Making a Fursona

Is there any fursona names that is not accepted or is looked down on? Is it wierd if your fursona is not the same gender as you? I am new to the furry fandom so I dont know how it all work here.
Sorry if there is any english flaws, im from Norway :P

You can't please everyone. With that in mind, I say go with what you want. I'm serious. Your fursona can be a mutant chimpanzee riding a missile into the war with the giraffes if you wanted.
