Hello all members, I would like your help confirming if I am a furry or not. I do find some furry art attractive, I do sometime act out or think like a cat. I have been known to purr,paw or nuzzle someone. I have never wanted to wear a suit or anything, but..can you help me?
I am very embarassed and nervous about this, so please be gentle.
There will be no discussion of sex on these forums. Please reread through the rules before further posting.

Being a furry doesn't have to mean wanting to be inside a fursuit :P
It simply means liking anthropomorphic characters. How far you take it is up to the individual.

It could be an odd Fetish. But if you really feel close to Anthropomorphic characters, you probably are a furry.
It depends on what you like exactly.

Well, i've had help..and..i've been confirmed to be a furry, perhaps not as big as others, but I am one none the less.
So uh..I welcome myself to the fold?

Gilgamesh, only you can decide if your a furry or not, no one else can make that desicios for you. Their are a lot of ways to define the fandom out there and as such you need to come up with your own version of it and decide for youself, look deep in side yourself and ask 'Am I trully a furry?' It doesn't matter what the answer is, you can still stay on here, we believe in putting our best paw forward and accept humans as well as members of Furre. That said welcome to the forum

Exactly how I felt. But I discovered that there is more to being furry than fursuiting, or that other *wink* stuff. You have to get the info, form your own conclusions, and decide what it means to you. Go here for more details.

I might as well throw in my opinion. Listen to what everyone has said so far, remember that the true defination of furry varies from person to person and that, generally speaking, "someone who likes Anthros" defines most furs, although you can add to it and go a lot deeper :P
In any case, welcome to the FF.
