Well, they are making a movie based off the hit series Maximum Ride. It's the story of Maximum Ride, who is 98% human... And 2% avian, along with her fellow five flock members. When the youngest, Angel, gets kidnapped, Max sets out to save her.
But yeah, the director wanted fans to vote for who they wanted... And the best part is, it's the fans that might get the part!
