male and female like you do...But with one exception, I can't change back until I figure out what made me change..." She sighed, clenching her hands in pain then straightened up, standing shakily. "I'll be fine in a second. Let's keep going." She said through clenched teeth, annoyed with her ever changing emotions.
-
"If you're sure that you're okay......Seeing as your being honest with me about your curse, I'd best tell you a little detail I had neglected to mention in case you would worry. Seeing as you have your own rather problematic curse, I'll tell you. Remember how I said going back to male required a lot of energy? That was a major understatement. The last time I had this curse, turning back into a male was enough to bring me to the brink between life and death. Because I couldn't change without killing myself, it gave me a lot of time to 'deal' with being female, hence why I've accepted the curse. If I ended up stuck forever as a female, I would be relatively fine with it..." Flames shrugged her shoulders at this and continued walking. "Does it cause you such pain when you revert to your other gender too? If so, warn me when it hapoens so I can ease your pain a little, okay?"
-
He shook his head, grunting. "No, it only hurts to revert here."
-
Gets the keys to a room and put them in her pouch before going off to her room and dressing up in her assassins clothing and going back out silently
-
"We've lost some time and I'm in one of my moods, so why don't we run there?" Flames asked, a glimmer of concern just barely visible in her eyes still, although it wad mostly blocked out by the fire burning within the iris as she spoke.
-
"Sure." His voice grew deeper as the final part of it eased into place. "Now that I'm a disgrace. This is why I don't wear clothing."
-
Flames cocked her head to one side as she spoke: "And most people think that the male to female transformation is more painful." She shook her head. "They obviously haven't felt a female to male transformation whilst wearing female clothing. That's why I don't wear underwear anymore." Flames gave Sam a brief look of sympathy before breaking into a steady jog, her *ahem* assests reacting in a somewhat comical manner to her increase in pace.
-
She looks at Keahi and smirks. He looks down at her and raises an eyebrow. "What're you smirking at?" He asks. They were only a block away from home and she felt like having some fun. "Race ya!" She says and sprints off. "Oh no you don't!" He sprints after her. Both of them become covered in flames as they run. She reaches the door first and pauses to open it, then he runs in past her. She shuts off her flames as does he and she looks down. "Nice try, but you know I'm faster than you." He says. "Well, it was fun while it lasted. You hungry?" She asks. He shakes his head. "Yeah, me neither. I'm tired." He nods at her statement, so they go to bed.
-
"I don't think I could walk in like this, Marie'll murder me..."
-
"Then we'll have to wait a while longer..." Came the calm response. How could anyone remain so calm throughout yet still express emotion?
-
His calm stayed even though he was really ticked.
-
"I'll have to help you control your problem later. Your changing emotions and painful way of transforming suggests that part of the curse can be altered to allow for better control over yourself and your inner pains. A raging fire can only destroy everything for so long. Eventually it'll either burn you down completely or be put out. Only then can the suffering end..." Flames muttered, losing awareness of his surrondings for a moment or so.
-
"Yea, and my name's Samantha Samuel Richards." He growled, annoyed.
-
"Excuse my general behaviour and attitude; I'm terrible in social situations. I hope that I haven't offended or angered you at any point. When you've spent too much time fighting a war alone with limited contact with other living beings, you tend to be less able with others..."
Flames mentally kicked herself for babbling so much.
-
"No, you haven't." he smiled, laying a hand on her arm assuringly. "You're very sweet to care."
-
"Sometimes 'being sweet' isn't enough..." She said, staring into space with half closed eyes. "Besides...What are friends for?" She smiled again before thinking about protection should anything happen. She didn't need her armour that much as most if its features only worked back home and she was far more swift without it. As for weapons, her hand-to-hand was rather good right now and the two weapons hidden in her baggy trousers helped put her at ease.
-
Comes back to the tavern a few hours later with blood on her clothing and a pouch of money
-
He glanced around and sighed. "Well, Marie'll have to deal. i can't waste anymore time here than we already have. We've got a week to return or they give up and seal us in here."
-
"Very well. Lead the way." Was Flames' steady reply. This should be interesting...
-
He nodded, straightening up to walk briskly into the forlorn town. The sound of pathetic baying reached his ears as he winced. "Keep close to me. You don't want to be alone this hour of the night." He murmured, sliding his arm around her waist again. He glanced around before picking her up. "I'll keep you safe until we return to normal."
-
Looks at the time before running back outside with her sword and pouch of money, She headed to and old abandoned tower, leaning against the old oak door, head down, tail flicking behind her silently as she waited in the darkness of the night, only lit with to small candle lamps.
-
Flames got a faint blush at this as she replied, still with no change to her calm tone: "Thanks, although I assure you that my safety is not an issue. If I can slay a demi-god and go 64.987 times beyond the point of death without sweating, safety isn't much of an issue." She made no comment towards him putting his arm around her waist, although she was a bit red in some places...
-
"Are you blushing again?" He teased, kissing her cheek. "You're cute when you blush either way." He hissed at a pair of crimson eyesat her right and tightened his grip. "She's mine, Malcom."
-
"Nani?" Flames asked before mentally kicking herself and asking again in English: "What was that all about?" Flames may have died before, been hurled through time and space, and defeated numerous evil tyrants, but she was a bit oblivious at times...or appeared to be so she could confirm whether her judgement was correct or not. With Flames, who knew?
-
sighs and looks around
"Where the heck is he?....He later then normal"
-
"Nothing. Don't worry about it. Stay close." He warned again, licking his lips nervously.
-
Flames obeyed, keeping their bodies close. She didn't like the atmosphere. It was the sort she would expect before a battle of some kind...
-
growls as it has been way to late so she walks around the area alone and bored
-
Flames' mind wandered again, although she remained focused on her surrondings. She missed home, although she couldn'f return. Why did life have to be so complicated? "Because it wouldn't be any fun if it was simple." Replied part of her mind. Maybe she would settle down soon, get a real home and a real life, instead of randomly travelling and fighting...maybe...
-
She passed two furs, and quickly put her head down she her face was covered by her black hood. If she looked up a little a pair of emerald green eyes could be seen slightly glowing from the shadow her hood cast down over her face.
-
His eyes narrowed more as snarls erupted all around them.
-
"This is getting irritating. Maybe I should show these punks a thing or two..." Flames thought to herself before whispering into Sam's ear: "How are you doing? If you need these people to disperse a bit, just say the word and they'll be gone." Her tone was still tranquil and neutral, making it hard to determine whether she was being serious or not.
-
after she had passed the two furs she took a quick glance over her shoulder, sighing with relief and letting go of the money pouch, which she was only holding still because her amount of money was odd for someone like her.
-
A pair of multicolored eyes appeared in front of them as a pure white tail lashed back and forth. Sam clenched his claws, trying to stay in control of his anger as he whispered back; "No, it's fine. These are people I know. They used to be friend before they started losing food. Now they challenge guests I bring around here. Like I said, stay close and you'll be fine." The snarl in his voice grew louder as the intelligent eyes came closer, rising to above his height of seven foot two. "Besides they like feisty women." He smirked, brushing her hair out of her eyes.
When the eyes were six inches from Sam's face, they slowly brightened as the light from a street lamp illuminated a white face with a black slash through one eye. The dragon roared, silencing the creatures surrounding them. "Good evening, Samuel. Or is it Samantha this time?" It sneered, clicking its teeth together sharply. Sam's eyes narrowed to tiny silvery slits at the jeering. "Good evening to you as well, Maxim. How is your wife? Or did the Furless Delta take her too?" He sneered back, tightening his hold on Flames. His tail was wrapped around her waist as well.
The dragon burst into laughter, yellow teeth dripping with venom. "Have you got me a pet this lovely night, my firend?" As his tail lashed, another pair of eyes appeared, sliver like sam's. "Ah, Serena. come here my dear. Meet your mate."
-
as she walked along she bumped shoulders with a pure black wolf, She looked up quickly and smirked as she saw who it was, she put on an angry looking back and snarled
"Hey! Watch where your going next time..."
the wolf looked up but didn't turn around, a small smirk spread across his muzzle as he turn
"Aww is the little drake mad at me for being late?"
he joked as he held out his arm and gave another grin. She snickered slightly and hugged the wolf tightly and nuzzled into his chest
"Nah I could never be mad at you, Canis...But you could have at least tried to be on time...Dont forget I only see you once every year. "
-
Sam's snarl grew louder. "She is NOT my mate! You killed mine, you worthless bag of bones!" He screeched, throwing his arm out and connecting a punch to the bone dragons' jaw. "I never knew anyone named Serena and I DON'T WANT HER!!! LEAVE ME ALONE, MAXIM!!!" He roared, kicking him in the stomach as his nostrils flared in aggravation.
-
Flames was rather irritated herself. First this Maxim creature refers to her as a pet and now he had hurt Sam. Flames struggled to keep her own temper in check, repeating a mantra in her head to stay in control: "Spirit of Fire, Soul of Ice, Mind of a Calm Breeze. Transform the rage into energy."
She suddenly appeared in front of the dragon, holding an orb of Ki in her hand, aimed directly at the dragon. "Sam, give me one good reason not to shoot."
-
"Because he didn't kill her on purpose and he's just trying to make me happy." He replied crossly, eyes still narrowed. "I don't need any other responsibility, Maxim. I have enough already since Pop died. You know that I can't stay with you any longer than necessary since we both have to keep our respected worlds in check,. Remember that when you think I want to visit." His tail slid to the ground in surrender as a short, midnight fox stepped hesitantly into the light. Maxim smiled in victory. "Yes, this is Serena. Cute, is she not?"
Sam glowered at the bone dragon, wishing he could slam his skull into the wall until it became ashes. "Yes, she is. Serena, come here. I'll take care of you if you promise to behave and you can leave whenever you get tired of me." He murmured, holding out his hand.
-
"Very well, I'll leave this to you as you know what to do." Flames said, still not dispelling the Ki, as she addressed the dragon. "If you get in my or Sam's way I'll treat it as a personal challenge and blast you into the 2nd dimension." At this the Ki phased back into her body. Being ridiculously overpowered had its advantages.
-
He groaned, annoyed with the dragon as the fox whimpered and stood beside him. He reached over to pull Flames over, growling a challrnge at the eyes still watching them. "Call off your pathetic guard dogs, Max. I might come back to teach them what it feels like ti tick me off, shall I?"
-
Flames gave a few people *cough*Maxim*cough* a cold stare before reverting to her calm manner as she stepped slightly behind Sam.
-
she wondered what to do nxt....sorry g2go
-
The wolves backed up at a grunt from Maxim. Sam relaxed as the fox walked over to stand behind him. As he relaxed, his chest rose and grew. He was becoming female again. "Oh good Seros...Why can't one or the other stay?"
-
"I'd say it's because the powers that be enjoy your irritation and discomfort." Flames said, a very slight sign of amusement on her face, although it was lighthearted and Flames was mostly sympathetic with Sam.
-
He growled under his breath as his chest fell into the male part again. "Good. I'm fine for now." The fox looked fearfully at him, afraid he was going to turn into a monster and eat him. He pulled them both close and hugged them tightly.
-
Paw and Canis start walking back he way paws had originally come from
"So, what took you so long to get here?"
Her eyes started up and Canis' face with a wondering look
"Oh you know...Little Drink in a tavern and a few pub brawls here and there"
Canis gave an innocent grin as paws give him one of her sly yet suspicious looks
-
"Probably not the best of times to ask, but which form do you prefer?" Flames asked. "As I've never met another like myself, I'm curious to know your opinion on the subject. You don't gave to answer if you'd rather not..."
-
He smiled, "Whichever form is best at the time." His tongue lolled out of his mouth as he panted. "Wooh, its hot out here. Let's keep going so we don't die of thirst, eh?" He joked, letting go of them both.
-
"Interesting..." Flames said quietly, continuing to follow Sam. She might have found someone like her at last, it would seem. She didn't show any sign if feeling the temperature. She was ready to help, to fight and to die if need be, especially for someone like Sam...
Flames' mind froze for a second at the picture that was being painted in her mind. She considered it before rejecting the mental image. She would never do such a thing, never betray someone's trust like that...never...
-
Luna and Canis keep on walking down the path paw in paw, laughing and smiling about what had been going on since the last time they met
-
He smirked at her stopping and winked. "Whatcha thinkin' about, hm?" He teased.
-
An Anime-esque sweatdrop appeared very briefly on the back of Flames' head before vanishing as she replied, her face calm and casual: "Nothing specific. Just a few random thoughts..." It wasn't a lie after all. Where was this place they had to go to anyway? It didn't matter, but Flames was feeling...aprehensive. Her fenale state of being was slightly more vulnerable, in more ways than one. It wasn't that she was missing being in her male form or anything similar; it was just...
-
A picture of flames came up in his head and he shook it away roughly. "Bad thoughts.." He growled.
-
"Eh? What was that?" Flames asked, Sam's short growl bringing her back to reality, where her thoughts held no power, unlike her actions.
-
"Nothing.." He replied, speeding up a little as they came within sight of a rundown shop.
-
Flames shrugged and took in the details of the shop:
It seemed somewhat old, almost like something from a bygone era, being so rundown and overrun by plants, rust and dust. It seemed to almost avoid the light, casting slight shadows around the edges, shifting ever so slightly, so slight that one could barely see the shadows quiver...
-
He stopped beside the door, glancing around. "In here, quick!"
-
Flames' figure vanished, reappearing a split second later within the building. It was quiet now, but for how long...?
-
He sighed, glad they were hidden. As he scrounged the floor for his gun, he heard a giggle. "Alright, come out Maira. It's not polite to peep on me." He ordered in a gruff voice, reaching behind a carton of old newspapers to pull a giggling ball of fur out. "How long have you been waiting for me?"
-
Flames was generally a patient person, who managed to keep her calm. Even so, she felt like doing some training or slicing something to bits. All of this uncertainty and these irritating surprises, not to mention the earlier events, had left Flames in a peacefull, collected and "totally ready to kick butt" mood.
She mentally grabbed ahold of herself as Sam grabbed a ball of fur which was giggling uncontrollably. What now?
-
"Nothing!" It squeaked, swinging back and forth. Sam growled in annoyance. "Maira, stop that and uncurl. I need you to find my gun." The ball slowly became a baby squirrel. She giggled agian, licking his face. "I waited all weekend for you!"
-
Another anime-esque sweatdrop appeared on Flames' head as she struggled to think of a strategy to help Sam. She came up with nothing and continued to stand there, looking around briefly.
-
He wiped the slobber away and glanced at Flames, looking cross. "Stop playing, I need that gun!" He growled, dropping her in the crate. "Come find me when you retrieve it."
-
Flames' figure vanished once more, as she swiftly searched for the firearm. Spotting it suddenly, she clutched it tightly for a moment before speeding towards Sam, giving him the weapon. Flames didn't use guns and probably never would, the exception being the concealed blaster she had, which had always been more of a keepsake then a weapon, and didn't count as a gun anyway. If she couldn't use blade, body, mind, environment or spirit to fight, then you were screwed and a gun wouldn't be if any use except for escape. Still, to each there own and Flames couldn't deny that the weapons were effective...
-
He took the gun and picked Maira up once more, thanking Flames as he stuck her in his pocket. "Stay and keep your ears peeled."
-
Flames gave a quick nod of acknowledement before she moved her hand to where her energy-blade, the X-Sabre, was being concealed. She doubted she would need it, but it comforted her, reminding her of times past...
"No! I've got to stop wallowing in the Past. Honour the Past, Live the Present and Forge your own Future..." Flames thought to herself, most of her mind still concentrating on reality instead of her own wandering thoughts.
-
"Maira, where's that box I brought in last week? I hope you didn't do what I think you did." The fox was snickering in his left pocket. "I put it in the storage room and waited for you. Like you told me to.!"
-
(Where is everyone? It feels like only us who still post here, along with Luna Paw on occasion...)
"Do you want me to search the area for it?" Flames asked, unsure of what to make of the dialouge between those two.
-
after leaving her friend she heads back to the Arena seeming she only has one day left till her fight,
so she was going to see if she could stay there the night so she wouldn't have to travel around so much.
-
"No. It's fine, long as I know where it is." He shoved his hand into his pocket where a confused squeek was heard. "Behave."
-
(( I only post sometimes because No one talks to me. ))
Ends up staying at the arena for the night, training her tail off, seeming she has to fight a shade...She grabs a book and starts to read it so she can find out what type of weapons do the most damage to a shade.
-
(It's a shame that our seperate storylines don't meet up. Maybe we can figure out a way for the storylines to come together?)
-
(( that would be a pretty cool Idea ^^ ))
-
(Even if for a brief time it would be great to see more interaction. I'll have to ask Sam, but perhaps something we need went missing and it can be won at the arena, thus bringing us three together. How does that sound?)
-
(( Sure But all you get at the arena is money...and Then When you become the grand champion after like 3 years IF you defeat them, You get lots of money, a trophy, a certificate to say you can come back once a week to fight a certain beast of your choice and Something very very very valuable))
-
(Sounds great to me.)
"Some men came and took it away for an arena tournament... I dun 'member where they went!" She squealed, shivering in his pocket. She knew what would happen. "That's wonderful, Maira. YOU LET THEM TAKE THE BOX?! HOW COULD YOU?!!!" He thundered, annoyed beyond measure. "Did they say where they were taking it?" She peeked out of the pocket and smiled. "Yesh, they said....Something arena..."
-
Decides to try and strengthen her punches and kicks, seeming Magic is forbidden in the arena. She starts to box using a punch bag being held by one of her friends she made at the arena
"So How long have you been training for?" Night asked as he looked at her
"I've been training *pant* Non-stop for 4 days" she said as she did a root canal kick
"You know, There are these little moments in time, where you sit down. There called Breaks, Maybe you should take one" said as if he was talking to a young child
She gave Night an evil glance and a slight smirk
"I'm not a child hehe"
she gave the wolf a light punch on the arm, and he returned it.
-
Flames placed her hand on Sam's shoulder. "It's okay, I think I may know where the box is. I remember hearing about an intense fighting arena in the last town. Apparently the grand prize is something of 'great value and importance'. We better set off again..." Flames said calmly, trying to cool Sam's anger and share infomation. A spark of fire lit in her eyes and you could almost see what looked like an aura surronding her as she added, with a confident grin: "Besides, it's about time we got something to release our emotion upon!"
-
after training she went and got a drink, also a little bite to eat before getting her sword, bow and a few arrows together, before sitting down and tipping her arrows in poison, as she murmurs to herself
"This is it...Last fight...before the huge fight against the Grand Champion in a weeks time...I've been in the arena for 3 years now...I can do this..."
-
Sam's annoyance grew more at the change his body was making. "Jeez...Would you pick one already?!" He snarled, brushing Flames' hand off. "Now that I can wear pants, do we get to go to the arena or sit here and argue all night?" She asked, furious she had to keep switching back and forth.
-
walks over to the others two and walks with them
-
"Go to the arena..." Flames said softly, looking down at the ground, saddened that she had probably caused Sam to change again. She then mentally kicked herself for being so weak, wallowing in sorrow and sympathy instead of solving the problem. Suddenly filled with renewed vigour, she stood tall and looked Sam deep in the eyes, a raging inferno shining out as she looked at her, before saying in a 'determined to beyond death' tone: "Sam...I'll find a way to end your suffering with your curse and help your people...Even if I have to endure another century of torture and die multiple times, the curse will never hold such power over you!" She clenched her gloved fist for a moment, unaware of the huge amounts of Ki energy manifesting around her, forming a spiralling aura. "Sam..." She said confidently, as the Ki span and she became a he. "I won't dissapoint you or break my promise...Because friends would give everything they have for one another, right?" The aura remained present for a moment as the leftover Ki was absorbed back into the place from whence it came. Flames just stood there, his words still being heard, like an ominous echo. His promise...
-
after getting completely ready for her battle she sat down in the little room just beside the door that lead into the actually fight arena. She could hear blood curdling howls and screeches, Screams of pain and suffering, She gulped hard and closed her eyes, taking deep breaths through her nose and exhaling them through her mouth, Just to try and calm herself down before going to fight two Griffins.
-
She nodded solemnly. Her eyes widened back to normal and she pulled the tiny squirrel out to sit her on her shoulder and stroke her head reassuringly. "There, there. I'm not mad at you and it's my fault you are in trouble. I should have locked it. I'm sorry for snapping at you." She murmured, kissing the kit lightly. She turned her head to look at flames as well, nodding again. "Thank you. And yes, they do." She leaned forward until their muzzles almost touched then licked the side of his and nuzzled him affectionately.
-
Flames didn't know quite what to make of this, but it made him feel...warm...content and ready to do anything. He just nuzzled her back gently, softly sharing the warmth. He may have been clueless about things like this, but he now knew one thing: He would do all that he could to keep her happy with life, protect her life with his own and ensure that the bitter cold never reached her heart...
-
~ Oh and Sabre is out for the count...To bad...He'll have to spend a few days in the Medical wing...But Next Up we have *sound of rustling papers* Dragonheart~
she perked her ears up as she heard the announcer call out her ring name, She stood up and took a deep breath and shaking with fear, Facing the door she felt a paw on her shoulder so she turned round a found it to be Night the Wolf
"You can do this. You've won every fight so far. Good Luck"
Night pulled her close and gave her a tight hug, before bowing and taking he's leave. She smiled slightly feeling a little better about her fight, so she stood at the ready again and pushed open the old wooden door, stepped out in to a cold blood stained corridor, and up to a bared gate which led into the arena. She narrowed her eyes and stared across the dusty floor at the gate on the other side, seeing Two Dark brown griffins, she gulped hard, adjusted her armour, and got her weapons at the ready
~ Ladies and Gentlemen, Please put you paws together and Welcome to The Arena, A 3 year combatant, DragonHeart!~
With that the gate to her compartment slid down and she came walking out, trying to make herself look confident and strong as she stood on the concert platform in the middle of a huge dusty arena floor as the crowed cheered
-
She perked her ears then leaned into him, smiling. "We should get going but I like how we are right now..." She murmured, the smile full of content.
-
"I like it as we are too." Flames said with a warm smile, before pulling Sam slightly closer to him. "Besides, I can get us there pretty quick..." He leant closer to her face and whispered into her ears: "...If you don't mind me whisking you away in my arms, that is."
Emotions are powerful and when such a greatly positive one is produced between two such individuals, the results are truly astounding...
-
She giggled softly, purring. "Sure."
-
the crowed hushed as the Announcer spoke once more
~ And Today...She'll be facing Two Griffins...Each have never had their talons clipped, So I wonder who this fight will go...If there are furs in the crowd that have weak stomach my want to leave the stands now...I can guarantee there will be blood shed here tonight...But from who?~
she suddenly felt her stomach sink as she turns round to the sound of the griffins gate slowly sliding down and the griffins screeching and growling
-
Flames gave her a quick grin, adjusting his gloves slightly as he spoke: "Just give me the word and I'll redefine the word 'fast' for you." He stroked her fur gently, moving his fingers smoothly in an almost artistic rythm, taking care to apply just the right amount of force.
-
Her fingers curled around his waist, securing herself to him. "Ready." She whispered, burying her face into his fur and breathing in his scent as her heart beat faster. No one had been as close as she had allowed Flames to become.
-
Flames made sure that Sam was secured to him, his mind a jumble of thoughts during the last moments before he ran with her. Part of him was asking why he had gotten so close to someone when he would only end up hurting her. A segment of him was unsure of what lay ahead as another part of him wished for this new, strange emotion to never leave him...The thoughts vanished as Ki flowed through his system and he took off.
It was unlike anything that be called 'running'. Flames was floating slightly above the ground, his limbs blurring as he left multiple afterimages behind. A great blast of wind was felt as they flew through the air, the edges of the visible world falling apart into a smeared painting of colour. Flames feet occasionally impacted the ground, propelling them foward once more. Nobody could tell where they were headed, but to say that Flames was taking the long route would no doubt be correct. The exhileration seemed to last an eternity as it peaked in the last split second before everything suddenly sharpened back into focus and they appeared in front of the tavern of the previous town...
-
When they stopped, she opened her eyes and leaned back; a gigantic smile plastered across her face. "That was cool. Can we do it again sometime?" She asked, leaning up to lick the side of his muzzle teasingly once more as fire seemed to leap from her to him at the touch. "Like it?" She teased, pulling back.
-
Flames just nodded twice, a familiar colour becoming apparent on his features once more. "We should rest here for a bit and retrieve more infomation about the arena." Flames said normally, before giving Sam a little wink and saying: "Besides, you look like you could do with a good back massage to release some of that leftover stress."
-
Samantha grinned. "You sure its not because you just want to touch me?" She teased, licking his muzzle again. The fire leaped once more, burning hotter. "Either way, sure, why not?" Her fingers brushed where he was blushing and she stroked his cheek, laughing softly.
-
The griffins were let from their cage and came leaping at her, she readied her sword, swinging it and out of Sheer luck, managing to slit ones throat, she got covered it some of its bluish blood (made the colour up) and it feel motionlessly to her feet, but she was to busy looking at the fallen on in front of her seeming as it was way to easy to kill one, that she had forgotten their was another griffin. She Heard a loud blood curling screech, she looked up quick only to be swiped round the face and pinned to the floor by the Black and white remaining Griffin, Her sword was Just out of reach so she had no way of damaging it. She struggled hard to try break free from its strong scaly footed grasp but failed to do so so she kicked it hard in the stomach with both her hind legs and managed to make it jump enough to roll out from under it. Quickly stumbling to her feet and grabbing her sword, holding it at the ready as blood ran from the left side of her face which she was slashed, and also had blood stained arms where the griffin had dug its un-clipped talons into her.
-
"I can assure you that my offer is merely a gesture of kindness and that, as attractive as you are, I would never do such a thing...yet..." Flames replied with an affectionate smile as he stroked her softly and walked alongside her to the tavern door. There were battle plans to form, infomation to harvest, practice to execute and many other things that had to be done...but they could all wait...
-
After her battle with the griffins she limps back to that training centre of the arena, her cheek bleeding from a the claw marks, her stomach and arms also bleeding from the same thing, her fur covered in Blue griffin blood, but more of her own crimson blood. Dropping off her weapons she limps over to the tavern clenching her wounded stomach because of having a talon go quite far into her and trying to stumble up to her room.
-
Flames noticed the wounded fur and quickly turned to Sam: "I'll just be a moment, okay?" before offering his hand to the fur, silently asking her if she would like assistance. He knew those eyes, as they had caught his gaze when he had last been here. She seemed to be a fighter and probably knew a great deal about the arena, although Flames was concentrating more on her wounded stomach then on who she was.
-
Looks at the fur who is offering his paw, her two toned eyes scanning him slightly before gritting her teeth and clenching her stomach more, as she can feel the talon that got left in her digging into her stomach as she breathed.
-
Flames didn't say a word, simply supporting her and half-carrying her to where the rooms were, concern present in his features.
-
feels really woozy from blood lose and tries her hardest not to fate as she looks from her room number, whilst the fur was helping her.
-
Flames noticed where her gaze was and opened the door to her room. He placed her down gently on her bed, remembering that he had promised not to take too long. She seemed to be losing a lot of blood too, which gave him all the more reason to hurry. Thankfully he was still full of energy, which he probably had Sam to thank for, and this was shown as he vanished, reappearing a few seconds later with a good supply of medical equipment. Medicine and health wasn't his forte, but he knew a few tricks. He poured positive Ki into the wound, acting as a rather unusual but pleasant painkiller. He then got to work, his fingers accurate in their movements despite his gloves. He removed the talon swiftly but in such a manner as not to damage her stomach further. The wound was disinfected and sealed off to heal as Flames made a last few adjustments, ensuring that the fur would have a rapid and relatively painless recovery. He increased the amount of Iron in her blood enough to allow her to regain her lost blood, but not so much that it caused any problems for the body, besides occasional minor pains.
The positive Ki faded and Flames cleaned up, ready to head out again...
-
still clenching her stomach she looked up at the fur who had just helped her
"Thanks..."
she said weakly before falling back on to her bed and just laying there staring at the ceiling murmuring to herself
"Next fight...Fight against the Grand Champion...After taking the 4 year training course the arena makes you take before this point is finally here..."
sighs heavily and then just keeps staring at the ceiling boredly
-
Flames couldn't help but hear her words as he departed, shutting the door quietly behind him as he went back to Sam, apologizing for taking so long.
-
sigh once more before getting up and walking outside the tavern to a near by lake, She sat down with her hind paws in the water, swaying them gently as she hummed a soft tune and looking at the reflection of the moon in the water.
-
She dusted her paws softly, licking them clean as Flames came back. While he was apologizing, she was snickering. "It's alright. You don't have to apologize. She needed help." She stopped snickering long enough to kiss his cheek then went right back to it.
-
Flames, upon hearing the snickering, immediately executed Emergency Response Plan Number 489: Turn an even deeper shade of red before getting a room and blush more when you realise there is only one bed...
-
"You're funny. So we have to share a bed? This ought to be fun." She giggled, prodding him playfully eith her tail.
-
Sadly, it was at that moment that a minor leak in the ceiling unleashed its downpour onto Flames, catching him completely by surprise, so much so that he didn't resist the change and became a female, although his reaction to Sam's comment probably had a part to play too.
"Uhm...now that we're both girls I suppose it would be okay to share the bed, right? Or would you rather I try and change back, seeing as I'm so full of energy lately...?" Flames scored a 9/10 on the cuteness meter as she spoke with just enough embarrassment, shyness and general cuteness to earn the 9/10. The slight twiddling of fingers just helped push her into 9...
-
Sighs heavily and thinks being alone and cold makes her seems so worthless and unwanted by everyone... but she feels if she is with others that she bores them, and she isn't good at talking to males seeming all she wears is baggy shirts to hide her chest and baggy trousers, also she always have s her silk black hair put up in a pony tail or a bun.
-
she spread out her wings and looked out dreamily at the stars
-
sighs and goes back into the tavern sitting in the corner by herself with a glass of elderberry wine
-
Samantha shrugged, leaning towards her. "Whichever works for you, I could change too, ya know." She whispered, smirking secretively.
-
Flames blushed again and avoided Sam's eyes as she spoke once more: "It's fine like this, I guess. I don't want you to change just for my sake..."
Flames stretched and yawned a little before going an even darker shade of red, turning around and getting undressed. She didn't have any night clothes and preffered to sleep naked in her female form anyway...
It was going to be an interesting night...
-
sighs after finishing her wine, Getting up and placing the empty glass on the bar with two pieces of gold next to it, before heading to her room for a bath
-
She shrugged her shoulders tiredly again and stripped down as well. "What a lovely day to sleep naked." She giggled, laying in the middle of the bed and smiling innocently at Flames. "What?" She asked, placing her arms behind her head and breathing deeply.
-
Thankfully Flames had been expecting this and barely blushed, although her eyes were avoiding everywhere on Sam apart from her eyes. She tried to relax a bit and scolded herself for still being so weak-minded in this area...
-
Strips down to her fur and steps into the bath, sinking down in the water so her head and her tail which is hanging over the side of the bath can be seen, as she relaxing in the comfortable heat of her bath.
-
"Oh, did you want to share the bed or sleep on the floor?" She questioned, smiling wickedly. Her eyes roamed over Flames unintentionally and she could feel her cheeks burn. "Come over here then. Push me away if I get to close, eh?" Her crooked smirk grew wider and she whistled.
-
Flames' resolve hardened as she calmly entered the bed, still avoiding Sam's body as she got comfortable and shifted her body into the right position.
-
after bathing she gets out, dries off and slips on a vest and hot pants, before grabbing her katarnas and starting to practise, hoping she doesn't annoy people with her little fighter/swords women noises and the clinking of her blades
-
"Jeez, I know I'm repulsive but that's too far." She grumbled, rolling as far over on her side as she could and pulled the thin sheet over her chest. "Good night. I might be sleeping on the floor since I disgust you so much." She huffed.
-
"Menya! I didn't mean it that way!" Flames exclaimed, trying to get Sam back to her original position. "I just didn't want to be seen as a pervert...Or would you rather that I 'admire your form'?" Flames added, her tone more serious than sarcastic.
-
Swings one of her katarnas and wasn't paying attention to where it hit and ended up getting it stuck through the door
-
She shrugged and pulled further away. "No, it's fine. I can handle it without your help." Sam growled, sitting up and falling out of bed with a thump. Her breath wheezed in and out of her nose as she clenched her fits in pain. Her chest was shrinking and her feminine features were becoming more masculine. She groaned again, suffering another wave of pain threatening to make her black out before she could relax.
-
Flames had started to become very aware of when Sam changed, but remained silent, fearing that she would cause further harm with her dumb mouth. She really wasn't any good in situations like this...
-
After a minute or two of silence, he straightened up and yanked Flames to his naked chest. "Shh...I'm sorry I flipped. I didn't mean to embarrass you." He whispered, petting her hair.
-
growls as she wraps both paws round her blades handle, both hind paws on the door as she started to pull her blade, a few moments later a crash and a whimper could be heard
-
"It's my fault." Flames said softly, stroking Sam's fur gently. "You don't have to apologise. I was being silly, after all, we were both female at the time and it's not as if we both haven't seen both genders nude before..."
-
"It was my fault for pushing you. I'm sorry. I..." He stopped, clamping his mouth shut before he said something he would regret. His purple feline eyes scanned the room. "Let's go to sleep and talk in the morning, ok?" He asked, picking he up gently and carrying her over to the bed once more.
-
Slams open her door and runs down the hallway, leaving a trail over blood seeming she cut one of her paws when she managed to get her blade out of the door, also whimpering
-
Flames simply nodded in reply, basking in the strange warmth she felt before closing her eyes and breathing deeply. It felt like forever since she had slept and all would be dealt with in the morning...
She suddenly heard a noise from the hallway but didn't open her eyes, trying to decide whether to leave the bed or stay...
-
He lay next to her, arms wrapped around her to keep her safe. Ignoring the noise, he snuggled closer. "Flames? Hey, love?" He prodded her a little then decided to leave her alone, laying his head on her neck and breathing in her wonderful scent. "God, you smell good." He murmured.
-
Leaving a trail of blood behind her, she runs off to the lake, her vest and hot pants covered with a few specks of blood, She knelt down beside the lake and she dips her paw and wrist into the ice cold water of the crystal clear lake, watching it slowly get tinted red in some places around her paw and wrist, whimpering softly as she silk black hair hung down either side of her muzzle, which has tear stained cheeks
-
Flames heard Sam's words and drifted off, telling herself that everything could wait until the morning...
She really hadn't truly slept in a long time, let alone like this...
-
sighs has she knew she would have to take off the bandages the where wrapped around her chest, which she really hated to do with guys around, but she unwrapped her bandages and wrapped it round her wrist, she looked down at her chest and sighed once more before getting up and heading back inside, and as she walked back through the tavern she heard wolf whistles and comments about her body, all because she took the bandages off of her chest, Now she remembers why she hated doing it so much.
-
In the morning, Samuel woke to find himself a female once more. She looked at Flames and nudged her gently. "Wake up, honey. It's time to go." She murmured, kissing her cheek softly.
-
Flames quickly woke up, doing a few gentle stretches and a short yawn before literally leaping out of bed. Her body faced Sam, who had also gotten completely up and gave her a cheery "Good morning!" before realising that they were both female, naked and facing one another, their bodies on clear display for one another. It took a lot of willpower, but Flames neither turned away in embarassment or stare on in perversion. Her eyes lingered on Sam perhaps a tiny bit longer then they should have...
-
Luna Sat on the bar talking to the owner of the tavern, occasionally having to turn round and look at the eyes who keep eye balling her and wolf whistling, She let out a long sigh as she wishes she had more bandages to wrap round her chest. She ordered a drink and sat at a table, staring at guys who kept looking at her.
-
"Nice to see you're in a good mood! Why don't you shift back and we'll head off?" She giggled, keeping her green eyes level with flames'.
-
she sat at a table by herself near the door, still in her nightwear.
She sits staring at her bloody bandages wrapped round her paw and
wish she hadn't started practising inside of a wooden tavern.
-
Flames, after sorting herself out and grabbing some clothes, looked Sam in her eyes, ruby and emerald, crimson and green. "I'll give it a shot, but I don't know if I still have enough energy..."
Flames shut her eyes and concentrated hard, charging her Ki. Nothing happened. She tried again, trying to remain calm yet determined. Still nothing. She growled softly and tried again, remembering her promise to Sam and the 'warmth' they had shared...
To Flames' surprise, she became a he with only a little bit of energy. "Let's go and get some infomation about the arena..."
-
sits thinking about what her next fight at the arena will be like,
because it is her last fight before the fight against the Grand Champion.
She keeps staring at her paw, still wishing she never done what she did.
-
At his deep voice, she sighed and melted into him, becoming a part of him as she walked beside him out of the room. "It feels good to be awake again. Did you sleep well?"
-
"Yes, I slept rather well. How about you?" Flames spoke in a casual tone as they headed towards the bar area in the tavern. If memory served, the fur he had helped yesterday was a major fighter in the arena and could probably help them out a bit...
-
Was sat tapping the table to help her see, due to her being blind and can only see when there are vibrations in the air, that is why she is often seen tapping her foot on the floor a little or tapping her sword blades together when she has them in the holsters
-
She shrugged a little and sighed again. "I guess so, you were there after all." She paused, rubbing her arms. "You're warm!" She said, giggling and pulling on his arm gently.
-
"I'd be worried if I was cold...especially considering what you did in your sleep..." Flames said with a shrug and a grin, approaching the fur from yesterday...
-
Grumbling about his inability to take a hint, Samantha placed his arm around her waist and put her own around his. She walked with him towards the fur and held out her hand, making the motion too fast to see so she could feel the wind. "Why is it you cannot hear us?" She asked softly, smiling pleasantly.
-
her ear flick up quickly as she heard foot steps and she stops tapping the table, she raised her head as she got up, her pale grey eyes wondered and her facial expression as a shy, cute sweet look as she has never met the fur offering her paw, and is a little to shy to speak.
-
"I'm sorry, I have not introduced myself. My name is Samantha. I was sent here to find some things and need to fight in the arena, apparently..."
-
Due to the vibrations being sent through the air when Sam spoke she could see her, but not in colour, she folded her arms across her chest as she heard another wolf whilst, before saying shyly
"It's nice to met you...My name is Luna...And what is it you need from the arena?"
her pale eyes scanning the room a little and the occasional clink could be heard as she tapped her sword holsters together
-
Samantha thought for a second. "The prize for the champion. It was mine to begin with but my guard let it be taken away. She's not very good." She replied, putting her free arm in her pocket quickly to keep Maira from making a sound.
-
looks up at sam and thought for a while
"10 days time...I have my fight against the grand champion...If you like I could help you get the thing that you need...I only need the prize money to help keep getting food, shelter and supplies for myself"
-
Flames remained silent throughout, letting them sort everything out first. He would ask questions later and simply listen for now...
-
"Ok. That'd work. Would you like help with food or anything?" She asked, glancing at Flames and raising a brow.
-
shakes her head
"I can manage on my own with food and stuff. I get most of my money from the Ki...I mean...Taking care of people thing I do and the arena"
-
"If you're sure then." She stepped back and nudged Flames, raising her brow higher.
-
"How are you holding up from yesterday? I'm sorry I couldn't do a better job, but health & medicine was never my strong point..." Flames' voice broke the silence, as he stifled another yawn.
-
gives a shy smile
"Im doing better then I was...Thank you"
with saying this she hide her paw that was bandaged, and growled
as she heard the drunken men talking about her and wolf whilsting.
-
Flames noticed the drunken men and felt his anger rise slightly all of a sudden. He glanced between Luna and Sam, his eyes asking whether he could teach them a thing or two...
-
She turned her head at the voices, lips pulled back into a nightmarish snarl. Her muzzle rippled, becoming a fiery red color; along with her ears, tail, paws and chest. She crouched on all fours, issuing a warning hiss before springing on one of them. She growled savagely, slashing at his chest and ripping his shirt open. She had just enough self control to keep from ripping his heart out like he deserved. "Make any more noise and I'll rip your heart out and feed it to my pet." She snarled, pulling Maira out of her pocket.
The squirrels' body shimmered and she grew to the size of a full grown tiger, white fur and black striped. She had two ribbon-like whiskers that trailed out from her bottom lip with a ball of electricity connected to each end. She smirked wickedly, lips pulling back in a frightening snarl. No sound came from her open mouth. The two men were too afraid to move. She crouched down to the ground like she was bowing and roared.
Samantha smiled as well, the expression more terrifying on her face since she resembled them. Her claws extended more and she slashed again, narrowly missing his chest by a millimeter.
-
"As much as I hate to interupt, that's enough." Flames said calmly to Sam. "You've probably just took a few decades of their lifetimes and scared them almost all the way to death. I don't think that they are much of a problem anymore...Feel free to rough up them up a bit more if you want..."
-
sighs and runs up to her room, the bell hanging from around her neck helping her see, and crouched down in front of some draws in her room and rummaged through it to try and find more bandages, There was stretches all over her room walls, the sheets on her bed where dragged under the bed, there was a bloody blade on the floor from when she sliced from her index finger to about 3 inches below her wrist.
(( I gotta go cause I have school later today O.o (1:30 in the morning) ))
-
She snarled at him, only seeing the interruption, not Flames himself. Her eyes narrowed further and a savage roar ripped through her maw. "Leave me be." She hissed, pushing him back. The tiger leaped forward and nipped the second humans arm, creating three clean puncture wounds that fountained blood. "We are done now, let us leave." She replied, patting Maira on the head.
-
Keeps going through her things to try and find bandages, not caring her room looks like she as been attacked, but hasn't and doesn't care there is a bloody sword on the floor.
-
Flames was torn between his options. On the one hand, Sam seemed to have stopped and the men had deserved it. Then again, she was dangerous at the moment and might lash out at someone suddenly. He also had to consider Luna and the remaining people in the tavern. Flames knew he would have done something similar had he be given the chance, although he probably would have restrained himself and not done as much damage. Probably...
Flames sighed and chose option #302401: Talk to Sam and get her back to her normal state before hastily leaving to catch up with Luna and possibly give minor medical aid to the drunk humans. If Sam couldn't be communicated with, Flames would use pressure points to knock her unconcious and bring her with him...
He mentally groaned as he thought about how he would regret this plan in time to come, before executing plan #302401...
-
She managed to find a bandage but it wasn't long enough she sit crawled on to her bed and curled up in the very corner of it, pressed tightly against the wall and head board, and she hind her wounded paw, Leaving her room in the state of an attack scene with some blood splodges about the place from her training and the blooded sword more or else been kicked over near the draws which gave her a slight cut on her hind leg
-
She looked about nervously and Maira became a squirrel once more, hiding in Sam's pocket. Samantha patted her soothingly, he fur going back to black.
-
Stays curled up tightly in the corner of her bed, hiding her wounded paws.
-
"Are you better now?" Flames asked Sam, concern in his eyes. "I'm going to check on Luna...She seemed troubled when she went upstairs..."
-
She nodded solemnly. "Yes, much. I wish those idiots would learn the first time. They never do." She sighed, stroking Mairas' cheek soothingly.
-
she got a little cold and crawled under her bed where her quilt and pillow where dragged, and curls up in the corner with only her tail peeking out
-
"And I think it would be a good idea for us both to go. I want to help her out." She widened er eyes until they were normal then walked up to Flames.
-
Flames nodded and headed to where he remembered Luna's room to be, leaving behind the frightened people still cowering in fear...
-
Still curled up under her bed in the corner, Hoping that people who pass her room don't make to much fuss about all the chunks off wood missing out of things and scratches everywhere, plus some blood from injuries
-
"Holy FireWind..." Flames uttered upon seeing the blood everywhere. "Is there something you haven't told us, Luna?"
-
She peers out from under her bed shivering slightly
"There Only Training accidents. Where I can see where I swing my sometimes because there aren't any vibrations in the air, So I Injure myself."
She sits on her bed, folding her arms across her chest and she tapped her foot on the floor to see the furs who have come to talk to her.
-
"I see." He said simply with a nod before coming closer. "Now let me have a quick look at your wounds..." He requested softly, looking at her paw in concern.
-
-Hides her hind paw under the bed and holds out her bandaged paw which was cut pretty bad from when she pulled her blade out of the door
"Its nothing really..Honest"
-
"It's nothing, she says..." Flames said, rolling his eyes and sighing before getting to work, healing her in a similar manner to how he healed her yesterday when she first came in...
-
She sits and watches what he does does as she hides her hind paw more
-
Samantha caught the hind paw and pulled it out roughly. :twitch: "You refuse help and are hurt. Don't tick me off." She growled, nudging flames urgently and showing him Luna's hind paw. "She's cut up pretty bad. I'll see what I can do but she'll have to heal on her own for the most part.
-
Flames mumbled something about increasing her healing rate through Ki-aided pressure point/muscle therapy, nodding to show that he had heard, very focused on his work as his hands became blurry from the speed, yet maintained his control as he removed any small dust or dirt particles from the injuries before working on sealing them shut perfectly. It required a lot of concentration, he noted as he tried to temporarily shift the way her body worked, so as to accelerate healing and the replenishment of blood...
-
"I'll be back in a minute. I've got to do something real quick."
-
"Okay, I'll see you soon..." Flames replied to Sam before making the finishing touches, looking slightly worn out for a few seconds. "How is everything now?" He softly asked Luna, some concern in his eyes once more...
-
-clenched a paw to make sure it felt okay and smiles slight, and says shyly
"Its better, Doesn't hurt as much any more"
(EDITED: To Make Some Sense )
-
"That's good to know." Flames said with a slight sigh of relief. "I was worried that I might have made some mistakes and thus made you worse..."
-
"If you have I'm sure we'll know in a few minutes or hours"
Is still acting shy because she is not used to talking to other furs
-
Flames sighed and shut his eyes. "Only time will tell, I guess..." He said, trying to keep his tone somewhat neutral. A minute or so passed... "Is there anything majorly important about the arena I should know?" Flames asked, opening his eyes and wondering what Sam had gone off to do...
-
looks at where she heard the furs voice
"Only that it takes three years of one fight per every other day, except when you you get close to the big monsters, then its a 2 fights a weeks. Also Magic is not allowed to be used in the arena"
-
Samantha returned some time later and knocked gently on the door, not wishing to interrupt anything going on between the two. "Uh, Flames?"
-
"Heya. Come in." Came Flames' voice from within the room as he pondered on what Luna had said...
-
"Can we talk privately? For just a second?"
-
-uncrosses her legs and places a hind paw on the floor carefully, tapping and looking around, before getting up, and going over to her draws, she picked out a pair of dark pants and a dark short sleeved shirt, before quickly going out somewhere and coming back a few moments later fully changed and ready to go to training
-
"Sure thing." Flames replied, looking rather peaceful. "What's on your mind?"
-
scratches and clicks her tongue "wher am i?"
-
Gets up and goes out to the lake, stripping down to the closes thing to a bikini and getting into the water, and ever since what had happened in the tavern not as many guys were wolf whistling at her, but they were still looking at her, which she didn't mind as much seeming she couldn't see them, when she's busy practising her combat styles
-
"Well, I was wondering what we're doig here, other than flirting." She replied, staring at him.
-
after training, she places her swords on the lake bank and then goes for a swim
-
((yay))
fattens herself down on the sand and watches he girl do some swimming, whishing she could join in
-
(( Maximum...Im at a Lake...Not a beach...There is NO sand ))
Swims up to the waterfall and goes through it to see what is on the other side
-
((bleh))
taps her fingers on the floor boredly
-
continues to swim around in the lake
-
hums a lullaby and wonders what to do next
-
"Do you really want me to answer that?" Was all Flames said, smirking slightly. "We were gathering info and resting, but now..."
-
comes out from behind the water fall and swims back to the bank, before getting out and walking back in to the tavern in only her underwear (both parts).
-
"No we weren't, you were flirting. And don't hide it. Go ask her out already." She teased.
-
"Huh? What are you talking about!?" Flames hastily said back, his cheeks returning to red once more.
-
She giggled madly, teasing him was fun. "I was just teasing you."
-
walks up to her room still in her underwear and dripping wet, also humming a kinda of lullaby to herself
-
Flames didn't reply, but looked around, blushing heavily. He was silent as he tried to regain his composure. What was wrong with him...?
-
"Wow,. you're so much easier to mess with than most of the stuck-ups here."
-
flops on her bed and just lays there in the light on the sun shining through the window
-
"...Perhaps..." Flames said with a slight smile. "As much as I hate to halt such an interesting conversation, I think it's time we actually got something done today..." Flames tried to pick the words carefully and keep a neutral tone.
-
after drying she decided to dress in a Bar maid outfit and then put her hair up, before walking downstairs and goes behind the bar, seeming she has to work today.
-
asks for a large bottle o relentless and then chugs it down
