Yes, I knit. And I quite enjoy it also as long as the project is small and quickly done because I grow tired of something quite easily.

I'm known amongst my friends for my cat ear hats. They're very simple and I can knit one in a day for someone if they buy the yarn for it - I use circular needles and knit until the hat can be simply sewn together, creating two sharp corners that look like ears. I usually also fasten the front and back of the ears together using a flat seam on the inside, making it look quite like this:



I was wondering if any of you here know a way of improving this simple technique. I can't seem to find anything online and I really wish the ears were better.
