IP banned? (Mod, please read)

Okay, so I was at my house with a friend of mine (who is also on this site) and I was trying to send a PM.  It kept giving me an error, so I tried again, and now my home IP is banned.  I;mn on my school IP now, and if a mod/admin would reply, or PM me why I was IP banned, thanks.

If you get an error, report it, don't just try again, you tried 5 times to send, seriously?

Also, in future please include you IP in a PM to myself, so I don't have to search it.

Ban has been lifted.

Okay, got it, I'll report it in the future.  And yes, I tried 5 times to send my message.  Thanks for the lift, Tweak.  Hopefully, this won't happen again.
