This is my little slice of the big ol' coconut pie
I love to write and i love to share my work, so if anyone is interested, here's some of my pieces ^^
First off is a very special piece i wrote for a very dear friend of mine~
~~Anya's Poem~~
He closes his eyes and sees her smile,
What he would give to hold her a while.
His heart melts when he sees her face,
She longs to be held in his warm embrace.
Her voice is like hearing an angel sing,
She's simply wonderful even when doing nothing.
She'll rob your soul and steal your heart,
With one kiss of her lips, you'll never part.
She's loyal and faithful even in the end,
A giver, a lover, and a best friend.
Beautiful and smart, she's truly kind,
So don't take her for granted, she isn't blind.
This was originally a dream i had, but my muses soon turned it into a poem to share for all~
~~Sailor's Wife~~
She sets sail riding the ocean waves,
Her heart filled with hatred and rage.
Why did you take him she yells and screams,
You ruined our plans our hopes and dreams.
She curses to the rain filled sky,
Minutes and hours soon passing by.
Her ship sailing farther out to sea,
Gazing at her memories in pure misery.
We were to have this child and be wed,
Now you leave me with an empty bed.
A fatherless child to raise on my own,
A queen without a king or his throne.
She glances down into the water's depth,
Breathing deeply as it's her last breath.
She casts herself into the sea's tow,
Falling deeper into the darkness below.
What am i doing, this cant be right,
To give myself up and take my baby's life.
She fights the current trying to surface,
Her body weakens as she feels worthless.
Her body weakens as it becomes too late,
Maybe this was our destiny our fate.
