The Unforgiven (New RP premise!)

I like music. My idea for an RP centers around music, as those of you familiar with Metallica should have guessed by now. Still with me? Good.

The basic plot is that a brainwashing cult (which worships blue oysters - go figure!) is trying to bring about what they call the 'Black Sabbath' and take over the world. Simple enough, right? Well here's where things get interesting. Any magic/weapons/attacks need to be related to music (ex. the spell 'Thunderstruck', your weapon being a 'Velvet Revolver', etc.), and character tie-ins are encouraged. Most of mine will be based on Cassic Rock and Heavy Metal, but any genres are encouraged. Except rap, which I personally don't consider to be music. Also, despite it's odd sounding premise, I will be making this a Serious RP.

So let me know what you think, and maybe I'll make this an actual RP.

It's not exactly my sort of RP, but it sounds like it would be a lot of fun.

1) Yeah, I got bored and made the RP already.
2) A bar called the Octopus's Garden? Sgt. Pepper? A walrus that speaks exclusively in cryptic gibberish? Oh, the possibilities...
3) If you don't love music, you are missing out on an enormous chunk of life. Seriously, go to a store, ask about a good non-rap album, and listen to the sample tracks until something clicks.
4) Rap is not music. Not now, not ever. It's a feeble attempt at poetry at best, absolute garbage at worst. Just my opinion.

Agreed. Rap is NOT poetry, nor is it music or anything worth bothering over. Rap is to die off the face of the Earth, never to be heard from again.

Oh, we're going to go down that road, are we? Personally, rap is nothing more than bunch of garbage words thrown into a beat so fast, it makes your ears bleed. Destroying rap would be a deed to all of mankind. We're already dumb, don't make us any dumber; please!
