Thrash Metal?
« on: March 21, 2014, 04:29:22 AM »
Any thrash fans on this forum? Fans of bands like 80's Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, etc...?

Thrash metal is my favorite subgenre of metal. I love it so much. \m/

Dude, nice!! Metallica's one of my all-time favorite bands as well. Favorite song? Favorite album?

My favorite Metallica song is Fade to Black; and my favorite album is Ride the Lightning.

hmm hard to pick fav song/album....I'd have to say one is my fav song off of and justice for all. My fav album would have to be Metallica (the black album with the snake on it)  XD

And Justice for All and The Black Album are great. One's a great song. I really REALLY like the acoustic intro.

DUDE DUDE DUDE YES Sanitarium is awesome.

Another Metallica song I really like is Escape because I can relate to it so much it's not even funny. One of their underrated gems <3

Btw, what songs/albums do you like by Megadeth?

NIiiice~ My favorite Megadeth albums are Rust in Peace (pretty much the fan favorite) and Peace Sells but Who's Buying. And of course the underrated gem Risk.

Wanderlust is one of my favorites from Risk. My favorite from Risk is either Breadline or I'll Be There.

And right? I love 70's and 80's music. Nowadays most music is crap. The only mainstream music I like is the occasional indie song that comes and goes like Somebody That I Used to Know or Ho Hey. xD

I've heard of them but I haven't heard too much of their stuff. I wanna hear more though!!

And ikr? I don't like pop or electronic music that much. To me it just doesn't compare with the classics.

Their earlier stuff is the best, their first album isnt that great but the rest are gold!

and you're spot on, also hiphop and most other rap drives me loopy. Look im talented I can talk along with music (I've probably mortally offended all the rap fans around here but its my opinion  XP )

Awesome. :D I'll check them out then.

Rap drives me nuts too. Well, modern rap. I like some 90's rap to an extent.
