New furry?

Hello guys, my name is Allan and I just joined this forum trying to figure out if I'm a true furry or not haha. I'm 16 and I have been familiar with this fandom for almost 3 years now, and I have always been fascinated by it, and I just today thought, well maybe I could be a furry! my favorite art is of foxes and wolves, and I couldn't choose just one, so I chose to be a hybrid of both for my fursona! I don't know if I can just choose an animal or not, but I did, lol. Anyways, I just wanted to say that I've always loved your cute fur suits and how you guys are just so friendly, so I though maybe I could become friends with some of y'all on here! Welp, that's all I've got to say for now, so I guess I can call myself a furry now?

Thanks! And yeah, I do have a question. How do I get my fursona into art form like yours in your profile picture? I'm not a fantastic artist, so I wanted to know if it is possible to pay someone else to make it for me somewhere on the internet. I know what it would look like, but I am terrible at art, and I wouldn't be able to express how I want it to look. I might not know what I'm talking about, and if I don't, then just let me know! Haha thanks for the warm welcome guys!

I got my art from our very own Cinder42... but she has stopped taking requests lately due to request overload. I would suggest looking somewhere in the Art Requests section of the forums, or maybe look around on various sites for people takinng requests, such as DeviantArt, FA, or even Tumblr. It's largely a hit-or-miss process, but you've gotta start somewhere. Zaida here did her own illustration, although I don't know if she offers the same to others.

I'm kinda in the same boat. I've been sort of mildly interested in the fandom about 6 years, now, but haven't really done much. I'm 19 and just want to check this out and see if I like it. I'm pretty bored with life right now.
