A new world was discovered, Tallequilla, but what lived among its thick jungles were a mystery. A group of scientists decided to use the world as an experiment and create many new living organisms. During one of the experiments, a chemical spilled and caused many different sorts of mutations. The group was never found. The only remains, or trace, of the scientists was a nearly destroyed Laboratory. A decade later, the world became inhabited. Cities were formed among the jungles and spaced out across the world. The Kingdom ruling this new world, has yet tried to figure out what is causing many disappearances have occurred since the construction of the cities. Parts of the cities are unlivable due to the strange happenings, and the cities have fallen hopeless and confused. The jungles hold surprises beyond the living imagination.

Finally arriving at the space-port, Jorinal gets off his 'escort' ship, only to meet another group of soldiers, who were going to escort him towards the Kingdom's Court, to stand trial once more before starting his new 'job'...
"I finally get here, and I'm already being treated like a criminal..." he jokes, before a soldier butts him in the back of the head "You have the right to remain silent, and nothing more.."

I entered the city of Traskin. "It seems to be clear here sir." I said holding my finger to my ear piece. I continued to walk around the empty streets, "Everyone is in their homes." I decided to check the perimeter around the city. A sound ruffled in the bushes a few meters ahead of me. "Did you check around the perimeter?" the voice on the other end asked, "I'll get back you." I said turning off the head piece and retrieving my bow, readying an arrow. Suddenly a small armadillo rolled out of the bush. "Oh thank god, It's just you..." I said lowering my bow. Turning on my ear piece I answered, "All clear." I slowly entered the cities gates once again.

I head to the space landing platforms to ready the 'criminals' that had just arrived. "I'll take the Dragon to the court." I ordered my soldiers. They stood beside him as I approached. "What are you here for?" I asked commandingly.

Jorinal smiles when the new General adresses him. "Apparently I have to attend to my trial here, defending myself over a barfight with the previous General" he said with a chuckle.

Getting off the army dropship, Gabatus walks over to the space platform, seeing an officer with a group of prisoners, he runs over to investigate.

Philly runs out of his home and down the streets towards the space platforms. "I wonder who is on trial today. I love a good trial."

"Oh, so I'm positive you'll get off easy," I joked, "He had a short temper. I'm in charge now." I said standing in front of him. I scaled him with my eyes and looked at him. "So, what is it that they are putting you up to doing?" I asked.

"And what have we here Ma'am?"

"Either death, or just re-instate my previous sentence: being the head of the expidition team for the jungle on this planet...either way, not a pretty outcome" Jorinal replied, motioning towards the 'key' on one of the guards thats slowly being un-hooked on its own...

Walking up to the prisoner reaching for the keys, he grabs his hand stopping him "No chance of you escaping"

"That's General to you..." I said turning to the new soldier. "And who might you be?" I asked. I motioned my soldiers to stand next to the dragon and to hold him. "We'll have none of that now.." I said grinning at him. "You can work for me... You'll be helpful" I said before turning to the soldier. "Sir, I'll have to ask you to keep your hands off my trial persons."

"I would be more happy if I could have my tools back, my right wrist is feeling a bit naked without its 'Pipboy'..."

"Give him his Pipboy. I'll take care of him from here." I ordered my guards. "You try to run, and I'll be sure to do away with you myself." I confronted him.

A dragon slinked off the ship and watched the exchange between the general and another dragon. Her golden eyes regarded them with mild interest, barely acknowledging either of them. Her tail stayed wrapped around her leg as she flexed her hands, wanting nothing more than to break the hand-cuffs she wore.
"Excuse me...." She said in a polite, gravelly voice.

"That's General to you..." I said turning to the new soldier. "And who might you be?" I asked. I motioned my soldiers to stand next to the dragon and to hold him. "We'll have none of that now.." I said grinning at him. "You can work for me... You'll be helpful" I said before turning to the soldier. "Sir, I'll have to ask you to keep your hands off my trial persons."
"My apologies Ma'am but I am not under your jurisdiction, I am Sgt. Gabatus of the National Army Reserve, Special Operations unit, 7th Division, or the 'Lucky Sevens'" letting go of the prisoners hand he stands back ready for a rebutle

"Yes ma'am" he replied with a smile, and then looks at the other dragon. "Yes?"

"Well your on my planet, so I recommend listening to me." I said looking at him. I quickly looked at the female Dragon. "What do you want?" I asked, as my soldiers stood by her side. I nodded at the male dragon but kept my eyes glued on the female.

"Yes Ma'am I apologize for my disobedience, but I am under command of General Strumn, I come from off world with the detachment he sent down here, I receive my orders from him only, one of which is to know why people are disappearing?" he asked,

"That's my business. You're on my turf now, and you will be answering to me. You general has a problem with it, then leave." I said releasing the male dragon and taking off my leather gloves. I slowly turn and walk away, the male dragon by my side. "Sir, I'm obliged to ask your name."

"Jorinal, until I was placed on trial for my 'crime', I was going to be elected as one of the scientists to head here, although from what I heard, the trial is a mixed blessing"

Saluting his new commander, Gabag walks off on patrol for anything suspicious. "Any sign of what's making people disappear?" he asked tapping into the local vox network.

I looked back at Gabag. "Front and center! You will know soon enough. Night is falling..." I said smirking.

"Oooh...will there be a fight?" Jorinal asks, almost jumping up in excitement..

"Not quite..." I said looking at my new recuit. "So what is your name? and your age my dragon friend."

"I already said my name, and my age is 23, but my 'actual' age should be around like 16 or 17...the human age doesnt really apply to me that much..."

I looked back at Gabag. "Front and center! You will know soon enough. Night is falling..." I said smirking.

"Ahh, Sorry about that Jorinal. Alright, well you are to be my right hand man. Understood?" I said looking at him. I look at Gabatus. "Are you coming or not. We need to patrol."

sighing, he walks over,wondering how someone who isn't even in the military gets more attention then a staff sgt who served in a war.

"B..But...my trial" Jorinal stated with a very good attempt at 'puppy-dog eyes'

"You still want to go through with it? I mean, you can if you want... but that's your choice." I said confused. I stopped waiting for his answer.

"Well, I can't get all of my tools back until its over, and I doubt my mental abilities can handle more than one adversary..."

"Who said you needed to go through trial? Did you forget... I'm general. And your doing your time by joining me..." I said looking at him. I looked at one of soldiers who was motioning the time. "Well, you can do your trial and stay here, or you can come with me..." I said quickly.

Tears appear in his eyes as his hopes rise "Can I come with you, please?"

I smile warmly. "Yes, Of course..." I walk next to him. I signal my soldiers to stay where they stood. "You can trust him..." I say to them.

"So, where can I get my stuff, still havn't gotten my 'Pipboy' yet..."

I wave to my soldiers as a blue armored guard approached Jorinal. His effects were brought to him as the Soldier handied them over. "There, you better now?"

Hearing a weird moaning sound, followed by a screech. "Ehh Sir, is that what we're expecting to find?"

Jorinal puts one the 'Pipboy', puts the emp away, and slides 'Wrath' into his left belt loop "Ready for duty General" he replies, giving a crisp military salute.

My ears twitched as I darted for the door. My eyes went purple as I followed my telekinesis. "Just around this corner" I shouted my bow drawn. They suddenly came upon a dark ally. A pair of large red eyes were glowing in the darkness, as the stench of blood filled the air. I pulled back an arrow and shot it at the beast's skull. "Got it" I said quickly turning on a flashlight and looking at the puddle of blood, and what looks like a mutated porcupine, crossed with a snake, and eagle. "What the hell?" I said stepping backwards slightly.

"What, this isn't Earth General, don't expect to run into the same creatures" Jorinal stated, walking over to the body, and taking a sample from the carcace, only to put it in his Pipboy for scanning. "General, it may looks like a bunch of Earth creatures in one body, but none of its DNA matches up with the database, can I dissect it?"

"Captain, I know what is and isn't earth like. Don't tell me what I should expect." I corrected him. "My soldiers will take it back to the lab. When we finish patrolling the area you may do what you wish..." I said slowly walking away from the puddle. "Contact me if you need my assistance." I said tossing him an ear piece. "Use it.."

Seeing another creature he opens fire with his boltgun, blowing off limbs and spraying the kind captain in blood. "Focus on the task at hand, you almost died"

Everything's clear up here. I'm coming back. I walk back and find a limbless beast. "Alright... Who did this and didn't clean up?" I asked, fuming. "The citizens here can not know what lingers in the jungle..."

"Oh that mess, was my handiwork, it just tried to eat your valued Captain when he was doing his scientific research"

"I sense a bit of hostility in your tone... Is there something you want to share?" I said looking at Gabatus. "Well, I'll get my soldiers down here to clean. As for you Jorinal, You must keep your guard up."

"Your not a soldier, but a simple scientist, and I'm a veteran of the Phyrric War, dont think you know how to treat those lower, besides I'm a Sgt. learn to read the rank patch."
Looking at the General he says "We should get experienced troops on the field, not help fund a fanxy shmancy rock find and biology class go and do the work"

I look at Gabatus. "I didn't choose him for no reason. There will be a reason, soon enough. Don't think I just decided to find a random 'criminal'." I started walking towards the Palace.

Heading back from the streets and to the Palace, Jorinal takes deep breaths, noticing the looks hes getting from soldiers who notice all the blood spatters on his clothes and scales I probably should have been a bit more sanitary with my fighting, but its too late now... He thought as he searched for Rowan.

I waited for Jorinal. "Hey, over here." I wave to him

Jorinal smiles sheepishly and walks over to her "Sorry about my earlier attitude, losing rank and being reassigned to a seemingly annoying job, plus being treated like a prisoner upon landing, leaves little room to vent..."

"Hey, I never said it would be fun..." I smiled. "I'll show you too your room. There are SOME advantages to being with me..." I walked down a large hall and opened a room not to far down. Inside was a large bed, bath, and other furnishings. "Does this work?" I asked turning on the lights.

The dragon snarled and turned to one of the soldiers. "Bring your general back. I would like to speak to her." She growled, sparks jumping between her fingers as agitation grew. Her tail uncoiled and flicked back and forth in a nervously agitated manner, slapping against her leg every now and then.

Philly jumps up onto a fence and runs along the top until he reached the palace. "I'll probably be condemned for breaking into the palace, but I have to know what's going on" he thought as he pulled out his dagger and ran a good ways up the wall, before stabbing it into the wall to get a boost. After managing to get up the wall, he jumped down into the garden and sneaked up to the closest window.

The soldier took hold of the dragoness's arm. "Come with me." He said sternly leading her to the palace. I awaited at the gates. "Is this the one?" I asked the guard.

Jorinal walks over to Ro, then looks at the dragoness and smiles "Hello again!"

I look at Jorinal. "You know this dragon?" I asked pointing to her.

"No, I saw her before I left with you..."

"Ah..." I said nodding. "Well, she requested to see me... for what reason I'm not sure of yet." I crossed my arms and leaned against the entrance way.

Sahar smiled. "Finally. I'd like to be given my affects and be released of these bothersome chains. I did not know it was a crime to board a ship with money to enter the new planet." She growled crossly.

"They must have thought you were my 'accomplice', being a dragon and all...funny how just being the same species is reason for suspicion"

"Are you sure that's what you were doing?" I asked, sternly. "Guard, what is her reason for being in chains?" The guard stood stiffly. "She boarded the ship without a ticket, and refused to get off." He said. "Ah, well retrieve her affects and let her go." I ordered looking at her. "Oh, and next time, the growling will get you in trouble." I stood straight and turned.

She saluted. "Yes, ma'am."

"You have your affects. You may enter the city now. Your record was whipped clean starting now." I said sincerely.

Jorinal looks in his 'Pipboy' "Oh damn, my link is screwed up..." I somehow got linked up to your database Rowan...do you usually take pictures of yourself?

My ears twitched as the sound of metal hitting concrete sounded off in the distance. My sensitive hearing alert, I looked at Jor, "I'll be right back..." I said, quickly turning and jumping up the large wall. I through myself over the edge and dig my large nails, covered in steel, into the concrete. I slowly make my way to a fox climbing the wall. "Hey! What are you doing?!" I shout, launching myself at him. I quickly wrap my arms around him and land on the ground before releasing him.

Eying the new arrival with curiosity, before investigating the sound. Gabatus runs up to the struggling fox and General. "and I thought there was nothing to do here."

I look at Gabatus. "You thought wrong." I growled still holding the fox.

Well stop looking it there... I'll attend that later. I replied struggling with the fox. "So, what were you doing on the wall?" I asked.

"I was trying to get my kite that had flown over the wall, that's all!" Philly said struggling with the general.

I turned him to face me. I noticed he was around my age as I released him. "Come on. Tell the truth now..." I ordered.

"Alright...I was curious as to what had been going on lately, so I thought I would come down here and see what I could find out."

"Are you part of my quadrant?" I asked looking at him. "I haven't seen you before..."

"Ma'am, I don't like being out in the open against the unknown, maybe we should go inside, or maybe I should get a flamethrower" Gabatus said while revving his chain sword

"Perhaps you're right. I suggest you come with us fox." I said grabbing his arm and leading him inside the Palace wall.

Seeing another creature, Gabatus fires his boltgun, the light from the gun flashing, revealing the vile beast. the thing itself was a strange crossbreed of a panther, and a cobra. Raising his chainsword he ran forward into close combat, blocking a lunging bite from it's fangs.

"Alright, just as long as you promise not to condemn me for trespeassing." he said

"Lets go!" I shouted grabbing the fox's hand and leading him inside the wall. "Jor, Beasts outside... I need to kill them." I said holding my ear piece.

Throwing the beast off his sword, he follow it up with a swift knee to it's head and a stab to the brain. It's struggles stopping, Gabatus puts his foot on the beasts head and pulls his sword out, pulling up brain matter and skull fragments.

"Don't worry, I will not condemn you... If you agree to join my group." I said still running.

Tapping into his vox set, Gabatus goes "Sir, it's all clear, for the moment!"

I stop after entering the gates. "So what's your name?" I ask looking at the fox. My hand still holding his.

"Thank you kindly,. I do not mean to sound rude, I just have a short temper and tend to be rather jumpy. My name is Sahar Silverfang, I am in need of a job."

Walking over,he sees the scientist playing his Pip-Boy, "He's probably playing Mario or something.... dang scientist" he muttered under his breath

"I am not arrogant, i'm Gabatus, veteran of five years, Special operations unit of the National Army Reserve, transferred here a week ago, and you must be the arrogant prisoner who thinks she owns the place, just like the other one..."

"Look above you before making such a claim" Jorinal retorted, as the corpse of the creature was being suspended over the soldier...

"Excuse me? I am not arrogant, you seem too full of yourself. I simply asked a private question. But, seeing as you are quite skilled with a gun, I'll leave you alone." She looked past him and snarled, running up to him and slashing at his ear. The lion/snake thing sneaking up behind him fell to the ground with a savage rip in its face.

"Ok I changed my mind, only the scientist guy is arrogant" secretly grateful he didn't die, but he wont admit it, at least not in the scientists face.

((DAMN!! I leave for and hour or so and I'm freakin left in the dust...))
I return with a male fox. "What did I miss?" I asked looking at the the group.

Riku slashed downwards, loosing a savage growl as he sliced another monster in two "Who else wants some?" Spinning, he decapitated a lion/bear hybrid. Sticking the sword in the ground, he swung around and drop-kicked a charging rhino/tiger in the side, breaking three of the beasts ribs. Walking over to the fallen creature, he snapped it's neck. Pressing on his ear he shouted into the ear piece
"Control! (static) -eed assistance, location (static)-orth, 33 west, this is (static) squadron, my (static) -m suffered (static) -y losses, I repea-(Monster roars, transmission ends). Riku was hit in the side by a tiger/crocodile hybrid and his earpiece fell out. Landing heavily on the ground, he looked up to see several of the beasts coming towards him...

Hearing the distress call, Gabatus sprinted towards the location, seeing a fur getting swarmed, he opens fire with his boltgun, felling the tiger/croc hybrid and wounding it.

My ear piece went off, "Stay here. I'll be back soon. Lt. Tripret, Come with me. I need your assistance." I said, before running out of the gates and running north. "He said north 33 west... Just listen for the sounds of beasts." I said pointing him in one direction. "I'll go this way." I grabbed my bow and readied it. "Where are you?" I whispered. I continued quickly through the thick jungle. "Damn it, we need those pipboy things... they would be so much easier." Soon I come upon a group of beast. "Gotcha" I said pulling back my bow and releasing 5 arrows, one after the other. I quickly pulled my sword, decapitating the two others. I quickly run over and grab Riku. "You doin' alright?" I said smiling slinging him over my shoulder and walked through the thick jungle. "Tripret. I got him," I reassured, "See ya back at the palace." "Sure thing ma'am." he responded. Soon they were back at the wall. I walked close to the wall, hoping to avoid any other beasts that night. A ruffling came from the trees. I quickly turned and pulled my sword. "Whose there?!" I shouted. Lt. Tripret stepped out. "It's just me Ma'am." he exclaimed. "Oh good... I thought you were another one of those things..." I said turning and continuing to walk to the entrance. As soon as we entered Tripret took Riku to the infirmary. "They'll fix you up nice and good. Don't worry." I said to him.

Rowan, I just finished analyzing the beast you killed, and this is amazing, body shots are almost useless, unless you aim for the head, any other areas will heal almost instantaneously, even major organs! "You, get the med-laser, I need to cut open the chest to get at the organs, and this healing ability is getting in the way!" Jorinal said to a nearby medic, who quickly responded and brought the device... If I can figure out how this works, it is very possible to not only repair broken limbs in moments, but even restore whole limbs! Jorinal exictedly 'told' his CO.

Dropping his empty clip, he clicks a new one into place, taking out his chainsword, he revs it and makes sure the 5 arrow'd beasts are dead. "What the hell is going on here commander, I'd like to know what i'm shooting at!"

"Jorinal seems to be figuring that out as we speak." I said looking at him ((you know we're back at the palace... right?))
I start walking to the lab where Jorinal was. I enter and smile. "I'm glad you enjoy this," I joke covering my nose and mouth.

Walking back to the palace, sporadic gunfire from Gabatus is heard, apparently he's having a jolly ol' time.

Riku growled and stood up himself, detaching himself "I'm fine, I just got ambushed while on patrol, my entire squad is dead...Now, If you would grant me permission to collect my weapon, General." He looked into her eyes. The pain and anger from losing his entire squad was clear in his eyes. He followed her towards the lab.
"...We tried to contact control while we were being ripped apart out there...we were abandoned sir...the only reason I got through was by using a broad frequency..They sent us out there to die sir.." He stopped, still looking her in the eye, a single tear rolled down his cheek as he remembered the screams of pain and terror as he and his men..his friends were set upon by the vicious animals. "...Why do you think an extra detachment was sent out?"

"Of course, but unless you want to be sprayed with blood, I suggest you stand back" Jorinal said as he revs up the med-laser...

I step back outside. "Riku, I understand your hurt. But I had no authorization for your squad to be out there. Who sent you?" I said looking at him as I held his shoulders.

Limping back to the Palace, Gabatus slumps against the wall, pulling a spine out of his shoulder. "I could use a little medical attention here...." he stopped after pulling another spine out of his leg "There's a lot of 'em out there, we can't get much done..." and with that he falls over, breathing heavily and quickly.

~a spray of blood hits the window~ "damn that was a big spray.." could be heard from inside the room as Jorinal went fishing for organs..

I turned back around at the sound. My eyes shut tightly as the sound. A pained expression overcame my face. "Anyway. Like I said, who asked you to patrol the jungle?"

(oh yea just totally ignore the fact that my GUY HAS BEEN POISONED AND IS ON THE GROUND WOUNDED!)
Slowly getting back up, Gabatus pounds on the door where the commander is and hopes someone come soon, cause the pain is rapidly increasing.

(You want to go into the blood-covered room to get a med-kit, be my guest..)
A few moments later, Rowan, Gabatus, and Riku get a transmission of Jorinal "two hearts, three lungs, three stomachs, either this thing was born to fight, or someone engineered this creature, because all I see inside this thing is the set-up of an 'attack-dog' creature..."

Riku lowered his head "I know...I know it wasn't you, and I am grateful for you saving me...I don't know specifically, I get my orders directly from control...they knew that location was infested...we were walking into a death-trap, and they knew it..." Looking away, he said "I have to retrieve my weapon, I will be back shortly, or not at all". He let out a howl and sprinted off in his feral form. Stopping at Gabag, he calls over to Rowan, "Command is betraying us...see? They ignore him...he needs help"

Falling back on the door, covering it with his blood, Gabatus responds on his vox "Yes yes the organs, how nice, but let me offer a reprisal, I"M DYING OVER HERE!!!!" he yelled into the vox at the top of his lungs. "IF YOU WANT TO SAVE SOMEONE'S LIFE BE MY GUEST!"

Jorinal looks around the room, taking out his earpiece "Well, anyone going to tell me why nobody is going to attend to the Sgt's condition....WELL?!" after getting no response, he puts it back on. A medic soon arrives to Gabatus, and tends to the injuries and poisoning, and two other soldiers that followed him are fending off the creatures...

"WELL ITS ABOUT TIME PRIVATE, WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG, TOO BUSY HAVING A BIOLOGY CLASS THERE!!?!?" he yelled at the medic, making the youngblood nervous, the two soldiers quickly get the message that they are INSIDE the palace, and leave.

I quickly headed over to Gabatus. "What happened?" I asked worriedly. I quickly backed away from him, seeing the blood. "I need some medal help!" I shouted. A pair of medics came over and lifted him, and helped him to the infirmary. "Get that poison out of him IMMEDIATELY!" I ordered.

I turn quickly and rush over to the lab. "What the hell HAPPENED!" I shouted. "And get him CURED!" I said. I crouched down, my head throbbing. "I shouldn't have agreed to handle this..." I said. Lt. Tripret ran over to me and helped me up. "Ro, you shouldn't have done this. It's too stressful." he said holding her close.

"ssssshk....yea, definatly manufactured, there was a biological bomb in the, ngh...liver, no casualties, maybe a few broken ribs and some expensive equipment, but thats it, oh, and theres nothing left to research..." Jorinal replied through the reactivated earpiece, leaving the now smoking lab...

I stand up at the sound of his voice. "Oh god... Are we done playing scientist now?" I said my head still throbbing. "You aren't bleeding... are you?"

As Riku passes By the creatures, he slashes at them with his claws, making them follow him out of the palace. Sprinting as fast as he could, he dodged the creatures that attacked him. After running for a while, he spotted his sword, stopping next to it, he realised he was surrounded by the beasts. Transforming back to Anthro, he pulled his sword from the ground and swung it into the body of an attacking beast, severing it's spinal cord. Looking up, he decapitated two more with a horizontal slash.
Jumping up, he ran up into a tree and jumped from branch to branch, reaching civilisation, he ran through the streets, trying to reach the palace. looking behind himself, he noticed the beasts hadn't followed him. Breathing a sigh of relief, he walked back through the gates, bloodied sword slung across his shoulder and his fur stained a dark red.

Jorinal stops and checks for possible bleeding, and when feeling the back of his head, feels a wet opening "Chri...*thud* Head scientist down, get him treated ASAP!...ssshk" *transmission ended*

I ran in and retrieved him. His blood smeared on my clothing. "Tripret. Take him now. I can't hold him any longer!" I shouted to him. Tripret ran over and lifted Jorinal and carried him off to the infirmary. I sat against the remaining wall of the lab and held my hands in front of me. The blood had soaked my fur, and clothing. "Oh god, get it off." I muttered as I began to cry.

Waking up somewhat from his venom induced coma, Sgt. Gabatus raises his head a little bit and says "Tradegy strikes, she is already dead but alive, dead inside but alive outside, go to her, and she shall be alive again, for we are the Guardians, and it is our sacred duty to uphold her life... on this I have no doubts, but only tears, for I am unable to assist" he muttered loudly enough to shock the whole med staff. It also just so happened he forgot to turn off his vox, so everyone heard it.

Sheathing his sword, Riku got a bucket of water and poured it over Rowan. Washing the blood away. But before anything could be said, he walked off into the barracks and walked into the shower room to clean himself.

Soaking wet, I sat there. My body quivering. "She loved me... and he took her. He protected me, and he killed him. Why them?" I kept repeating. My head buried in my arms.

Unclothed, he walked into the shower and switched it on, feeling the hot water beat off his body, cleaning the blood from him. Walking out, he dried himself and got dressed. Upon walking back out of the barracks, he noticed Rowan was still there. Walking over to her "hey, kid, you alright?"

"Yea. I am fine..." I saw a blinking out of the corner of my eye. "What the..." I said getting up and walking into the rubble. "Oh, his wrist thing..." I said picking it up. I began pressing buttons and opened the saved file. "Why does he have these?!" I said angrily. "Oh he's in BIG trouble."

Philly wonders around the palace unaware of where he was supposed to go. The general had ran off before he could get her name, or tell her his for that matter. He had determined that since he had nothing better to do, and because he didn't want to be condemned, that he would join whatever group she ws talking about earlier.

Getting a chill, she blew fire toward her back and rinsed most of the blood off. "What are you doing, General?"

Philly turned around and saw the General waving at him. "What is she, a wolf or a dragon?" he thought to himself. "Hi where have you been." he said towards her.

I smile slightly. "I was attending to some issues. So, who are you?" I asked walking over to him.

"My name is Philly, I don't have a last name either. It's kinda like the name Cher.....but anyways I'm just an ordinary citizen who was looking for some answers." Philly said hiding his dagger behind his back.

"A citizen eh?" I joked, "I'm General Rowan Tao. What kind of answers are looking for?" I asked standing closer to him. I looked him in the eyes, trying to figure him out.

Philly was nervous about her being that close to him. No female had ever been that close to him in his life. "Well...I'd uhhh, I'd like to know what the beasts that are attacking our city are, and where they come from."

Walking up to Philly and the general, still in armor, but now with numerous bandages over them, he answers "Those creatures are from the bowels of hell itself, or at least I think so"

"Now how would something escape from Hell, just to come terrorize us?" Philly said behind him. When he turned around though he realized who it was. "Hey you were in a war!"

"Sure, what do you need me to do?" A shallow cut near her left wing bit her nervous system and she winced.

Noticing the cut, he walked over and examined it "You ought to get that seen to in case of infection..but for now, hold still". Pulling out some antiseptic cream, he smeared it over the cut to keep it clean until it was seen to properly. "There, and because you're a dragon, I'm assuming you posses some strength? If so I'll need you to help me clear some of this rubble." Waving a hand five soldiers came to assist them "Right, lets get started, shall we?"

"Alright. Show me what you want moved and where, I'll do my best. I'm not infinitely strong, you know." She teased lightly.

I looked at Philly then Gabatus. "Not from hell, but from our own kind. Scientists about a decade ago, inhabited this world for experimental reasons and they created these hybrids. What they didn't plan on was that they would one day one of their creations would become far to powerful for control. Those scientists were never found. The only thing that remains as evidence is the Laboratory that is located deep in the jungle. I'm guessing that's were they are hiding. But they come here to feast, because what ever creatures first lived in there have fled or were eaten into extinction." I replied, my eyes now wandering to the gates. "Gabatus. Make sure they are closed before we all enter the palace. Please" I looked at him quickly.

"As you wish" he replied, then began to bark orders to the soldiers to close the gates.

"Thanks you." I said to him before he started ordering. "Let's get you all rooms." I said looking at everyone.

~A medical officer walks up to General Rowan with his head down~ "Lora's injury has been tended to, but until his body repairs the hole in his neck, he can't talk or leave his bed, yet he requested you see him..." ~The officer then heads back to the infirmary~

I nodded and looked at the others. "I'll be back soon... Your rooms are just inside. Gabatus will show you..." I said before quickly running off to the infirmary. Soon arriving, I approach Chrono's bed. The bandages on his body bloody. "Uh, Doc, could you covered them up... please" I said looking at him. The doctor quickly replaced the bandages with fresh ones and showed my into the room. "Thank you." I looked at Chrono. How are you feeling?

After ordering a soldier to give Philly his room, he runs down to the Infirmary to check up on the scientist. "Well well well guess that bomb did a number on you didn't it" he said, popping in, remembering his sworn duty to the General's uncle.

Heheh....well, the body was still functioning when I split it open, the heart was beating, the lungs were trying to expand, and the stomach was still digesting food, so the body can live without a brain. As my note said, the logos on the organs were relatively new, so I suspect that they somehow evolved into different genders, or someone is still making these things...I would have found out a way to easily kill them, but as you can see...

Seeing Gabatus, I stiffen. "Yes, He's badly injured. He cannot speak, nor move." I said crossing my arms. Still creating them? Who in their right mind would do that? Unless one of the scientists set the hybrids free... We will look into that later. I thought without looking at him. My gaze stayed focused on Gabatus.

Taking out a rag, he takes off a shoulder plate and begins to shine it, wondering what's going on between the two.

I quickly look at my hands and freeze. "Doc!" I shout loudly. He rushes in a sees the blood on my hands. "Come with my Madam." He quickly takes me to wash up. I return moments later. Sorry... It must have dried. Normally the smell gets to me. I frown slightly my ears back.

Riku had been tending to the other side of the wreckage and so was probably not seen by the dragoness. Heaving away, he lobbed parts of the wall aside to clear a way. Looking up he saw the dragoness walking towards the palace. Running so he caught up with her "Excuse me miss, but where are you headed?" He inquired politely.

I looked back at him. "Well yea, The chefs prepare anything. Its gourmet here." I smiled after looking ahead of me.

I say opening it as a waft of scent enters the hall. "Hello, Gaston. What do we have today?" I asked resting my arms on the counter.

Gaston raised his head and smiled. "Well, we have the best of the best fillet. We just got them in. Care to have one?" I smile and look at Jora. "Want one?" I ask looking back at Gaston. "I'll take two please" I ordered. "Right away ma'am." He quickly got to work, the other chefs also helping.

Jora just held his head on the counter, waiting for non-soy food to arrive.

Gaston placed the fillets on the counter. "Here you are Ma'am" I take the plates and walk to the dining room. "Thank you Gaston. Come on Jora."

Jora is already at the table, with the fork in one fist, and the knife in the other. Fooooood is all that his mind says.

I finish my food quickly. "Happy?"

Walking to the cafe, with one of the spines that was in his arm in tow, he intends to show it to the sciency guy.

I looked at him. "I suppose." I went back to the kitchen and got one more Fillet. "Here. I'll be back in a little bit."

As Jora was about halfway finished wolfing down the second fillet, he notices Gabatus with a spine in his arm. "You should take that out before all of the poison gets in..."

My nose twitched at the scent of blood from Gabatus. My pupils grew small as I turned and looked at him. "Go clean up. Now. And that's an order" I said sternly.

"And you need to get your eyes checked, for this spine ISNT in my arm, I took it out a few hours ago" he replied "And I dont need to clean myself when there's nothing to clean."

"Well for one I wanted you to examine to the poison so we could develop an antidote, but if saving lives isn't in your interest I could wait."

I growled, "Then stop fooling around." I quickly turned and walked back out. I went outside and climbed the wall. I sat on top and gazed at the moons and the stars. Why did you have to leave... I'm lost. I need your guidance. I thought to myself.

Taking the last piece of fillet with him, Jora snatches the spine, and then removes his Pipboy from Rowan's wrist, squeezing out the poison into the scanner; all without even considering how others would act.

"Well, I can't come up with a cure for it, because its not poison, but actually mutated white cells...I guess its like an acid that can't harm the user, eating the cells of the attacker, but if the user is hit with it, it does nothing..." Jora speculated, his mind racing with possible applications...then he went outside after eating the last piece and saw Rowan looking at the night sky. "You know, if this place wasn't filled with ravenous manufactured monsters, I'd love to live here..." Jora said after climbing up the wall and then sitting down.

I looked over at him. "Yea... Its a beautiful place." I hugged my knees tightly and continued to look at the sky.

Feeling rather gutsy, he asks something he usually would never say to another female, let alone any person. "If I find a way to destroy all of the creatures, can we stay here?" he asked with red frills, hoping he doesn't have to clarify himself...

"What do you mean?" I ask looking at him. The moonlight glistening in my eyes and glinting off my blue fur and armor.

Dammit he thought to himself as he gathered his inner fortitude to say it "Can I live with you here once all the creatures are no longer a threat?" he almost yelled, the blushing going from his frills and to his face.

Looking over st the scientist in shock, he wonders what the rest of the staff would think.

I look away quickly, cheeks warm. "Uh, I don't see why not... but.... why?" I asked looking back at him, the blush gone.

"two practical reasons, one emotional one. the pratical are that I have nowhere else to go after this and I would rather live here than earth since its not being totally drained of resources, yet. the one emotional reason is because I kind-of...*gulps*...have a....'thing' for you." he said, looking at the ground in embarassment for his sudden personality exposure.

I gaze at him for a while. "Well, i don't see why you couldn't stay." I quickly said clearing my throat. Don't even THINK about saying anything.... You can't grow attached to your soldiers. I slowly inch closer to him. I then gaze back up at the stars.

I can't believe I said that, a soldier shouldn't get that attatched to their commander, besides, I have to worry about my state for combat tomorrow.. he thought, not bothering to put up a guard against mentalists...

I looked at him and stopped before climbing down the wall. I can't help but have an attraction to him.... I looked at the moons once more and sat down. "You left too soon. Your advice would be great right now" I said looking at the sky.

Philly pushes open a window and looks out at the night sky. He leans farther out and sees Rowan sitting on the wall. "Ahh look who it is. I've still got a bruise from where she tackled me off that wall earlier."

I sighed as I hugged my knees close to my chest, my chin resting on my arms. "It's a really nice night..." I said to myself aloud.

As Philly leaned farther out the window to hear what he was saying, he fell out. He fell down three stories until he hit the ground, unconcious.

I turned around quickly and saw Philly on the ground. "Oh dear..." I jumped off the wall and ran over to him. I lifted him up and went in the palace. "Alright, Which room is his?"

As she was carrying him into the palace, his dagger fell out of it's holster on his pants and onto the ground.

"I dunno', the guards showed me to this ro...wait...this is the same room you showed me earlier, does that mean I'm sleeping with you?!" Jora suddenly backs against the wall, and his blush renews...

I stop at the sound. "Huh?" I pick up the dagger and eye it. "hmmm..." I shrug and place pack in its holster. I finally find his room and walk in. I lay him down in the bed and shut the window. I then sat beside him and nudge him gently. "Hey, kid?"

He slowly wakes up rubbing his head. "Oh dear...what happened" he said groggily. He then realized that his left arm was broken.

"I didn't actually see what happened," I said leaning over him, "I'm guessing you fell out of your window..." I took his arm gently. "This may hurt." I took his arm and moved it. A loud popping noise sounded in the room. "You dislocated your elbow. I'll get a bandage for you." I went to the hall and heard Jora. "Uh... what do you mean?" I asked tilting my head to the side.

"Oh hello pain!" Philly shouts as his elbow was popped back into place. He was suffering from probably the worst headache of his life. "That's the last time I lean out a window without a parachute."

"Uh... yea... That is my room." I said confused. "Who showed you? Hold that thought... be right back." I said as I ran off and returned with bandages. I ran into Philly's room. "Here we are." I sat on the bed next to him and wrapped his arm.

Jora goes around asking guards, and they all point him towards the same room...Unless Gabtus counts as a Palace guard, they're all saying I'm sleeping in your room...

"Well HEY. I never said it would be candy," I laughed. Alright. I suppose it will have to settle till we find you another room

I smile and laugh lightly. "You should rest. I'll be back to check on you in an hour or so." I got up and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind me.

Riku smiled lightly, enjoying the moonlight. "No, most of it has been taken care of. I just thought you'd like some friendly company" he said in a sincere tone, walking leisurely towards the Palace. He seemed to be calm, but every know and then he would look around to make sure they weren't in danger.

She flicked her thin tail and kept pace with him, singing softly under her breath; a mixture of growls and snarls that, to non-dragons, sounded horribly like curses. Jora, you okay now? She asked, concern flitting through the cold tone she adopted.

A normal person would probably be alarmed, but Riku had heard dragon-song a few times before in his career. "I wonder what the General is doing...Probably none of my business really." Turning to the dragoness, he began to say something, but changed his mind and continued walking in relaxing silence. It wasn't long before they reached the palace gates. Upon entering he said "I'm afraid this is where we must part, I have unfinished business to attend to. I enjoyed the walk." He gave a small bow and walked off down the main hallway.

She stopped and stared at him, reaching out with her mind, testing the barriers. What were you going to say, young one? She thought, half knowing he wouldn't hear her. Wait, repeat that last part again... You're sleeping with the GENERAL? She hissed, eyes widening in surprise.

When the dragoness touched Riku's mind, she would feel a impenetrable barrier around his thoughts, he still heard her question though. Lacking the ability to talk with his mind, he used his voice "I was going to ask if you had a place to sleep, and whether you enjoyed your first day here, but I realised you were occupied". He had stopped and turned towards her.

She shook her head. "No, I was under the impression I would be spending the night in the jail, until the General let me off. Would you happen to have extra space?" Her eyes laughed at his second question. "It was a better welcome than I expected, I assure you." She said, tone warming.

Riku gave a small smile at her tone "Yeah, we boast a friendly community of mutants." he let out a soft chuckle and continued "Yeah, I always thought the rooms were too big...I never usually use mine, I can show you if you'd like? Unless you have somewhere you need to be?" He questioned, his ice blue eyes scanning her expression, taking in every detail.

A dazzling smile spit her features. "Sure, why not? I don't remember being under anyone's payroll so I'm free for the rest of the afternoon." She replied, chuckling darkly. Better find out, bro. Sounds like a bad idea to me.

Not good. Sahar followed behind Riku, sniffing the air. "I smell food..." Her stomach rumbled noisily and she blushed. "And apparently I'm hungry."

Riku bowed slightly and grinned wider "If I dare say it, you do have a spectacular smile miss". Turning back he began to walk and heard the dragoness' comment "We can take a detour to the kitchens if you'd like" He offered, stopping and turning around, raising an eyebrow slightly.

I looked at Jora. "There is your bed over there." I pointed to a bed across the room from my own. "We are bunking together I suppose." I half smiled.

"Thank the heavens, I thought we were going to have to sleep in a bed....together" Jora said, blushing as the statement ended, then slowly walking towards his own bed.

Taking off a helmet, and lighting a cigar, Gabatus stood guard on the walls, aware of the nonstop growling and roaring, and occasional screams.

As this conversation goes on, gunshots are heard. "KEEP AT 'EM MEN! NO QUARTER!" he yelled over the gunfire as creatures attempted to scale the walls. iring his gun downwards, he took a Lion Bird hybrid in the face and it tumbled down.

Seeing a trooper get dragged off the wall by a snake wolf hybrid with tendrils, Gabatus yells "NO LET HIM GO DAMN YOU!" leaping off the wall after the soldier to try and save him, he revs up his chainsword, cutting through the beastly mass, but unfortunately, the soldier is eaten.

I quickly ran up the spiral stairs onto the large balcony. "Gabatus! Need help?" I shouted looking at the wall.

He walked towards the kitchens with a certain elegance and grace one would receive only after years of training and dedication to their cause. Reaching the kitchen, he waved down a chef "I know it's late, but could you fix us something up? I'll just have the usual and miss?" he asked, turning towards her. His paws clasped behind his back.

I walk over to Philly and see him sound asleep. "Oh... opps." I back away and shut the door. "I think I might go for a walk." I go to the entrance and open one of the large doors and shut it behind me. I tip toe across the court yard to the wall. I slowly begin to scale it and jump over it. "That was easy." I say dusting my hands. I begin to walk into the thick jungle.

I continue walking into the jungle. "Now where is that laboratory?" I said to myself trying to remember where my parents had been brutally attacked. Their screams began to ring in my head. I winced at the sounds as the sight of blood came back to mind. I quickly fell to my knees and began to cry, "Go away! leave then alone!!" I shouted, as birds flew overhead.

Riku nodded, placing his hand on the middle of her back as he gently guided her to the menu. "Well, there's quite a few bloody things on here" he indicated to the menu, it showed a few different types of meat, mainly beef and venison. "as for what I'm having. I doubt you'll like it...it's a mixture of proteins and vitamins all mushed up into a shake. Everything a growing lieutenant needs!" On the last sentence, he mocked an advert and gave a cheesy thumbs up before shuddering slightly.

Jora soon wakes up, and realizing its still night out, heads to the window, and using his telekinesis, floats across the Palace and the wall, and into the jungle. Sadly a rather large dragon floating in the air is quite noticeable and some guards attempt to inform General Rowan.

Tail swishing, she shook her head. "You're right, doesn't sound very good." A laugh escaped her mouth at his cheesy thumbs up. "I'll ave some venison." She replied top the chef with an apologetic smile.

Jora floats down towards the two creatures, his instincs telling him that they are escorts. "Where is she?" the creatures look at eachother, then head off into the forest, one of them motioning for him to follow, which he does...

Riku wore a smile as the chef went off and prepared their meals "It may be a few minutes. Want to grab a seat? I'll bring it over it you want?" He asked, his tail flicking lightly as he waited for a response.

Perching on a stool, she watched him out of the corner of her eye, smirking wryly. "Come join me..." Her scales clicked as she adjusted herself to fit into the alcove of the booths.

Riku looked over and took a few steps, looking back before smiling and sitting over in the booth with Sahara. He got himself comfy and looked at her "I always feel calm when I'm within these walls.." He commented, his eyes transfixed on hers.

Giving off a smile of his own before speaking "you know, you have a brilliant smile, you should do it more often, and I don't know, I guess it's because it's the only real home I have ever known..." Suddenly blinking "My god, I haven't even introduced myself! I'm Riku, lieutenant in the army". He held out a paw.

Riku smiled "It's not hard to appear charming when you're faced with such a wondrous person. Sahara, I like it" He grinned and slowly let go of her hand. Seeing the soldier come up to him, his smile faded. "Right." Turning to sahara "I'm afraid our time together has been cut short, I can have a guard show you to my room if you'd like. I'm sorry". His ears drooped slightly as he began to turn and walk after the guard.

Riku growled in his throat "Okay, get me a squad of 12 men out front, double time, and fortify this palace, they could be gauging up for a strike at the palace. Try and locate Gabatus to inform him of the situation...Move!" He ordered. Turning back to Sahara, he asked "Have you tried locating them?"

A hiss of frustration escaped her and she furrowed her brow, furthering the distance. Realizing Riku was speaking to her, Sahara shook herself out of her trance and shook her head. "Several times... No answer as of late."

"We already had scouts sent out to track down Jora and Rowan, and so far, three out of ten of them have come back, and in rather rough shape. But one of them saw a dragon being escorted by two creatures further into the forest, but the scout came under attack and retreated before he could see who the dragon was." the guard said as 12 soldiers appear at the front gate and other guards start building turrets around the base, and snipers set up around the wall-towers.

Riku walked towards the front of the palace. Seeing the men assembled, he walked to the front "Okay men, we're going to perform a simple 6 4 6 extraction. Quick, efficient and by the book, the last thing we need are heroics, are we clear?" A resounding "Sir, yes sir!" echoed across the courtyard. Riku signalled them to get into formation. Six people out in front, Riku and Sahara in the middle, with six backing them up. Opening the gates, they stepped outside the walls.

He walked out of his room and down the stairs until he got outside. When he saw a soldier he asked "What's going on here?"

~The creatures use Guerilla tactics, avoiding the soldiers' sights, then striking them hard. This goes on until they reach a clearing where the monsters can easily be seen~

A scout from Gabtus' group finds Rowan and attempts to snap her out of the trance. "General, we're so glad you're alive, but we need you, Jora left the Palace without telling anyone why!"

Riku reached the clearing, ordering the soldiers to form a perimeter as he pointed an assault rifle at Jora "Call those creatures off before you get a face full of lead. Don't make any sudden moves". His face was contorted into a snarl, he had gained a few cuts from the hit and run guerilla tactics, but nothing too serious. He had the scope trained on Jora's head. If he made a wrong move, a bullet would be sent through his skull.

Arriving in the clearing, Gbatus ran into Rowan captured, with Jori and Riku having a fierce stare down.

Seeing as though you refused my request" He turned and put a bullet through both of the creatures skulls, incapacitating them, if not killing them. Turning the rifle back at Jora he continued "now, lets all return to the palace, don't make this any harder than it has to be"

Jora didn't bother with an answer, he exercised his mind by forcing Riku to a wall, not with nearly the amount of force it would take to kill, and Rowan to the ground. Then, with only a last, sad glance at Rowan, Jora went back into the jungle, vanishing from view.

After covering two to three miles in the forest, Jora arrives at what looks like a giant laboratory outpost, complete with creature 'guards', and laser turrets. He slows down to a walking pace as he approaches the two creatures, who sniff him over and look him in the eye, then they motion him inside the main door...

Getting two steps in, Sahara shook her head, changed her mind, and started back toward the palace. She grabbed Riku's hand and pulled him along, tail still lashing.

Riku signalled the guards to take the general back as he was dragged along. regaining his balance he began to walk alongside her "Sahara, is everything okay?" He asked, his voice gentle. A sharp contrast to a few minutes ago.

Jora soon arrives in the main lab, feeling like trash for how he treated everyone, but having them worry over him would put more pressure than just hating him. "Jora, enjoyed your little walk outside?" 'she' said...or should I say Tella. "Yea, but I ran into her again, but I couldn't capture her since the rest of them showed up. Great, now I'm deceiving everyone I know in an attempt to keep everyone alive he stored that thought in a 'lockbox' of sorts, to prevent it being seen by Tella, who also had some latent psychic abilities, although hers pale in comparison to Jora's and Rowan's. "Aw...don't worry, I'm sure we'll get her when we start the attack, and this time, I'll have you leading my elite 'pets' into battle, since you're the only humanoid I can trust among the science teams" she chirped in, hugging him like a big sister would hug a somewhat depressed youger brother. "I would never dream of betraying my only....Mistress" Jora managed to choke that word out, but Tella didn't seem to notice nor care.

I stopped. Something muffed up is going on. And I'm going to figure it out. I just need to track Jora's aura. I thought quickly shutting my eyes. Where are you my Dragon friend... I opened my eyes, they turned gold with purple around the outside. I darted deeper into the forest. I raced past the guards and stopped a few yards. "It feels stronger.... I must be close." Three beasts crawled out from the darkness of the jungle. "Oh COME ON!" I said quickly drawing my dagger from the thigh holster. I stood staring at the beasts. Waiting for them to move, I quickly jumped up into the dense tree branches that hovered overhead.

Riku turned to the scout "yes, there's no use looking for him in that beast infested jungle. He also assaulted me, so if he does come near the palace, Shoot on sight. Spread the word. Now soldier!" He turned back to sahara. "Well, we could discus it in my quarters. It's private and we wont be interrupted".

"Oh, looks like we have an intruder...wonder how he found us...oh well, he'll get to meet my 'pets' early" Tella pressed a button on a nearby console, and creatures that look more humanoid, but still have the looks of the creatures, quickly close in on Gabatus and kill him before he can even respond..."One down, one Kingdom to go" Tella giggled as Jora became slightly more depressed.

I hear the attack of beast in the distant. "No..." I quickly jump down and run in the direction. I quickly come to the sight of a mangled body of Gabatus. "NO!!" I yell holding what's left of him. Tears stream down my face. "Come back to me! Gabatus!" I cried burying my face into his bloodied armor. My fur became drenched in his blood. The loss of gabatus hung over my head as my shoulders sagged with guilt. "You were like a brother" I muttered into the armor. "You will not die in vain." I looked up and saw the tracks of the beasts leading to the possible location. "I won't let you die without vengeance. Who ever did this shall die painfully." I quickly stood up, as lightening split the sky and thunder boomed. Rain began to fall as I started following the tracks.

Raising his hands in protest, as she held onto him "General....... don't cry for me...... but for the fate that might become of out planet..... for the military"
and with that, Gabatus died.

Tears continued to stream down my face. Gabatus' last words rang in my head. "Tella!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. Her name exiting my lungs fiercely, the name rang through the jungle.

"Not now, I need food, and air to clear my head." She hissed, still tugging his arm.

Riku nodded "Okay, well I'm sure our meals would've been stored until our return. I can have it brought out to the courtyard if you would prefer..." Riku tried to keep up with her to keep from her pulling his arm off.

Releasing him, she stormed off and slumped into a seat at the restaurant. "Is my meal ready?" She asked a passing chef softly, reigning in her temper.

The chef nodded and whisked off looking at Riku, who shook his head slightly, almost unnoticeable. The chef looked at him puzzled and Riku leaned in, whispering "Just bring the meal out...now ain't a good time I think". The chef gave a quick incline and rushed off, returning a few minutes later with half of a roast boar. Riku had found his way to his seat and seemed pretty withdrawn. The chef placed the glistening golden brown boar on the table near Sahara and a medium sized cup in front of Riku.
"dig in, it's all for you". He raised the cup to his lips and drank, grimacing as the substance slid down his throat.

I stop mid step. "Who is Tella?" I ask myself catching the name after shouting it. I look around and continue in the direction of the beasts. "Whoever she is... She is not going to get away so easily"

Jora is in the breeding hall, where the creatures are manufactured in almost two minutes from a petri dish to a full-blown killing machine. Tella is following close behind, only a smirk showing how happy she was that Jora is finally with her again, and if 'fate' allowed, to never part from her again. "So, this 'Rowan' girl, she a close friend?" she queried, looking at Jora over his shoulder. "No, I just want a concubine, and I find her attractive." Jora lied, despratly hiding his thoughts of her from Tella's mental scan. "Well, if everything goes as planned, we'll both end up removing all military presence from this planet, and we can spend the rest of our lives researching what my peers could only dream of, and also spending a bit more...'quality' time together."

Philly walks through the forrest thinking to himself "I'll show Gabatus that I'm not just some civillian." Suddenly it started to rain hard. "Wow, where did this storm come from?"

~You find the now dead, but not yet mutilated body of Gabtus, rather large claw marks cover his armor and flesh~

"Oh good god! What did this" Philly says backing away slowly. Then he thought "Heh, I guess Gabatus should have went back into the palace."

I continued deep into the forest not knowing where to go. I quickly pick up an unfamiliar smell as a familiar scent fills the air along with the other. Jora! my voice rang in my head. "I wont let that harpy get you" I said to myself as I started to run towards his scent.

Jora was at the computer, copying the massive amount of logs and databases, having them all tranferred to his Pipboy. I'm sorry Tella, but your solution is not something I can agree with, I'll do my best to lessen the pain, but I cannot shield you without hurting everyone else... He thought to himself as he inserted his trigger-activated virus into the 'mass-production' code for when Tella starts her "main event". He then walks away from the computer, and into Tella's cambers, since she told him she wants the company of someone with a sentient mind.

I finally reach the old laboratory. Stay calm. Don't think of anything but your goal my voice soothed. I proceeded forward and clutched my fists. "Tella..." I growled lowly. I entered the dark part of the lab hoping no beasts were near. I continued down the corridor looking for sign of life. Blood had stained the walls and floors. Skeletons scattered on the floors. I walked lightly without a sound.

I looked around listening intently to my surroundings. "I know your here somewhere Jora... I can sense your aura." I whispered aloud.

Jora was sleeping with Tella, who was currently petting him while trying to fall asleep herself. But something was keeping her up, something that shouldn't be happening today. She looked at the camera monitors above her bed and across the room seeing a figure stalking her lab. she took out a radio and activated the alarm, which goes off everywhere but her room. "Looks like your concubine is here Jora, but she'll have to give up before you wake up, or I might just have to kill her." She kissed his snout as she tried to go back to sleep, and the beasts in their pens began to awaken...

As the alarm sounded I began to run. "TELLA!" I shouted my voice belting throughout the corridors. I continued to run when I noticed a difference in the sound of the alarm. "It seems... quieter." I said as I walked delicately to the room. I saw Jora and Tella. I walked in, my boots stomping the floor.

Tella threw a harsh glare at Rowan as she got up, her mind straining to send the mental message, Be quiet, you'll wake up Jora you stupid girl! and in the darkness of the room, she looks very much like Rowan, except she wears a lab coat, and a gauntlet on her left arm, plus her fur is white and orange...

I growl loudly. My white fangs bared. "What happened if he wakes up?" I asked aloud. I kicked open the door, letting in the belting alarm sound.

Tella panics as Jora wakes up. "Tella, whats going on, and....Rowan?!" Jora gets out of bed, covering himself with sheets. "T..This isn't what it looks like!" he quickly said, and Tella looks at Rowan with renewed anger. "Thats it, you're dead!" she yells, leaping at Rowan with her gauntlet covered fist.

I look at Chrono saddened. I suddenly am on the floor. "Get off of me you wretched witch" I grab a piece of broken wall and smash her head with it. I quickly kick her off and stand up.

Tella staggers back, and then reaches into a nearby drawer to take out an energy pistol, which she fires at Rowan, while Jora is too shocked at the fight to do anything...

I get shot in the shoulder and fall backwards. "DAMN IT!" I shout as I hold the wound. I lunge at her and sink my teeth into her right shoulder and tear a part of her flesh off. Blood drips from my mouth as I jump back.

Tella screams in pain and falls on one knee, applying pressure to the wound. "Jora, please help, shes gone mad!" Jora snapped out of it, and with sadness in his eyes, drew his scimitar and face Rowan. Why did you come, I was going to fix this on my own...I never wanted this to happen Rowan...

I looked at him angrily. "Don't do this Jora... I know your better than this!" I shouted tears forming in my eyes. I looked over at Tella. "I'm mad... I didn't destroy my companions! my Friends!" I growled

Jora's eyes widen and he realizes what he could do. He holds up his pipboy, and activates the "doomsday" sequence. Tella will pay for what she did, but not by satisfying your feelings of revenge, oh, and try to make the fight look convincing Jora 'said', looking at Rowan with a glint in his eyes.

Alright... I looked at him angrily. I spit out blood and looked at Tella. "Now time for you to end witch." I growled making my way towards her.

Jora jumps in front. "Your fight is with me Rowan, not Tella" he replied, his wings spreading out, and the air distorting with mental energy. Remember, she wants me to fight you, so letting you go by is giving it away too much.

I growl and step back. "Get out of the way Jora..." I lunge at him, knowing that he could easily over power me. I understand that... I'm just making it more realistic I thought as I jumped on him.

Jora grabs her in mid-jump, and slams her to the ground, pinning her to the floor. "Give up, I can easily beat you, though I do not wish it" Tella didn't care about what he said, she was just happy that Jora was protecting her.

A tear trickled down my face as I clawed his arm. I continued to struggle. I spat at him and growled.

Jora winces at the clawing, but continues to hold until the spit enters the cut, and he weakened his grip on her to clean out the cut.

I continue to struggle, his strength still too powerful to over power. I look around and find a rock. That'll do. I thought as I hit his wound. I'm sorry... I don't want to hurt you I raced out of the room, but slipped and hit the opposite wall. "Damn... what the hell" I mutter trying to get up. I then notice the I slide on broken glass and that I was bleeding profusely.

Jora fell to the ground, then looked at his pipboy and nods Well, we held the ti- his train of thought was cut off as he saw her wounded. "Rowan!" he yelled out, immedeatly rushing to her aid, despite the visual protest from Tella. "What are you doing, finish her off, she'll just get back up later and try to kill us!" Jora bit his lower lip, after removing the glass from the wounds and dressing them, he stood up to Tella. "No" was all he said before picking up Rowan. "What do you mean 'No', kill her no-" "I said no, now lets get out of here before whatever set off the doomday process goes out to get us too!"

I winced as he pulled the glass from my leg. "Jora.. what are you doing?" I asked angrily and sadly. I heard what he said to Tella. I'm sorry I couldn't keep it up.. I didn't want to hurt you... my voice whimpered to him.

Jora carried Rowan, followed by a very confused Tella, out of the laboratory, and in a few minutes afterwords, it self-destructed, burying the breeding chambers in unmovable rubble...He then set Rowan down and faced Tella...

I looked at Jora and winced at the pain. I held my leg as it continued to bleed rapidly. I looked up and watched Tella and Jora.

Tella just looked at Jora for ten seconds of silence before asking. "What happened to you during the year I was gone?!" Jora looked away for a moment before looking her back in the face "I faced prison for picking a fight with a superior officer, but she pardoned me, and after being away from you for so long, I kind-of....fell in love with her..." he looked at Rowan before facing the ground again.

I looked at him shocked. I fell breathless for a moment. My mind started rushing.

"So, you found another...I guess you're happy with her..." Tella said, looking away, and obviously heartbroken. "If the military didn't send you away, I would have been happy with you, but seeing what its done to you..."

My vision suddenly zoomed away from me as I fell unconscious from the massive blood loss.

Jora looked at Rowan fall unconsious. "Oh no...I have to get her to the med-center, quick!". But before he could move, Tella let out a whistle as a 'Chimera', built for increadible speed, showed up and lowered itself. "Promise you'll forget about what happened here?" she asked, hoping for a 'yes'. "I'll try, but you know me, I have an excellent memory when it comes to friends." the chimera then took off towards the kingdom at 60 mph at the minimum.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw the trees overhead racing by. I shut them again, feeling dizzy.
