Anje put her hand by the side of her face. As she walked through the park,watching people enjoying their lives all calm.She wished at the moment she was with her parents but of course everyone couldn't be lucky as others.One she was half siren.The mythical creatures their voice lure sailors, men to their death.But not only that, her voice could lure any being.
She found that to be a lovely gift, not really.But her grandmother,said it was.If she was ever in danger she could sing her way out of it.It was Just at times it agitated her.
Walking out off the park entrance,purple orbs gazed forward to the busy street.At a moment she heard laughter, as a ball was kicked onto a street. a small boy went to retrieve it out in the middle of the road. "Billy!" she heard a frantic cry. She guessed to be from his mother.
Seeing a car coming from at least three miles away, she opened her lips.She sung no real words, just melodic notes.watching she saw the boy gaze at her.His eyes blank and focus to her. Beckoning him with her voice she told him to come back to the part.
Once the child's foot reach the sidewalk she stopped.No one heard her song but the child.As long as she didn't want anyone else to hear it."Billy." she heard the mother footsteps. turning quickly on her heels she walked away. Not noticing that someone witnessed the event.
Koto just stared in awe he had seen the girls lips move but no sound emerged. He himself was half wolf and his hearing was beyond that of an average human. The way that the child just followed into the park and towards the woman was just abnormal. He looked the girl over once more and just shrugged . Perhaps he would see her later or tomorrow god only knew. But hey at least she was hot. He turned around himself and walked a few steps and whacked himself on the forehead "Right right she apparently is headed in the direction of my house!" he grumbled "Idiot..." he walked quickly catching up to the other and smiled as he walked beside her "Heya how are you? My names Koto I'm new to the town just looking to make friends if you don't terribly mind" he was extremely nervous just looking at her let alone being near her drived him wild not to mention timid. "Well if you don't want me around just say so" he was obviously trying to hard he was sounding like an idiot. But he wasn't going to give up just yet.
Anje turned towards the male."Okay...I guess..." she answered honestly.She looked him up in town.this didn't seem the person to be friendly but he was new of course." Do not try to hard....I do not mind if we become friends..do not be so timid..." she smiled." I am Anje by the way."
He nodded "Hmm so how long have you lived here exactly?" his tail was currently flying around behind him. Mainly because only non-humans could see it so quite frankly it didn't matter to him. He let his wolf ears give a twitch "Seems pretty interesting around here anything to do for fun?" he slipped his hands into his pockets. he let out a soft yawn he was still nervous though. It wasn't a normals nervous feeling there was something different about this girl he couldn't quite tell.
Anje saw a black tail swaying.She perked a brown. So she was talking to a demon.She wonder did he hear her voice, shrugging to herself."All myu life...my grandmother raised me." she responded."For fun...there are restaurants and dancing clubs..but this place is more family oriented."
He nodded slightly "Well my house is still getting moved into so you up for grabbing something to eat?" he smiled brightly he was starting to become more comfortable around her. "Your grandmother seems interesting... Family oriented huh? Doesn't sound all that bad..." he caught her eyes looking at his tail "Um what are you looking at?" he was suddenly startled he was hoping to high hell she couldn't see him. Most that did just ran and left him there thats the reason he moved in the first place.
Anje chuckled,"Nothing." she averted her eyes back in front of her." May it can be....I do not know." she wondered why he acted so strange. But shrugged it off."It can be...bad...especially if you are alone."
He sighed "Alright let me get this out of the way no I am not human but I can tell that you aren't either do to the fact you can see me for what I truly am" he stopped and turned to her "Yes you are right it is horrible to be alone I know the feeling I have been alone all my life actually your the first to talk to me without mocking or beating me... But you are different I can tell"
Anje shook her head,"But I am human." she said.Her eyes narrowed she was human a least half of her.She rather had been full bloodied and ignorant than have the curse she had of song.
"Why would I beat or mock you?" she asked.Never actually getting why people did it.
He calmed down his face flushing at his rash actions "Well you see most see our kind as a threat..." he looked her over and sniffed "Well your at least half human" he stood where he is looking down "I'm sorry I shouldn't have overreacted" he looked up "Forgive me?" he smiled "Still want to get something to eat?" his face was still crimson what he had done was pretty damn stupid he had a chance and he lets his tongue slip how stupid was he?
Anje looked at him,"there is nothing to forgive...you were being cautious ...not a problem." she responded quirking a brow."I'm sorry but I can not...you see...my grandmother is expecting me.maybe another time?"
He nodded "Yeah ok not a problem I understand" he smiled "Well since your grandmother is in need of you then you should help her out" he digged through his pocket and pulled out a scribbled something down quickly he handed it to you "That's my number give me a call when you are free" he turned and began to walk away sending a wave over his shoulder "I will be awaiting your sirens call!' he didn't actually know about you he just found himself attracted to you so he thought it was a pretty funny joke.
Anje looked at the number and back at him.Waving back she smiled,weakening at his joke."sirens call." she mumbled As she shoved hands into her pockets and began walking.
He sighed slightly as he walked away from what he thought was the best damn thing to ever happen to him. Putting his hands in his pocket he pulled out his cell and went over his messages. A few of his old friends from his hometown had sent their remorse for him being gone but other than that there wasn't too much. He was now headed towards the forest not too far off for a little hunt. He smiled as the moon began to come into view as the sky darkened. He let the dark embrace him as his form completely changed. He whimpered as his bones snapped and rearranged. His snout forming and his skin drying and falling off underneath was a layer of jet black fur lined with red. He smiled a fang filled smile as he darted off he still had his human clothes on which meant he still had his cell.
Anje went to the store.It wasn't just any old grocery store but an old one that carried Jasmine, arts of newts and d other things.Going in she grabbed the wolfsbane and paid for it. She sai how soon it was getting dark, she ran and made to the other side of town.
She came to a large two-story brick house.Going forward, her wedge heels striked the pavement.Going in, she heard her grandmother singing.
"Grandmother...." she called as she went into the kitchen and their stood her grandmother.She was shorter than Anje with blond hair and sea-green eyes."Anje you brought it..." Anje nodded and handed her the wolfsbane off."What are you doing?"
"Ahh my dear just a little something for a wolf...."
He was now just finishing up his meal some blood stained his face" wiping it away he retained to his normal form. He streched out and walked back from the woods unknowingly through your back yard. Once he reached the street and sat on the curb sighing lightly wishing the mystery girl would call him. He truely did like her quite a lot it seemed she just drew him in it wasn't exactly natural she just seemed unnatural and this grandmother of hers? why wasn't she with her parents after all she didn't look to hard done by. He turned lightly looking behind him at the lights still on in the house behind him why was someone up this late I mean that wasn't nessacary plus it kind of a threat to him he smelt wolf's bane and he didn't like it.
Anje's grandmother stared at her. The women was well over the age of forty but looked only that age. She grinned,"I have a job to do....you see....some do not like the local wolfs demons...or werewolves so.....I'm going to attract some..." Anje narrowed her eyes."What?" her grandmother asked sounding like a child."Claire?" she questioned. "Okay...there one in particular....it's a were uptown...I find him sexy..." she replied.
Anje shook her head and walked out the kitchen going outside to her back yard looking at the night sky.
He sniffed the air once more to pick up Anje's scent which drove him wild. He quickly dashed to the backyard to where she stood and hid under the deck not wanting to be detected. He smiled and drew out a rose he had hidden under his cloak he threw it upwards towards the other it was a midnight navy blue. He then walked off down the lane and sat down watching the others house still he was confused as to why he smelt wolf's bane it made him uncomfortable.
Anje caught the midnight blue rose.It was a rare sight to see.She wonder he thrown it to her.Smiling she put it to her nose inhaling it's scent.Putting her left hand in her back pocket she pulled out Koto cell number. taking out her own she dialed it and call him.
He heard the song "What I've Done" by Linken park and pulled his cell phone out it was ringing the call id said it was Anje he picked up 'Hello so I finally get my sirens song do I?" he smiled "Did you get my blue rose?" he shook lightly "Why do I smell Wolf's bane from your house?" he coughed lightly "You know the stuff could kill me right?" he shook his head "Well answer me this what are you really?"
Anje chuckled over the phone."I guess....you...do..Koto." she spoke into still smelling the rose."Yes...I did..it was you..." her voice ranged out on the phone."Where are you?...ahh and yes.....and it's not my house...it's Claire's my grandmothers...."
She paused for a moment did she wanted to tell him. "Umm...just as you said before waiting for my Siren's call....I am half siren...to be exact...and human."she responded
He spoke a bit more clearly now that he knew what you were 'A siren eh?" he smiled "Good to know who you truly are." he sighed lightly "Well if you come to your front yard I am all the way over at the edge of the street." he blinked "Is your grandmother out to kill me?" he was seeming scared now 'because I wanted to come and see you but I am afraid that your grandmother would kill me."
Anje laughed. Closing her phone and ending the call. She quickly jumped over the ledge of the back porch.Going to the fence and opening the gate and coming out seeing Koto."I guess..." she responded walking to him,"No...just after the leader of the local pack....the have a thing going on...."
He blinked and looked at her as he closed his phone. Standing slowly he walked towards her "I am surprised that you didn't call me a stalker for finding your house" he kept his hands in his jean pockets. He looked her over "By the way your looking beautiful" He blushed madly as he said this but he couldn't hold it in any longer he had to speak his mind "So what do you want to know?"
Anje purple orbs gazed at him."Ahh I like your human form...but you might want to hid the fangs...people get creep out...." she said.Turning her head,"thanks..."
"One why this lovely rose..adn where did you find it.It's rare....second..why do you worry about Claire...she's not after you and ..the concotion is not strong enough to hurt you....trust me..." she stopped.whispering only that he could hear,"I do not want anything going on between us...for one....you heard me earlier and that's not a good thing...."
He listened intently to the other as his fangs retracted. "Well this flower I gave you came from a secret place that I found in the woods..." he was shocked to hear her say that they should not be togather "But because you are what you are thats what drives me wild" he looked her over "Really though there's nothing wrong with you at least you look human me on the other hand..." he looked down "If we shouldn't be togather then it should be because of me not because of you of course you deserve more than me..." he gave her a weak smile.
Nodding,"You know...you remind of someone when I was back in Ireland....but it's the truth...What I have...is dangerous...beautiful and a curse....once...you heard my voice..ther's no one...I can..." she stopped."Look Koto...I want to get to know you...you are sweet.." walking over to him.She rubbed his chin.Anje was acting as though she was a very young teen.Soon she was going to be eighteen.Although she had a job and everything.
"Besides..you can't say that..when you do not know me..yourself..i do not know about you...."
He blushed madly as she walked around him so close. To tell ya the truth his birthday was actually tommorow not that he had anyone to celebrate it with due to fact his father was the pack leader around here. But since he disobayed him and injured him he was banned from the pack so he was always alone. "Well that sounds good to me Anje" he smiled brightly "So are you going to invite me in its kind of cold out here unless you want to cuddle out here"
"aAwww you cuddle...." she smiled and cocked her head. Grabbing his hand she pulled him to the back of the house.Opening the sliding doors, she pulled him along through the ddining room and past the kitchen on the right."She'sin her own world do not worry...." Walking to the ahall she took him upstairs to her bed room.
It was painted blue along with her bed and furniture matching the tone of the place.
He opened his eyes wide in amazement at her response and gave a small yelp as she pulled him forward. Upon entering he looked around cautiously for the girl's grandmother when he finally saw her he was happy to know she was busy. As he headed up the stairs all he could do was smile this was the first time anyone that knew his secret treated him with respect. Upon entering her room he would simply lay down on her floor and stare at the ceiling not going for her bed due to the fact that she thought that may be offensive smiling up at her all he could say was "Thank you"
Anje smiled."Anytime..." she responded as she went to sit onto her bed. Falling back gazing at the ceiling."SO what's up?Why you herre in this place all of a sudden?" she questioned him.Her gaze going to her left.
He sat up slowly and yawned stretching out "So why do you want to know?" he smiled and looked at her "To tell you the truth I was banished from the pack by my father himself" he shook his head "He said something about i should grow some balls and kill some humans" he smirked weakly "I decided not to harm humans that it was against my nature he argued of course and said that it was any lycans nature." he looked at her "I knocked him in the head when he was conscious again he ordered I be banished by the pack so now I search for a home as a lone wolf."
Nodding,"then what happened to your mother?" she asked,"Oh so your saying you belong...or used to a pack...here....is your father...the head of the pack..because I believe my grandmother is trying to court him." She turned over in her bed looking at her hands."But i mean what he has against humans...I'm part one..."
He shook his head "Well my father used my mother thinking she was a werewolf like himself but it turns out she was actually a kitsune or a were fox if you prefer so I ended up a mixed breed hence the fact my father hates me so I could care less that my father gets offed." he looked down a single tear fell from his face "My mother though... Well when my father found out about her species we wasn't happy in the least bit he ordered she be murdered and raped." he smiled weakly "I would give anything if I could see her again since I was three I was with my father and the only loving I got was from his fist..."
