Umm hi...i came to these forums to maybe meet someone to talk with et,c, but i am rather confused with the meaning of being a furry. I searched on google but all the explanations where rather different. So any insight would be helpfull to know if this place is the right for me to be at.

Being a furry means having great love in pride in enjoying acting as or even loving anthro's ((human like animals)) but many people have their own variations anyways welcome to the forums sugah!

Some are not as 'open' as others on being such, but if you want the way I see it for myself...

My avatar is my 'reflection' of me and my personality if given an animal-like form. Just ask yourself "how do people see me?" and based off of any answers you get, you can come up with an animal for a 'match'.

Thanks for the replies all. i now think i should properly introduce myself. I am a nice guy looking for people to talk with. My interests include: Games,litterature,art,music,religion,movies,cartoons and anime. I am also a writer and is aspiring to become a good drawer. Note that i am a pessimist and a misanthropist. But if anyone wants or feels like talking to me send me a message and i send you my email(i have a disslike of talking on forums).

Internet Relay Chat. Think of it as a 'public room' messenger. ((Which thinking about it, I've been having difficulties since I've gotten back. I can't get into the mIRC.))

You don't have to place your email 'out in the open', and I'd recommend highly against doing that. But just talking in forums isn't bad as long as you are careful in what you post.
