You can join this at any time as long as you make a dramatic entrance (e.g. Name kicked the door open, slicing the throat of one guard and used his baton to knock out the other, then greeted the oncoming allies) xD
You can use any gear/skill as long as it isn't god-modded (e.g. rapid-fire infinite rocket launcher that only affects specially-selected targets, or heavy tank armor suit)

X-46 Advanced Battlearmor Suit 1.02
This exoskeletal suit is a new protoype modification of the original battlesuits designed for extra-planetary combat by Rexler Industries for the United States Air Force. The battlesuit is built from a newly discovered hyper-dense, but ultra light weight metal known as Quantimantium, a quantum-density alloy created in artificial "black holes". Additional onboard systems include built in night/low-light visual enhancement, radiation absorbing surface, and internal inertial dampeners for kinetic/shock/concussive reduction. Being made of Quantimantium, this suit is the complete superior for a warrior, and more than just a find for the average juggernaut.
FN 2000
A 5.56x45mm NATO-caliber Assault Rifle, the FN 2000 is a gas operated, fully-automatic and ambidextrous bullpup rifle with a 30-round cartridge capacity. The weapon’s primary sight is a telescopic sight with a fixed 1.6x magnification (the reticle also enables use in low-light conditions). With proprietary lightweight 40 mm under-slung GL1 grenade launcher (empty weight—1 kg) that uses standard low-velocity 40x46mm grenades, this weapon is capable of fighting both infantry and unarmored vehicles.

Gauss Pistol MKI
A less powerful yet still very destructive sidearm, the Gauss Pistol is a Gauss Rifle that has been made into a handgun. MKI is far out-dated, and although less reliable, is much more powerful, and its lack of modern production makes this weapon legendary. There has been word that the scientists who made this weapon are working on making a Gauss Pistol that is both powerful AND reliable, but most believe they're trying to make a Gauss Shotgun.
