Hard to say what makes me me. Each person is different and the question is a very vague one because there's so much that makes a person who they are. but I guess I could start with a few labels I fall under and work from there.
I'm an artist. I'm transgender. I'm sort of a furry. I'm an aromantic asexual. I'm a Halloweiner – technically the self proclaimed Halloween Hellraiser. My hobbies include playing videogames, drawing, reading, roleplaying, working with dogs. I like to work with my hands and advocate for social change. I am a dumb doge that loves his friends dearly, but can be a bit distant at times.
Current longish term goals are to move to CT and get top surgery, hopefully within the next year or two. Maybe get into social work, specifically with trans advocacy and go back to school eventually.
Short term goals are to lose a little weight and get in with a psychiatrist to get a good handle on my mental health and get medicated; overall, just try and take better care of myself. Taking care of myself has been my resolution for the past two or more years and while I'm making slow progress, progress is progress.
The kind of person I'll be in the future? Hopefully someone who is well adjusted and healthy. Someone who has gone through the proper medical treatement for their transition and is happy with their life – far away from their toxic upbringing and working to make social change or a hell of a lot of traditional art.
