Moderator Applications

We're currently taking applications for anyone who may be interested in becoming a moderator of the forum.


Some of the things we look for in applicants:

• Must be fairly active on the forum; need to keep up with boards you are responsible for
• Is generally helpful, pleasant, and/or communicates well with both staff and regular forum members
• Generally well behaved

To apply, simply fill out the following form:

After receiving your application, you will be contacted via PM. Staff applications will be reviewed by Tweak and me, and discussed with the rest of the staff as well. The process may take a few weeks at most, but we'll let you know as soon as anything has been decided.

If rejected, applicants may reapply at any time unless told otherwise. We will continue to take applications for as long as this thread remains open.

Experience:Moderated 3 forums, two of those were gaming related forums. Led one real life related stuff forum.
Boards you are interested in moderating:Anything inside the Furry Central or Pawprint forums. Moderated one IRC once, but I pretty much forgot everything about it. I'm more active on the General board and Rants and advice, but I can moderate any other within those two sub-forums)

I have some experience moderating stuff, I come here everyday about 10 times and I'm almost always available for anything (except when I'm at school). Even though I'm 14 and from another country I think my English is pretty fluent and I'm very nice when talking with people, and I'm well behaved except from that only time I got said a mean word :x but that won't happen again.

Experience: I've moded a few forums, one in particular that was filled to the brim with flaming and trolling (Global Mod here). We mods did our best to keep it down and did a good job until the owner himself went nuts and shut things down.

Might not be the most trustworthy member of the forum since I only joined right before Christmas, but I log on every day and I'd love to give a hand if needed because TFF deserves it.

I can say that my full experience with forums is actually a bit limited, I have been admin/moderator of many communities/groups before, and I'm more then willing to help out another great community that I'm apart of. I may have not been so active the past couple weeks, but I plan on being on more now that my personal issues have been resolved.

Usually I am not comfy sharing my real age but for the sake of producing a moderator application I felt honesty is the best policy.

Boards: I am more than active in the serious roleplay board and spend fair time in the fun rp one as well. I may also help in the General, and Rants and Advice topics.
Strengths: I am online a lot, always reading and replying to topics that catch my eye! Because I have a phone with internet capabilities, I can get online whenever I am needed. Usually, I have computer acess during the week so if I need to do something major that I can't do with my phone I can find some time elsewhere. I respect the staff and try to show them that respect when I can, though occasionally my feathers are ruffled and I bug them about something they did. I respect the rules and am willing to excercise them for our forum.
Weaknesses: I like to keep a persona going for myself, hence lying about age and it is rare anyone on the internet knows who I actually am. (though my name and photos are real). I lack spellcheck on my phone so spelling errors may abound.
