Well, as you can see by my profile picture, my main fursona only has wolf ears, a tail, and all that. He isn't a full on fur. So, what is a half-fur like that? Just curious, Hinoko

It's alright. Some change their profile content pretty frequently, there's no rule against it, although I'd personally advise against changing everything at once (Username, Signature, Species, Avatar, etc.) without some way to tell it's still you, just to avoid super confusion. :)

Well I don't know what the avatar looked like before, but characters that are human in appearance with animal ears and tail are usually called kemonomimi, I believe.
