Simply Metaphysical Thinking
« on: March 27, 2011, 06:32:47 AM »
So I'm curious to hear others thoughts and beliefs about the subject of metaphysics in the mystical sence. Do you believe/ don't believe in it, what does it mean to you... whatever? Have fun!

Hmm....I dunno if this counts but I'm wiccan and know my fair share about chakras and such. I don't believe in like, specific types of things and such and I don't think there are a billion planes of existence.

Ummm... when you die, you are reincarnated. I also believe in the concept of a heaven and hell, but not the Christian way.

Oh, you mean THAT stuff! xD Darn Wikipedia confused me.

Well, I beleive in the chakras, as well as reincarnation. I've done some past-life regressions, and I can't beleive otherwise afterwards!

I also beleive in a sort of "heaven" and "hell" but hell is where a soul goes when it ceases to grow and want to shape itself for the better, while heaven is for the soul that has learned all of its lessons and has become "enlightened"

Metaphysics is any philosophical study of the fundamental basis of everything that makes up our very large/small universe...whatever that maybe. And since it's all theoretical and all forms of science are based off what was known as magic anyway, it's much easier to label such beliefs as mere mystical fantasy so to allow openness on all accounts. People can only know so much from what the can sense is reality, so why not talk about the big picture and enjoy the pondering on what it could be?
I believe the universe to be as like for example, a drop of water in a vast ocean. Everything is made of something smaller, and we too make up a small part of this world and so on and so forth. So what's to say that this universe can't be part of something bigger and more vast then our minds could precieve, how can we see where we don't stand ourselves as witness to the whole event that is the miracle life, let alone the birth of the universe. I also believe everything is made up of energy surging through this material world to which is also composed of other forms of energy so to get to that point of unity where all things become one major existence supporting the existence of many more, all to maintain and hold together a form of reality/enviroment to survive. I do believe in multiple dimensions of reality and I do believe in magic.
I am that I am, even if only for a moment. And I will always try despite my flaws to summon what I can to become better than what I was.

I believe in magic, spirits, chakras, ect. But it has to make sense for me to believe it. I also think that when we die we can choose to reincarnate or not to and that we all go to the same place no matter how we act in this life becuase while we may have caused great harm to those around us, I think we do make up for in in some life, in some way.
I believe in a Goddess and God, but in the end I think that we all see the godhead differently and that no one is right or wrong, and I dont think it gives [removed] what we call it or if we believe in it or not. Why would it?
I also believe that some things can be explained by science and some cant

iam christian and a i believe in reincarnation, i do believe that there is a heaven  but no hell. for my view on hell is any suffering that happens to us when where her so kind of like karma or if you want, you can say it like this  for each action this is an equivalent and equal reaction. that temporary suffering that we experience is hell. i do believe that for each reality there are an infinite other realities. as for religious beliefs i believe that all religion are a path to God , you just chose the one that you feel is the one for you. going back to reincarnation i believe that we can come back as what ever we want, i have had my experiences with past life memories , i felt like ive been to places that i have never been befor and for some reason i have a strong faction with druid's ( might of been one in my past life) and since iam a therian i feel like i was a wolf in a another life. as for charka i dont know much about it all i know is it is a spiritual energy, can some one fill me in on it?

ooh  i like this thread. :)

I never say "I don't believe in xy." I just accept other people view of everything.

But in these days, i was thinking about reality... What makes metaphysical stuff real? It's just BELIEVING in it, and thats all? Thats makes things real somewhere, somehow?
I try really hard... but really i don't know. Because it's you start believing that somewhere anthros are real thing... Then someone will say you, you are mad, or just stupid. :D

And i think, this is just true for everithing.
Believe has power, everyone knows that. i believe in something, i see the resoults, how it effects in my life... but others dont see it this way. why? :(

Sorry for my bad english ^^
Open for commisions! :)

Well as far as metaphysics go I believe that due to the universe being infinite such as time and space are, that there are other worlds similar to this one. I mean even if the chances of this world forming are like 1 in 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 the universe being infinite would mean infinite possibilities, and infinity beats out rarity. This also makes me believe that a furry universe could exist somewhere out there.

I believe in energy, and I also believe in the power of the brain to control energy with the proper practice and training. I believe it is the control over this energy that causes the physical and non physical changes that may happen when doing certain rituals to get certain results.
