Punk rock/ post hardcore

I listen to a lot of post hardcore / punk rock/ "emo rock" what are your thoughts on the genre and what are some good artists you can recommend?
nine out of ten voices want me to sleep the tenth is wondering if penguins have knees

I listen to a lot of 70's punk and can recommend:

- The Clash
- Stiff Little Fingers
- The Pogues
- The Jam
- Sex Pistols
- The Strangelers

Along the line's of post-punk I recommend The Pixies


This is pretty much pure punk, not sure if it's to your taste :P

I'm not sure what constitutes as punk, but Billy Talent is very good, they're Canadian but have some awesome songs XD

I suggest the Yeah yeah yeahs or Claws & Organs for some post-punk, And Admella for some more boppy punk rock. :3
