So I was wondering what all your guyses thoughts were on furry spirituality?

Also would you consider rafiki from the lion king a zen master or some highly spiritual furson?

Thanks

To be furry in itself is more of a hobby or personal preference, I think you're referring to therian and otherkin beliefs?

IMO:

The furry fandom is just something i do for fun, nothing spiritual about it. A time killer or a hobby, a place i go for artwork or to chill with friends.

Now the lion king thing, i didn't really think that much into it. I think he's just more of a talking monkey for kids

I believe in it, and I actually practice it a lot. Mainly Native American beliefs.

I don't think Rafiki is really anything but a character to me. But he reminds me a lot of Master Shifu from Kung Fu Panda.

I am a therian, but I don't associate it with the fandom. The fandom is a fun thing, therianthropy is serious stuff. I just view them as two separate things, I don't think I'm so furry I have a religion about it.

I'm a furry because I love animals and I want to be like certain kinds of animals, to understand their behaviour and whatnot. ;) But taking it way into depth, I haven't really thought of that. Like somebody said here, I thought the Lion King thing was just some random talking monkey. xD

For me i have always believed in a really natural life style. I am a wiccan and i have many native american beliefs along with a few greek myths i follow. I dont believe that there is one way to worship, but i do believe that there can be a tie in with someone's beliefs to something someone does for fun. I have been a furry since i was a child so i dont know if thats why i feel so close to animals and believe them to be kin.
