Contest - Two Sides
« on: May 08, 2007, 12:23:09 AM »
Ever since I've finished my DarkHound set, I've been having a lot of fun.  Like my main fursona, the character the DarkHound skin is based off of represents a part of me.  So, I've been enjoying playing with the idea of my normal self and alternative self.  Which brings me to this contest.  Post a picture representing the duality of yourself/your avatar.  It can be good/evil, dark/light, male/female, anything.

Deadline: May 31
Prize: An item of your choosing worth up to 1,500 credits.
Rules:
- Must follow theme
- Keep entries PG-13
- Photoshop is allowed as long as it's your own editing
- Rules are subject to change at anytime.

Entries:
Bethanie
Nik

Extra Credit!
First person to fully get the joke in this wins a smaller prize :)

Yay! I worked quite hard on this. (Mostly deciding what to DO.)

This is what I came up with.

It's a couple of sides in one picture. One, obviously canine and feline. Canines are thought of as loyal, and somewhat symbolize what a true friend is: always glad to see you, appreciative, and overall the picture of joy. I also chose to use my canine in this to represent the male characteristics I have. Burping, farting (oh you do it too!) and a love of technology. (As seen behind the canine, it's framed in more of a tech type theme.)

Then the feline, who represents class, and a true woman. Moody sometimes, but graceful, elegant, sophisticated and beautiful. This is the side of me I chose to dress classy and elegant, like a true lady, because I believe I have that part of me, too. This is the part that likes pretty dresses, shiny things (yes, I think women are kind of like squirrels in that way, hording sharing shiny things), the fine arts, and refined tastes. Her border is more.. flow-ish and scripty.

Anywho, that's the dynamic in this picture! Hope you like!

my lubberly pic. ^_^ Contrast most obvious being fur/non-fur, but contrast not so obvious being the bright/dull contrast. Why is the fur brighter then the nonfur? Well. The Fur character (Nikola), character that most represents me is a more defined furson then the other. The non-fur (Nikora) is less defined, a lesser used character since I discovered the furry fandom on IMVU. >.>

... so now that you all think I'm nuts..... *RUNS*
NOW with 100% more AWESOME!
