Okay, quick question for everyone, new and old to the Fandom.....What is the defining point where a person becomes a Furry? Generally speaking....

Well in my opinion, even if your interested in the artwork and all that kinda stuff, you aren't a Furry until you choose to be one or think of yourself as part of the fandom itself and join in.

Ah, cool. I'm sorta new, and I don't want to misrepresent or anything, so you can understand my confusion.

I've only been really a part of fandom (only online so far) for 2 months yesterday.
The fandom has changed a lot over time I guess, and there seems to be a bit of a barrier between "community" and "fandom" a bit. Though, those in the community are of course fans of the concept, nonetheless :3

I think once you start liking animals with human(-like) attributes more than most, and especially go to furry sites, identify as one, etc, then you are a furry.

I'd consider anyone who appreciates anthropomorphic animals a furry  :)

As i've come to learn it generally refers to anyone who enjoys anthropomorphic art or activities and wants to be one. So i don't think you can really be a wrong kind of furry i think we should love all no matter how much their into it.

I believe that the generally accepted, worded out term for a Furry is: Someone who appreciates anthropomorphic art.
Done and done!

This, though furry I heard furry is often short for furry character, too its just easier to say.
