See you wouldn't feel like you're suffocating, because the nitrogen almost tricks your body into believing you are breathing, but you're not. So you just get tired and tired and drift off to sleep and then die.

I'd go with dying from mysterious unexplained circumstances that nobody ever solves, then having wild fanatical stories made about all the things that never happened. Becoming a story!
