Through all of time, there were those born with special abilities. Abilities that could change the world. But, they were kept in secret, not wanting to show themselves for fear of persurcution. However, there are those few who ban together in the darkness of persurction. Although they could be persucuted, they deside to strive for peace.

However, there are those who also don't agree...

The wind swept through the empty halls of Skyhigh. It was a safe haven for those with powers. It was where they could learn to control them so they could help humanity, or maybe so they could live amoung it without being feared or hated. There were students who came there daily from thier homes as thier perants were still unaware or supers themselves. However, there were those who wern't so lucky, who had no homes. Skyhigh took them all.
The silence was disturbed by footsteps. A single figure. A dingo clothed in a suit, a teacher. He paused a second and took a look around, reflecting upon the school and those it would bring this year.
"A new year. Its going to be a good year." He said to himself before moving on.

Background:- Halfeb has been on earth before written history. In the middle ages he was split in half, and both sides created themselves again. The other half was exiled as a spy and turned into the infamous Dorean Grey, who runs Skyhighs nemisis school, Black Hole High. Halfeb believes strongly in peace and there being able to be a harmony on earth, and always strives towards it. He's spent many yeahs in ancient Japan where he learnt bushido and mastered many forms of martial arts. He's been through alot of history and played some key parts, most of which he never speaks. He's now one of the founding members of Skyhigh and wishes to help all he can.

Background:- Sharee acciedently destroyed a city block when she first found her power. She created a soundwave that destroyed all in its path. Before the people around her were able to linch mob her, Halfeb came in on his Motorcycle and picked her up and offered her the chance to come to Skyhigh. She came and started to get a crush on Mr Jones.

Background:- Alice acciedently cause a 12 car pile up when she first found out about her power. She phased through the car she was in only to come out the back onto the highway. The pile up killed her parents. She ran away as fast as she could and was nearly picked up by Blackhole High until Halfeb came in and rescued her. Now, best friends with Sharee, she attends Skyhigh so she dosn't cause distruction again.

Background:- Son of the famous Johnathan Watts, aka Electro, and princaple of Skyhigh, he dosn't yet know if he wants to follow in his fathers footsteps or become his own man.

Apperance:- Hair is deep red and covers eyes at all times. Wears usally Red t-shirt, torn black pants and red and black skate shoes.
Background:- Jack is queit and usally keeps to himself. He used to live in peace until his powers finally manifested its self and his home burned down due to his lack of being able to control it. From then on he lived on the streets until found and put into a foster home. For awhile he  was slowly devolpe his powers in secret. Then one day he chanced apoun hearing a conversation about Sky High.

Ability:-  Forming energy crystals of all types, healing, perpetual good health (a type of immortality), flight (from his wings that he grew when he came across his first artifact, which also changed him into an arctic wolf from his normal fur colors) and semi-ubiquitousness (all-seeing when he is in meditative state)
Apperance:-   6'2", 170lbs, Clothes:  A pair of white cargo pants with a purple dragon around the right ankle, a white-leather silver-pyramid-studded belt (3 rows), 2 wristbands that match his belt, and a tribal pendant.     Species:  Arctic wolf (with large wings)     Markings/Hair:  No markings, shoulder-length white hair that is tied down, pristine white fur.  Also,
Background:-  Father was killed by bad men, but they were dispatched as soon as he gained his powers.  From there, he has scoured the earth for ancient powerful artifacts that he has stored away safely in his home so they don't fall into the wrong hands.  Since then, he has hidden his tome that had helped him find his relics and decided that he'd like to get back into society.  From learning many forms of self defense throughout the world, he has become a near master of all forms of combat, whether it involves weapons or not.  He chooses not to fight physically unless it is absolutely required.



Sen entered through the far exit of the school, walking straight down the hall to his room.  As he opened the door, it made a soft creaking noise, his ear twitching a little bit.  "I thought that they would've fixed that by now..." he said, furrowing his brow.  He shrugged, walking slowly over to his desk.  "I can't wait until this year's class starts...  Hopefully they'll learn enough insight from me to last them for a while..."  He mused to himself, climbing up on his desk and getting into his meditation position, his eyes starting to glow white as he waited for his students to start coming in.  Being in his current state, he was able to see everything throughout the school and beyond.

Ability:- Pyrokinesis (ability to set fire to things with her mind), can create fire out of nowhere, can cover her whole body with fire without being burned, and ability to fly (which would be because she has wings).

Background:- Ember's name turned out to be ironic when her power was discovered when she got angry at someone for picking on her at her old school and set them on fire. Her parents came and got her from school right away (both of them secretly having superpowers themselves). She was homeschooled for a while before being sent to Sky High because she needed a lot of help controlling her anger and her powers.

Ember shot up quickly from her bed and looked over at her clock. "Oh torch!" She yelled. She jumped out of bed and threw on some clothes, luckily they matched, practically any combination of her clothes matched. She ran to the bathroom, brushed her teeth, and brushed her hair hurriedly. She looked at her eyes in the mirror, the fire in them pretty bright from her waking up so quickly, before shuffling out of the bathroom. She sprinted to the front door past her parents in the kitchen who started to speak but she cut them off. "Can't. Late. Love you. Bye." She said quickly as she pulled on her shoes, shut the door behind her, and headed for school, wishing she could just fly there.
She ran all the way to the walkway to the school before she believed it was safe to just walk, taking a deep breath as she slowed down.

Background:- Sharon first found out about her shifting abilities when her older brother slammed her arm into the wall outside their house. Her anger rose and she suddenly was a massive creature of imaginable size and might. After she'd succeeded in forcing her brother away, she left for Skyhigh, remembering the rumors she'd been able to hear.

Ability:- Hear extremely well, discern different sounds at any time, and respond instantly to another's emotions/thoughts without much attention needed

Background:- Grew up in a mutant neighborhood, raised by a shifter mother and demonic father. Jasen found out abilities from playing as a kid with the other mutants.

Name:- Firix Arenas
Codename:- Firestorm

Appearance:-
Background:- Full of fiery temper and defiance, Firix set fire to an entire skyscraper when she was fifteen. Now, at seventeen, Firix can control her pyromanic side better than when she was younger. Her eyes are her worst indicator.

Firix walked into the sliding glass doors of Skyhigh and blew her fire-colored hair out of her face. Her fur flickered between golden-orange to reddish-black. She rolled her eyes at the teachers and made her way to the stairs, commanding the very ground she walked. Heat followed her as she moved, scorching the other students when she passed.

Jasen flipped its hair out of its face, growling under its breath. The creature had glowing red eyes, red-cross stamped black wings and a yellow striped underbelly.

Name: Scyler Swiftclaw
Codename: Scy
Teacher/Student: Teacher
Year: 1st year teaching, teaches. Graduated from Sky High three years ago.
Ability: Controls nuclear energy. Can spawn nuclear explosions or charge object with enough energy to make them explode. Can also manipulate rafiaton around him to speed himself up or give him flight for short periods of time. His power is recharged by the light of the sun.
Appearance: Medium length brown hair that covers the left eye. Has a large scar on the right side of his face, just below his eye. When teaching, he wears a navy blue business suit with a red and black tie. When in casual wear, jeans, boots, a grey t-shirt with a black button up shirt on top with the sleeves rolled up. Always wears a bracelet to lee his powers from going out of control.
Background: When he was 8 years old, his powers manifested and he charged a small toy into an atomicaly charged grenade. It exploded, propelling him out of a window and levelling his parents house. Luckily, they were out shopping. Knowing he was a hazard to himself and his family, he ran away, leaving no trail to follow. He was picked up by Halfeb and taken to Sky High. There he learned how to control his power, learning that he should only use his full power in extreme cicumstances.

I walked into my clasroom, the students looked at me and went back to talking with one another. I popped my knuckles and set my briefcase down on my desk. "Students, if you would calm down so we can begin, my name is Scyler Swiftclaw and I am your new physics teacher. Now if you will all reach under your desks and pull out your books then turn to page 15. Todays lesson will be simple. Newton's first law."

The class went on, I noticed that the students actually paid attention to me. They took notes. The bell rang and I dismissed my class. "Dont forget the homework, page 18, numbers 1-15. It's due tomorrow." I packed up my briefcase and walked out the door and into the hallway, the hallscrowded with students.

Ember's first class had been physics. She sat through it, giving as much attention to the lesson as she could. Physics was actually kind of interesting to her. She also noticed that the teacher was new since she hadn't seen him around the school in her freshman year.
She wrote down the homework assignment in her planner, finishing right before the bell rang. She exited the classroom and went to her locker, putting her physics stuff back in its place and grabbing her stuff for her next class.

Sen returned to his normal state, sighing softly.  No classes this period, but it seems the new teacher Scy had a couple students that actually paid attention to him.  "Hmmm... I guess that there are students here willing to learn..."  He mused to himself, "perhaps some will be willing to expand their mind with a different way of thinking..."   He smiled, still sitting on his desk, returning to his previous state to keep watch of any students that might come to his class.

[Jinxed Shinigami]

Heads to his first period class Mr. Swiftclaws. Sat down in the back and took some notes kept to myself and left with everyone else not talking to anyone.

[Scyler]

I walk across the hall to a random fur's classroom. I peeked inside and knocked on the door, seeing a winged arctic wolf sitting on a desk, apparently meditating. "Excuse me, sir, but would you happen to have a copy of the bell schedule? I seemed to have lost mine..."

[Vee Katame: His Wolfy]

When Ember shut her locker she accidentally closed it on one of her fingers. "Ow!" She yelled as she pulled her finger back. The tip of her finger was covered in a flame from her being mad but she hadn't noticed so when she took hold of her things with that hand too, she accidentally started a fire on her notebook. "Aww crud!" She said as she made the flame on her finger vanish and put her hand over the little fire on her notebook, making it go out with her flame-resistant skin and fur. She sighed in frustration at her lack of control, she really needed to work on that more.

[Scyler]

I sniff the air. "Do you smell something burning?" I walk around, tracing the snell back to one of my students. "Hey, are you ok?" I looked, she had a large black spot on her textbook, probably from a flame.

[Jinxed Shinigami]

Smells something burning and smiles slightly and starts drawing little doodles in side the text book.

She looked up at the teacher and smiled slightly. "Yeah, I'm fine..." She said and held up her index finger, examining it. "It's amazing how something so small can set me off and make me lose my control when I'm not expecting it."

[Scyler]

I help up my arm and showed her the bracelet. "You should get one of these. It helps to keep your powers from going off without you wanting them to. I have an extra in my briefcase if you want one." I reached inside my briefcase and pulled it out. It looked like a watch but was entirely different. "Would you like to have it? I've already got one."
