Hello, there! I was very confused on if I wanted to join this community, hearing the hordes of negativity from Youtube. But NBC news did the community a favor and shed light on the community. It was great to see a diverse range of people in a diverse range of fursuits. After hearing harmful comments like "It's just a fetish", or "These people are freaks" etc. I was so happy seeing a vibrant community that I was itching to be a part of. So, I say hello from my alter ego, Vurzzity (fur - diverse - community)

its great to see that the media has inspired someone to join the fandom rather them making them hate it, my name is Easter (not irl name, i), but the name of my fursona in the picture is actually twisted lime cuz i just thought it was really cool and stuff, there are a lot of friendly people here and in the community in general, and true for some it is a sexual fetish thing but for others and for most its just a fun way to be creative and make friends and express yourself and have fun

You should see the video for yourself! The journalist seemed interested and I was just so happy knowing a media actually got the balls to go to a big furry con and not sh*t on it without solid facts. Anyway, Twisted Lime sounds awesome, I can't wait to draw out my fursona.  I hope we can be friends
