You lot have any ideas for poems to write? I'm currently, and often, drawing a blank

Write a poem about a peanut and leave it as a metaphor for just how much there is to life

Alright, not very centered about the peanut, but it did feature one

You asked me, once on a humid day;
What is there to life, what is out there?
And after some thought, I could only say;
There is the calmness of not having to care.

There is the beauty of that forest right nearby
There is the warmth from the sun, shining through the roof of our hut
There is the energy of life all around us
There is the enjoyment one can take from even a peanut

There is everything you can see.

Writing poetry about colours is always fun. Perhaps blue?

Talk about something you've known as a kid and cherished, but changed in some way when you became an adult. Something like you remembered this place being x but it seemed different going back there when you were older.
