Why does IMVU now take ten forevers to do anything?

The last few updates to IMVU made things a bit slower.
And finaly with the very last one it's gotten so retarded it takes at least two minutes to open a 3D window.
Animations are over for my chat partner before I get a glimpse of it.

Has anyone else been screwed like this? Or is it just me?
The new meter says it's downloading at under 10kbps and usualy says .5 .
I'm on a freakin cable modem and everything else is fine.

Anyone have a clue?

ive got an awesome graphics card...so it works fien for me.

i like it more now, simply becuase i dont have to take 5-10 minutes changing an outfit.

once i find it in my huge inventory i mean...

Well, the video card on this computer must have been made from kitty litter.
The cpu on this thing is under 400Mhz.
So these "updates" effect me more than your average user.
I have to run the program through my cpu instead of direct3D or openGL.

One thing I didn't like was how they changed the default settings. I had to go back into the settings
to discover the new settings and find the one that translated into my previous settings.
It's still slower than the previous versions though.

yeah, ive notice that imvu is a lot slower now,
there might be a couple of mistakes in the programing of
imvu.or the browsers under update.

Ephermal, I know your computer is slow.. But maybe try running less when you have IMVU.

I know IMVU has a retardly low res, but it still eats eats away at your processing power.

After I went back and changed my settings to the way they used to be it was running normal speed.
Which is less than 5fps. The slow down I'm refering to is the insane lag.

It takes intirely too long to load or take off just one item.
Before, when I first joined, it only took a few seconds. The previous update made items take 20 seconds
to load when it was being super fast.
Today I've been getting "too many my page request" errors just browseing home pages.

It's not running too slow anymore, but yeah I have noticed its gotten slower (isn't updates made to make them faster and better working?)
