No matter who you ask, they’ll all tell you the same thing. No one seems to know where it came from or whether or not it was purposeful or a mistake. Either way though, the result was the same: total global saturation.On July 15, 2008 (It’s so strange to think that it was only four years ago now…) the virus was released. Within a few days, strange cases began to pop up in hospitals world-wide as humans began rapidly and violently becoming more bestial, more animal. Every soul it claimed only seemed to make the virus travel faster and do its work that much more efficiently. At first it took a week of pain to become an anthropomorphic animal shadow of the person you once were, now it only took a few days; assuming you hadn’t been gotten the immunization previously.Now that the world was divided into full humans and their more animalistic counter-parts (Furs being one of the more polite terms with the base animal name being the politically correct one), the world was divided. Different countries reacted differently to the “issue”, but the general consensus being that Furs are little more than second class citizens.To say that tensions have been low since the “incident” would be a complete lie. Ever since Patient Zero, the afflicted have been forced out to their own communes, to live out their lives away from humans afraid of their now-defunct virus. But just recently, tensions have flared…Yesterday, September 7th, 2011, five of the world’s most powerful countries in the world suffered a grievous attack: Russia, China, England, Brazil, and the United States. Although few casualties were reported in every attack, every member of the heinous attack carried on them a note that read as follows…[font='lucida grande', 'trebuchet ms', helvetica, arial, sans-serif]All the forces in the world are not so powerful as an idea whose time has come. We are that ideal. We will rise and take claim of this planet through the strength of our bodies. Do not believe that you arouse our anger. One can only be angry with those one respects.[/font]We will not be free until the last human breathes their last breath and we, the evolved, are left.Signed-CernunnosEvery government in the world is now scared. The attack was obviously a probe; a search for easy targets. The strikes began without warning and without detection. Someone is directing this and any world leader may be the first casualty.Militaries mobilize, the world holds it breath, and enmities flare. The World prepares for war.That is, unless a hastily formed team can solve this riddle…

Setting – You are members of a team that acts outside of political control. Once the team has been formed with the first few accepted posters, they will be supplied and sent into the world to discover what they can. Intelligence will be given through contacts as will supplies. Time is limited!This is a modern world type era, so expect to see and be able to use any weapons / armor / equipment / etc. that is available for use in the current era. You may play as a human or a fur, but all characters are subject to approval. Make sure to make some backstory!Multinational characters are encouraged, but if you wish to speak in a foreign language at any part of the game, please do not write the spoken language. Please write it in English and make it obvious that it is in a foreign language. Name: Lucas “Drift” Wright Race: German ShepherdGender: MAppearance: Standing just at 6ft tall with his ears rising another two inches above his brow, Lucas is slightly above average height. He has the coloring common to German Shepherds, brown with liberal black around the ears, the tail, and muzzle. He dresses as normally as possible (or as possible as it is when one must cut a hole in the rear of all their pants to allow their tale to poke through) in an attempt to blend in. Prefers “low-key” outfits such as jeans, a t-shirt, and a hoody to hide his, now, animalistic features. His arms and face are marred by multiple, minor scars; a testament to the ill treatment in his previous occupation and subsequent expulsion.Profession: Currently employed as a postal worker delivering mail door to door. He is an ex-marine (Gunnery Sargeant) with extensive training in long range engagements (sniper training) and counter-sniping.Anything special about the character: Is a military man to the core. He believes that the virus itself was a terrible catastrophe, but now that it has happened is only troubled by people’s reaction to it. Hates and despises that he and other Furs are shunned, but recognizes that it is human tendency and laughs with a dark humor at his new priorities; like having to remember to brush his hair in the morning (all of it).-Went through training and was deployed with Richard Carlson.Languages Spoken: English, French, SpanishPreferred starting load out: M21 rifle with attached scope (preferably with x5 zoom and / or night vision) and an M9 Berretta. Prefers black clothes and equipment that allows for stealthy infiltrations or exfiltration.NOTE: I purposely made Lucas as a Gunnery Sergeant so that (if someone were to desire it) they could make someone with a better cause to lead. Feel free to take on the leadership role!!!
