I'd just be generic and say that I love the community, it's so accepting and friendly.
that and drawing anthro art, that's fun.

Doesn't matter if it has. Everyone is super nice and accepting. They all gave me the courage to just be what I am and the hell with everyone else. ~^.^~ Everyone here is amazing.

^^ I second this. I've just been super excited about this forum and spamming literally everything, but everyone I've met is great and amazing! Being in the fandom is letting me wear a 'mascot costume' and be silly, and it gives me an excuse to draw humanoid animals instead of humans (which I cannot draw to save my life)

Yea, I like how I can just be myself and not be judged nearly as much. I have a few... really divergent beliefs and likes, and I am glad that I am not immediately ostracized for it.

I like how I can share my interest with anthro animals with others, and everyone is really nice in this fandom.

Probably the fact that the furry community is one of the most universally accepting groups that I have ever been a part of, which is totally awesome. It is also really great for creativity with regards to writing and art. That was two things. Oh well, consider it a tie.

The fandom really lets you be you. I feel a lot more comfortable with myself and a lot happier with my life. Especially now that when I told my friends, their response was "Um. Yeah, we know. It was obvious." So that acceptance and the look of Are you insane, of course you are. How did you not see that? was both priceless and very uplifting.

Plus, I look -good- with a tail and ears.

i like how supportive the fandom is, if i put up something i drew or made and it looked a bit rubbish it wouldn't be met with a barrage of hate comments but some compliments and constructive criticism.


i also like how no one really complains when i occasionally spell something wrong  (although spell checks a lot better now which helps loads)
