Haiku
« on: June 07, 2007, 07:06:31 AM »
Poetic haiku
Employ a syllabic count
Of five, seven, five.

Haiku are at peace
In this illustrious thread.
Prose is not allowed.

Scribe your poetry
On these black and barren walls,
But take care your words.

In sincerity,
Signed your dear humble feline,
Pulse of the grasslands.
...and everything under the sun is in tune...

I like your poems :snicker: ( aplaudes )

I have one :sparkle:

Snow falls covertly
Upon the cold arid ground
Awaiting springtime.

Thank you, friend Tator.
Your compliments are welcome.
(Next time write in verse.)

An absent loved one,
Such heart-wrenching loneliness,
Yet the tears won't come.

Father in Heaven,
Why hast thou forsaken me?
I pray for thy gaze.

Tail between my legs,
I stand frozen awaiting
My master's swift hand.

the end of time comes,
swiftly as if on eagles wings,
silently it sings.

beyond the mountains,
the sunrise dawns to end me,
silently i cry.

forgotten forever,
I live alone.

(thanks)

the owl takes flight,
spreading its vast wings softly,
the mouse is running
forgotten forever,
I live alone.
