Hai gays and gals! ;)


Since the website is crashing very often, I think that everyone that is able to should donate as much as they can/want!
I donated everything I had on my PayPal accounts, wich wasn't very much. But at least I helped out a little bit, and it feels good to give back to the owners! :3


I know that there are people who can't or don't want to donate, and that's ok! I just think that if everyone who could, donated a small ammount every month, the site would get better and stop crashing etc!


So, instead of paying someone $50 this month for a new avatar, give some to the creators!

Donating is extremely important for the website, because it helps secure the websites future. It won't, unfortunately, fix any down-time though because that's more of a hardware problem, we're currently running a VPS, rather than a dedicates server which we ran before because of donation issues. But to be perfectly honest, we've actually had less downtime with the VPS than with the Dedicates server, so it hasn't made all that much difference.

  Also, there's kind of a bit of iffiness with where the donations go, I find...

Shouldn't a normal web host with unlimited space and bandwidth be enough?
I'm turning 18 in 3 weeks, I will be able to make purchases online with my creditcard by then! I will make sure that I donate $10/month!  :D

Well, no server has unlimited space or bandwidth. Some servers are high quality  than others and allow for more bandwidth and more space, a VPS is a virtual server that's on a shared box, so it's likely the server box we used may be shared with other people (which means if they get laggy we get laggy too), but it's most likely us. The main reasons for the outages are DDoS attacks, basically cyber attacks, we are a furry website afterall XD
