Skillet and Distrubed are alright they, only have a few good songs though IMO. The reason I love metallica and tool is that EVERY song is a hit (well except metallicas post black album pre-death magnetic days).

Why don't you like them? and what of their stuff are you listening to? I didn't like tool too much until my room mate introduced me to the right stuff.

whit me , wel i need to go out of my head and wanna do power slides randomly on skool . like skilled - monster , whit that song a just go crazy ,
but whit metallica , its nice to draw whit : like nothings else matters . but whit other song of metallica , i dont have that 'out of my head ' feeling .  XP

You are listening to the wrong metallica my friend lol. Sanitarium, and Master of Puppets will get that out of your head feeling :)

I can give you a list of songs that just get me totally insane :P:
The two above, One, Cyanide, All Nightmare Long, Creeping Death, Seek and Destroy, Battery, ALL of the instrumentals get me totally out my mind lol (Orion, Call of Cathulu, Suicide and Redemption, To Live is To Die)

But thats just me lol

I suppose the main thing you have to have when listen to metallica and tool is a respect for the whole band. I think too many songs focus on vocals and the chorus chorus solo chorus songs. I listen to other band and it always seems kinda redundant...but once again thats opinion lol

yeah there definitely isn't any other singer as awesome as him. Did you know he runs a winery? just thought that was something interesting and random lol.

I like all their albums and songs too, but there has to something you find yourself going back to. For me it's probly Vicarious.
