Fall of Celestia

Long ago, a great warrior king named Dromus swept the land, conquoring people after people, leaving millions dead in his wake, the edges of the map being penned in with blood. His only sign of humanity was his love for one woman, Saphyra, his lover. The butcher of countless innocent lives could be brought to tears by a simple lullabye from her lips.

Dromus would always take a trophy from the defeated leader of each kingdom he captured, after ceremonally beheading them.

One leader knew of this, and was determined to make Dromus suffer.

He offered Dromus a Fine Wine, which in reality was a poison known as the Blood Dove, a concoction which tortured the victem for one week, which to the victem seemed like years, it would make the person first feel sick, head pains and colds, then quickly drain the blood from the body and feed it into a diseased heart. soon the heart would infect the lungs, the poison spreading further and further into the body, finnaly, after the victem had uttered their final breath, the heart would explode, liquidating the lungs and causing an eruption of blood from the mouth.

at a feast to commemorate his latest victory, Dromus unknowingly poisoned his love by offering the wine to his shy Queen.  

Soon, with Saphyra bedridden and dying, Dromus set out on his largest military campaign yet, to find the cure, and destroy all those he thought were responsible, mainly, the remainder of mankind.

after traveling thousands of miles and destroying thousands of lives, he found the only possible place with a cure, the Fabled Kingdom, of Celestia.

the Kingdom was said to be older than the planet itself, with inhabitants made of pure energy, and a king rumored to be a living star, with a core colder than space.

Using magic from the eastern kingdoms, began to eliminate the Celestians, using Energy disruptor cannons that bellowed toxic ash that would kill the Celestians slowly.

As he swept through the kingdom and broke into the inner Healer's chamber, he saw an entire wall filled with lightl blue vials.

But as he rushed towards it, the remaining Celestians sacrificed their energy forces in order to trap him in a tomb of crystal rock, and dragged Celestia down into the depths of oblivion, supposedly for eternity.

centuries later, demonic forces begin to emerge from different lands, rumored to be the manifestations of the hatred, sorrow and longing of Dromus' Entombed Spirit, each day attacks increase, the dead mount, and Heroes are born.

Some lands have turned their ghouls and goblins into minor annoyances with annual monster hunts and competitions.

one such competition is where five completely different and independent souls, will be thrust into a journy that will entwine their fates for the rest of their lives.

Love has no hate, but when hate overshadows the warm forgiving emotion, all shall be lost to the darkness.

Rain walked along the ruins, waiting for anything to happen, anything that would let her mind work again. She was bored.

Ausha blinked away the sweat collecting near his eyes. Nearby, the annoying buzz of a mosquitoe flittered passed his ultra-sensetive ear's. The early morning light swirled around the surface of the river, the dust sparkling. The branch underneath him swayed slightly in the wind, threatening to give his position away. He mentally sighted the bugabear with a crosshair, pushing slightly to the left and up, to make for wind speed and distance, Arm twitching, he slowly pulled the string on his long-bow to it's maximum stretch point, a little behind his ear. He released after half a second, the satistfying twang, THWACK! of the arrow releasing, and the string hitting his right bracer. He silently watched the black feathered arrow arch it's way ro the bugabears soft neck. At the last second, it twisted away, at an almost impossibly fast menuver for all it's seven-foot-nine  and four-hundred-pound glory, and the arrow skimmed it's thick hairy arm, barley drawing the congealed and cold blue-ish-green blood.
         "Damn it!" he softly exclaimed, he should've know it could smell the sweet-sweat making his black tunic stick to his back. He swiftly pulled out his resilluto, running to the end of the branch. He leaped into the air, falling sharply fifty-feet. The beast let out a savage war-cry, lowering it's head, serrated tusks gleaming with saliva. He charged at Aush's landing point, preparing to meet him in the air. He smiled savagly, expecting this. He reached to his leather boot, pulling out a concealed dagger, throwing it at the beast's leg. Thus crippled, it howled in pure furry, as Ausha landed with a swift roll and charged into the beast. Catching it's natural chest "armor", he pulled his sword up, curving at the base of the neck, where solid bone reached hollow, creating a small pocket of soft supple skin. His blade aimed true, the heavy body crashed down, i'ts head followed suit some feet away.


       Sighing softly, Ausha let the cold water swiftly move around him, he was glad to be rid of his sweaty clothes, but having his sword and bow farther than an arm's length away made him uneasy. Little did he know that something was lurking in the bushes not ten feet away from where he innocently bathed, thinking he was reletivly alone, in the forest of Alsir-ed.

Vince woke with anticipation, he would begin his travel to the tournament today, cache of swords at hand and hopes of victory on his mind.

walks out of his door, stretching and enjoying the cool breeze that swept through the canyons. as he stood on his porch he noticed some of the local children running towards him, probably to wish him well on his journey. He began to walk down his porch until he realized they were screaming in fear, not excitement. He looked further past them and noticed a small gang of goblins chasing them, primitive clubs in hand.
 Vince swelled with anger. If there was one thing that drove him mad with rage it was anyone or anything harming children. He bolted back into his house and came out swiftly with his favorite and oldest sword, his claymore Netherbane. With a loud roar he ran at the goblins holding Netherbane at his side gripping the handle tightly and picking his targets carefully. 5 was nothing he couldn't handle alone. he made contact with the point goblin shoulder to chest, dropping it with a sick thud. as the injured goblin fell Vinces sword lashed out crushing one goblins entire rib cage and ending its motion buried between anothers shoulders. the 2 remaining began to retreat when Vince quickly regained Netherbanes momentum and relieved one goblin of his legs before launching the ancient claymore at the final fleeing goblin. It rested it self in the goblins chest, pinning it to the dirt canyon road like a disgusting butterfly on display.
"damn goblins"vince murmered as he rounded on the children. He looked down on them inspecting each to make sure no visible injuries were noticeable"you kids okay?"he asked, each nodded absentmindedly, still in shock at watching the brutal killing of their pursuers.
vince bent down and spoke to the children face to face. you guys, im not gunna be around for a while so your going to need to be a bit more careful where you play, this village has got alot of great fighters, but were leaving soon. can i trust you guys to be safe? he gave them a smile and an inoccently inquisitive look. the looked at each other, drew in a breath and puffed out their chest like miniature marines yes Mr. Vincethey all said in unison. he nodded patted them on the head and then returned to his his home where he bagged supplies, weopons and a map and set off, being stopped only once while leaving the village by a grateful mother with a gift of fresh bread for saving her son. he accepted with a smile and continued on. setting his sights on the northern border and a victory in the looming tournament

really long, but I love writing this kinda stuff... sorry

Knightfighter a well known lone samurai wondered around the busy port town where all the fishermen and tradesmen would come and dock their ships at the massive port. Knightfighter had heard many tails of the vicious king Dromus that had lead several blood shedding campaigns through out the land. Knightfighter had been offered many times by several kingdoms to fight against Dromus but each time he had refused. For what reasons no one truly knew for he gave none to those who sought his aid.
