Furry revealing

 You know, it suprises me how you do a "search people" on IMVU for furry and almost none of them "look furry".
I wonder, does the furries on IMVU like to hide in a dark hole like rats?
Sure, there's anti-fur out there, but a digital shield isn't going to help with getting furs together.
I'm not hidden and I encourage others to do the same.

It's just self expression mixed with diplomacy.
Human avatar pics don't scare the mundanes away as fast.
Then by the time they've invested enough time on the furr's page it may be too late.
They've gotten used to them and won't be scared away as easily.


My avatar is very furry and has received a few compliments.

I've had a few complaints on being like this... but not all IMVU'ers are like that. You just have to find the right ones.

Check the link if it was a linked image. It may be that your image linking site may be doing maintenance.

I think i have like...every way possible for furs to come to my page...Furry Pride Web Ring...furry furries etc..in my interests and link to my HP on this forum I even have furry dev banners on my page...and it all works pretty darn good   I also get compliments about my page and my avi...but seems like almost every chat now i go into...ppl mistaken me for a cat...yet i have fox tails, fox/wolf muzzle and even the fox legs  :peek: it's annoyin but funny at the same time...

Well... I have to admit, the kitsune/fox items do look feline. So I can't really blame them. I wanted more of a wolf-like appearance, but IMVU doesn't really show good wolf items or represent the animal fully right. Developers try their hardest, but making a program like that with more true-to-animal items would consume heavy amounds of memory and bandwidth.

I just have furry in my Interests and my avatar looks very furry, I meet lots of furries still.

But yeah I get confused with a cat too, it seems everyone thinks any type of furry is a cat.

Yea lol that's true...this one girl i met in chat...she thought i was a cat and she RPed with me as if i was a domestic cat...like jingle balls and cat nip and stuff like that...theb i told her i was a fox...shefelt stupid and was all sorry to me about it...it happens...I'm used to it as well...heh i bet if i buy a cat skin ppl will say i'm a wolf of fox
