Abney Park

in a secluded part of town a large airship settled to the ground. it had three massive sails as well as several scars from encounters with pirates and briggands. upon landind a loading dock opened in the port hull exposing a hearty crew lead by a black fox wearing a pair of brass goggles and a few technologies evident in the sheen of their brass casings.
"C'mon boys we need to go have some fun this night"
as he said this he lifted into the air on a pair of wings that suddenly grew from his back and flew off into town scatering fliers over the crowded, lamp lit, streets saying 'adventure? risk? flight? fun? see the captain of the airship VIXEEN in the Abney Park by midnight all treasures found during journy are yours to keep!' before leaving to return to his ship and expectant grin across his face. once he landed he made his way to his quarters his wings withdrawing into his back untill smothe fur was the only thing left where they had been.

"Whats this?" Macid bent over to pick up the paper that had fell to the ground. Reading the flyer, he thought hed give it a go. He'd never been on an airship before and the treasures sounded like itd be fun. Making his way to the park, he wondered who else would be joining him.

Akula was walking down the street checking his pocketwatch, when a flier posted on the wall caught his attention. He read through it, word for word.

"Adventure? Hmm, I'd like some adventure," he said, grinning.

Akula checked the location of the ship and continued to walk down the street.

[Buddywolf]

*looks at the big air ship in amazement and accidentally drops his ice cream*  Sign me up!  *runs into the park looking for Vixeen*  Vixeen! sign buddywolf up...erm..where ever you are...please?

Reaching the park, Macid saw a Wolf looking around, "Good evening Sir. I take it you read the flyers scattered around town too?"

[Akula Filiko]

As Akula neared the park, he noticed a lynx and a wolf conversing. He decided to introduce himself. Making friends early would be beneficial for future endeavors.

"Afternoon gentlemen," he said, tipping his hat.

[Ares the Ram]

"Ah hello sir. You are here for the airship as well?" (btw, im thinking its kinda early 1900s era, is how it sounded when I read the post. forgive me if its a different time)

[Akula Filiko]

"Indeed I am. This paper hear caught my attention and I decided that my life needed more adventure. What is your name, fellow?"

"Macid. And yours?" *extends paw to shake* (ill end my post here to wait for others)

flying down to the conversing trio the cptain hovered for a second then dropped right in between the three.
"Hello young sirs are you by chance here because of the fliers? cause if you are then welcome to my ship!"
the air stirred as he reached the last part of his scentance as the massive airship 'VIXEEN' landed right behind him.
(ooc yes it is 19th century think steampunk)

"I say. Simply amazing," said Macid as he Looked upward at the ship. He dropped his cane in sheer awe at its size. "Oh, I've forgotten my manners," said Macid, picking up his cane, "My name is Macid, Sir, of the Blefescue family. I take it you are the captain, no?" (I love steampunk!)

"My god..." Akula said in amazement. The sheer size of th ship was astonishing. How it was able to hold its own weight was a mystery to him.

"Oh, hello there, sir, he cleared his throat, "I'm Akula of the Filiko family. It's a pleasure to meet you sir."

Akula turned as he heard a loud thump on the deck of the airship. He looked over to his side to find a wolf of great stature breathing heavily. He was wearing rags and had no shoes. Curious.

"My god, what happened to you, my good sir?"

Akula couldn't help but notice the scar on the wolf's eye. This wolf doesn't have a family?, he thought to himself, I bet he's a master of survival. Living on the streets alone must've strengthened him.

"The authorities? Ha, the authorities are nothing but rubbish! I like your style!" Akula said heartily.

"Oh these old things? Ha, these are just the clothes of a failed inventor. Nice to meet you, Mr. Darkness!"

He held out his hand in wlecome.
