I was asked if I was a furry, and after a short "Yes" things didn't go much further from there.


Eebeku is the first one to know about it relatively in-depth, and now he's in a Skype group with several other members of TFF, including myself. He's doing just fine.

Yeah I've been hearing alot about that group. It's like a secret society or something.

We are the few... the kinda proud... the people that talk about why we have scars on our toes.

Nobody has ever asked since I am not the loud and proud sort of furry. I have told a few people, all of which have been fine with it. None of them really care and I don't bother them with details. Mostly it will be already close friends who are talking about furries and then I sneak in all ninja style and say, "oh, by the way..."

It works for me at least. Then again, I don't wear tails or ears all day so maybe that is why it does.

My dad. We aren't friends 100% of the time, but I trusted him, because he's into fantasy as well. It turned out good. He also asked, if I could contribute more info the fandom, which accidentally got me here.

About my fursona? Not the first person, no.

First person I told was my best friend, whose like a brother to me. I was already in by he middle of coming out as pansexual to him, so I figured "what the hell".

Second person was a girl I had a crush on, she actually surprisingly knew what furries are, and had asked what mine was. And then went on to see what I thought herself could've been if she was a furry.

And those are the only two people to really be told.

Well, besides the person who dragged me into this group/fan base, a best friend knows. She still does. And it's a funny story how it happened and my whole reaction was," well. Shit." So I told her and she was fine with it. I bring it up sometimes just to show her my art or something else I'm working on but she's understanding.
