Killer Instinct- The RP

Taking place in the world of the incredibly popular fighting game Killer instinct, You may create a completely new character, play as an existing character, or use your personal sona to compete in the KI universe.

Setting
Thousands of years after a single titanic confrontation between two great warlords, Eyedol and Gargos, the world has seen much progress in the centuries since the warlords were banished, not all of it for good. Pollution has weakened the environment. Governments have fallen. Chaos rules, with huge mega-corporations battling and destroying each other for shares of the world’s wealth. Run by Ultratech, a very powerful megacorporation that has replaced all other governments and now rules the world, the Killer Instinct tournaments serves as both the top rated television broadcast of the future and testing ground for Ultratech's weapons. The winners of the tournament are promised whatever they desire. The losers suffer a significantly poorer fate...

Making Characters

You can also create your own characters or use your personal sona, just make sure you make a bio that talks about them. They can be furry, human, or monster, but they cannot be similar to an existing character. For example, if you wanna make an assassin from Sadira's clan, make sure you make that character different and unique and not a copy of Sadira. This goes with every other character except for Riptors and Fulgores, since they are manufactured by Ultratech.

Rules
1. Drugs and alcohol are not allowed under any circumstances.
2. During fights, please keep it at a PG-13 level (cuts, scrapes, bruises, etc.). Intense/detailed gore is not allowed. Killing is allowed, but make sure you do it in a way that doesn't involve Intense/detailed gore. No god modding.
3. For language, please keep it at a PG-13 level.4. Romance is one of the many genres of this RP, but material of a sexual explicit nature is not allowed. If you and another player wish to interact in a sexual manner, please keep it out of the RP itself. (do it through PM)

Name: Marlock Edyn


Age: 23



Species/Gender: Cat /male


Powers and weapons: Marlock is a spellsword which means he mixes both magic and martial talents to destroy his enemies, sometimes in one blow. He can charge any melee weapon with an offensive spell to increase the power of a single attack. He carries an enchanted katana as his main weapon which is intelligent and occasionally talks to Marlock.


Appearance: a pure white furred cat with short white hair and blue eyes. He wears a black leather vest over a
white shirt and blue jeans. His katana, named Shi, is strapped to his left flank.

(Looks good! Also, I did a quick google search and death is actually Shi in Japanese. Alright then, let's get this thing going  !)


“Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen!” A man with yellow hair and a spunky black tuxedo said into a microphone, “Welcome to today’s Killer Instinct tournament, sponsored by your beloved Ultratech!” The bleachers went wild as they waited for the fight to begin, with Ultratech guards supervising the crowd. The arena was surrounded by an electric fence and the floor was made up of large steel tiles that were stained in blood from previous fights. Two doors on opposite ends of the arena then opened, allowing the fighters to enter.
"On the left corner, please welcome the tournaments' latest fighter, Marlock Edyn!"

[Tina]

From the left gate, just finishing his sandwich, Marlock stepped into the arena and waved to the crowd, a big smile on his face.
"You seem awful confident." A voice rang in Marlock's head. He knew it was Shi and thought back through theeir telepathic bond.
"Of course we got this in the bag. Nothing to worry about."
"Never underestimate your opponent, Marlock. You never know what skill they could have."
"You worry to much." Marlock finished his thought and looked over to see who his opponent was.

"And on the right corner, we will be testing Marlock Edyn's strength with one of Ultratech's most fearsome weapons!" With that, the right door opened as four guards brought out a cage that contained one of the mega-corporation's Riptors, which were cybernetic velociraptor that had been enhanced through cybernetics and human DNA. It roared and snarled in fury, biting at the cage as it was eager for it's evening snack.

"Seems simple enough to kill." Marlock said as he drew Shi and stood ready.

(Sorry i'll have to do chores soon. I can rp for a little while though.)

"Fight!"
With that, the guards released the Riptor and turned their jetpacks on, fleeing the arena. The Riptor caught eye on it's opponent, or dinner in it's mind, and charged forward with no hesitation, snarling and drooling like the savage animal it was.

Marlock charged right at the thing but at the last second juked it and sliced at it's hamstring.

The Riptor tumbled on the ground before getting back up again, with the back of it's left hamstring injured. It then roared and tried to whack Marlock with it's tail.
