I had to look a very long time for my house keys on many of occasions, it really sucks when I lose them because then I have to worry about getting into my house at the end of the day if nobody is home x.x.

Pet hamsters.
I used to have one who was an escape artist and could fit under doors.
To get her back I used to have to close off each room and cover door cracks then put a cheerio in each room and check later to see which room was missing a cheerio so that I could know where she was.

A hip bag of CDs i treasured when I was a kid. I spent years looking for it, and then just gave up. I found it under my bed last year

my USBs a few times, thought i left it somewhere in my house, found out it was at the school

just to find in the end it was in my left hand the whole time.
